@@fadleadam it probably varies by product and by each person's sensitivity level. For me, aloe (like all other latex containing plants) is an allergy trigger regardless of how it is extracted or formulated.

I wish my mom made me use sunscreen when i was younger but being a child of the 80s we had competitions every summer to see who could get a darker tan 🤦🏼♀️ now my skin has paid for it and im doing rounds of hydroquinone and skin bleaching to reverse it. Sunscreen is life now! Even if i dont plan on leaving the house I still use at least a 30spf, but if i leave the house its 50spf+
I don't think skin bleaching undoes any damage. The tan itself isn't bad, it is correlated with the damage but it isn't bad. Undoing the tan can't make your skin healthier.
@@mievaselli7910 its from my dermatologist its a whole set that helps fade sun spots. Its the obagi hydroquinone with 0.1% tretinoin (retinol). Ive done it on and off for a couple years and it does undo the sun damage. It’s basically a chemical peel. The only thing i hate is you can only do it for a few months then you have to take 6 months off before you do it again.

Same! I rarely wore sunscreen until I was a teenager and I had soooo many bad sunburns as a kid and even as a teenager because I would only put on sunscreen once and then be in the pool or at the beach ALLLLL day! And I burn so quickly, on a really sunny hot day I can burn in a matter of about 15-20 minutes! The last really bad sunburn I had was when I was pregnant with my daughter exactly 17 years ago this summer (she will be 17 in September) and I was on vacation and no one told me that you’re more sensitive to the sun when you’re pregnant! So even though I used sunscreen and was only by the pool for about 2-3 hours I blistered, and what’s crazy is even now 17 years later in the dead of winter I have “tan lines” on my chest and shoulders from the swim suit I wore, like even in the winter I look like I have fresh tan lines like I just came in from tanning or something! I’ve been searching for something I can buy to try and fade the sun damage on my chest! It makes it so hard to match a foundation shade because if I match it to my face or neck then it’s a few shades lighter than my chest, but if I match it to my chest then the foundation is a couple of shades darker than my actual face, it’s frustrating! And tanning is becoming such a big thing again especially with teenagers because my daughter, niece and their friends all want to lay in the sun all the time and I keep preaching to my daughter and her friends that they’re putting their skin at risk of sun damage, skin cancer and premature aging! They’re so obsessed with tanning and they do use sunless tanning foams in the cooler months, but as soon as spring hits they start laying out in the sun and when summer hits they’re spending all day by the pool! I preach to my daughter to apply and reapply sunscreen and that she can still get a tan even with using sunscreen. Fortunately she does use sunscreen and reapplies it but I still worry about the damage she’s doing and the risk of skin cancer! But as an esthetician are there any products you recommend that help fade sun damage? I live in a super small town and we don’t have any dermatologists here that could prescribe anything so I have to stick with store bought products that don’t require a prescription unfortunately! Sorry for such a long comment 💕

The One That's A Serum is my all time favourite sunscreen. I wear it every day now and have pretty much stopped wearing make-up unless I'm on a night out.
I’m excited to try these products now that I’ve heard your thoughts on them, I’d actually been avoiding Hello Sunday because my first exposure to them was their marketing and it out me off. I saw several adverts that were a split screen of a Hello Sunday product and a Sunday Riley product and talking about how much better theirs was than Sunday Riley and I just thought it was odd and left a bad taste in my mouth that they were trying to get ahead by putting other brands down. But it looks from your video like the products really are worth trying and I’ll just put it down to a dodgy marketing strategy that hopefully Hello Sunday aren’t using anymore!

I finally managed to get some of the lip balm, and that's going really well too. I originally found the brand when I was looking for suncare sticks on cult beauty, and I've been hooked since. I can't wait to see what they'll release next.

The eye sunscreen is very exciting - i wish i knew how it sits under makeup. I would def try it sometimes, with a chemical sunscreen on the other areas on my face, maybe a combo like this will spare me from the high price of my usual sunscreen, which is fckn expensive but the only one that doesn't have a whitecast and doesn't sting my eye.
I definitely want to try the little tub of 'after sun' stuff! I have to take corticosteroids for an autoimmune condition and I always have the feeling you described by the end of the day - too much sun etc. I'm sure I'd love living in Scotland with their glorious weather :D xx

I purchased the one for your lips & the one for your eyes after watching one of your last videos that featured the one for your eyes (Lol). I love the lip balm. The mineral eye cream initially didn't spread well around my eyes.. idky. Maybe too dry for the skin around my eyes? I didn't like how it applied around the creases. I used it this past weekend for the 1st time. I only had a vitamin c eye serum underneath. I'm only planning to use it on the weekends when my fur baby walks me. I've been wondering about this brand, my favourite sunscreen is not reapplication-over-makeup friendly and the ones that have been available here that are look sooooo greasy even when rubbed in so aren't great either (La Roche-Posay has a decent one but I can never find it!). I've been avoiding everything that claims to give a 'glow' because of this too, and all of Hello Sunday's adverts show people with shiny skin and I couldn't find reviews that actually show how it looks without makeup, highter everywhere and lighting. This looks like it might absorb well though? Will definitely give these a look!

I’ve been using Tropic skincare sunscreen for my face and am just about out. I like how I can use it near my eyes without wanting to claw them out after a few seconds because they sting so much (I also like the faint banana smell). I might check this out though if it’s got something for near the eyes and it’s in Boots. 🤞🏻it works for me.
So...should you put on the eye cream after you've applied the everyday sunscreen? Because, the everyday one started to pill real bad, but I think it's because I was catching the mineral sunscreen that was on the top of my orbital bone (or, bottom one, the bone under your eye) as I was rubbing the reg sunscreen around. *sigh* Not cute. I want to tan coz I have lovely olive skin that looks so good if I let it tan properly, I also go super pale in winter which is great for goth aesthetics, but I digress. Sun screen! And I work inside too much, so I bought the Sol (colourpop's sister brand) self tanning lotions. Hope they look good. Have you ever reviewed their stuff? I doubt it
I was really excited about the eye cream one, but the fact that it is tinted is a deal breaker for me. I don't want to pay 22€ to find out that this is the wrong color for me. Why do companies do this - release something tinted in one specific shade? Everything that I ever tried that was tinted and advertised as subtle looked bright orange on me, I don't trust this one either. And how will this look on people with dark skin? No such thing as a universal color.
How did you get the spray one to not look like you just sprayed spackle on your face? I close my eyes, pass over with a few spritz, and when I open them there are cream colored spots everywhere. Also, doesn't sting the eyes? BULL.

Every time my BF and I are out in the sun I keep offerring him sunscreen and he keeps refusing until he starts burning. Before he gets red, he's like "I'm fine, I don't fell like I need it".

Chemical sun screen leaves me beet red and stingy. I love planet beauty tinted sunscreen my skin is 56 year old and dry and it works perfectly for me. I even use it as a foundation most of the time.

I've been wondering about this brand, my favourite sunscreen is not reapplication-over-makeup friendly and the ones that have been available here that are look sooooo greasy even when rubbed in so aren't great either (La Roche-Posay has a decent one but I can never find it!). I've been avoiding everything that claims to give a 'glow' because of this too, and all of Hello Sunday's adverts show people with shiny skin and I couldn't find reviews that actually show how it looks without makeup, highter everywhere and lighting. This looks like it might absorb well though? Will definitely give these a look!

I’ve been using Tropic skincare sunscreen for my face and am just about out. I like how I can use it near my eyes without wanting to claw them out after a few seconds because they sting so much (I also like the faint banana smell). I might check this out though if it’s got something for near the eyes and it’s in Boots. 🤞🏻it works for me.

So...should you put on the eye cream after you've applied the everyday sunscreen? Because, the everyday one started to pill real bad, but I think it's because I was catching the mineral sunscreen that was on the top of my orbital bone (or, bottom one, the bone under your eye) as I was rubbing the reg sunscreen around. *sigh* Not cute. I hope it was just that order mistake, unless the everyday one has a history of pilling?

I was really excited about the eye cream one, but the fact that it is tinted is a deal breaker for me. I don't want to pay 22€ to find out that this is the wrong color for me. Why do companies do this - release something tinted in one specific shade? Everything that I ever tried that was tinted and advertised as subtle looked bright orange on me, I don't trust this one either. And how will this look on people with dark skin? No such thing as a universal color.
How did you get the spray one to not look like you just sprayed spackle on your face? I close my eyes, pass over with a few spritz, and when I open them there are cream colored spots everywhere. Also, doesn't sting the eyes? BULL.

Every time my BF and I are out in the sun I keep offerring him sunscreen and he keeps refusing until he starts burning. Before he gets red, he's like "I'm fine, I don't fell like I need it".

Chemical sun screen leaves me beet red and stingy. I love planet beauty tinted sunscreen my skin is 56 year old and dry and it works perfectly for me. I even use it as a foundation most of the time.
Would it work for combo skin? Or is it really thick?
