Hey Alyssa I understand your need for sponcon (sponsored content), so please continue collaborating with brands, but may I make some other suggestions?
1) Would you consider adding timestamps to your videos? It could be as simple as 'Tip 1,2... Etc' to help us navigate - & also as a useful checklist for reviewing the tips at the end.
2) Perhaps you could reorder some of the content? I know you might not want to lump *all* of the ad part together (though some viewers may prefer being able to skip it entirely lol) but I honestly got a little distracted by the mini makeup in-between reviews (because tbh it sounds just like what my 'all fingers, no brush' MO needs lol) to the point where I forgot some of the previous tips 🙈 Guess this harkens back to my first suggestion of some sort of review/ recap at the end.

The shorts and navy shirt outfit was my favourite. How did you get the shirt to sit so nicely? Is that a new neutral puzzle bag? Love the gold pointed toe flats, so pleased metallics are making a comeback I've always loved gold and silver footwear.
@pauline9933 We've seen Alyssa for some years now reaching for her favourite button up shirts from a Canadian brand called 'Power Of My People'. Or POMP for short. She has done collabs with them in the past, so there may be an ongoing discount code on her channel. She explains that she loves the heavier weight fabric of these shirts. Giving them some structure with collar up, sleeves pushed up, part tucked etc. Has styles in White and Navy. She describes them as a quality brand to invest in.

I love the metallic flats. Last year I got some silver ballet flats second hand but still with tags, and I use them so often.

I’m a huge makeup fan - but I’m mostly into like indie eye shadow palettes and multichrome eyeliners. I haven’t tried Merit at all but I might look into it. Since I do very dramatic eye looks (sometimes with blush too) I tend to be very minimalistic with my skin and lips.

I have to say that new puzzle bag is such a great addition. AND I think I need metallic flats. Any ideas where you search for a gently use navy puzzle bag? It’s fun to be on a treasure hunt BUT not adverse to some help 😅

Refreshing to see someone not layer on piles and piles of foundation, correctors, contouring, etc etc… I find a lighter approach far more appealing.

@kew04weil72 I don't think Alyssa usually provides links. As you say, unless it's a collab. She did a Spring/Summer 2024 Trends video, maybe back in May (!) Her floaty, tiered white dress may have been discussed in that video. (French brand Sézane perhaps.)

I usually love all your videos, and I get it that sponsors pay for all the time and effort you put into your great content, but I feel I was duped into watching this one giant ad for Merit that spanned almost the entire 12-minute video. Not a fan of this ad style.
I love Alyssa‘s videos and scroll past ads that don’t fit me. Her content is free so I expect a few ads
yeah and the actual content starts at 4:25 🫥
To be fair to her she states and displays on the video that it includes a promotion, and you can easily fast forward past the ad to where the content begins. I don’t like promotions either but they deserve to get paid for the entertainment, knowledge, and expertise they provide us for free.

That depends on face shape and what part of your face you want to emphasize. I wear my blush in the “wrong” place to make my cheeks look smaller.
A 12 minute makeup ad is a bit much. Disapointing, not what I'd expect from you. A misleading title.

@@heatherp7836 Did a barking laugh at your comment 🐵 For most of us, yes - makeup can definitely change 'the canvas' of how we look. Add hair glossing, or change of hair style or accessories, fragrance, jewelry. These can all elevate a daytime look.
OK but WHY all the long sleeves? No one in America right now is wanting to wear long sleeves in this July heat. Even if it's a linen shirt or dress. No thank you!!!
Canada may have a different weather pattern. Artic winds are still chilly. Maybe swap out for a shorter Tee.
Actually I prefer long sleeves even in summer weather because I hate the feeling of my inner elbow skin sticking together in the heat lol, & there's others who value the sun protection - no need to speak for everyone...

@sandramaki7819 Oohh, do come back for another try. Alyssa's latest video from Sardinia, Italy uploaded yesterday. I haven't watched it yet - think it has an 'Italian Style' theme. (She did give us three outfits here and six or so suggestions for using our closets creatively for Day-to-Night looks. I think that was okay. Plus the interesting looking Merit sets.)
