I have a 2005 mini cooper s r53 and I would love to purchase this cylinder head in the USA I don’t have many options here and no one wants to touch it because it’s a rare and weird car here no one even wants to do maintenance on it I have to do everything but porting and machining the head is outside of my capabilities
I take it there was a bigger cam along with the head work? Good results - and your point about making more while not increasing the supercharger load is well made. More heat is definitely the enemy. I'm about to build a streetable / sleeper mini and so this is good news to me.
I have one that makes 708 horsepower with changes to the bay and engine position. The engine is no longer horizontal but straight. That’s for the exhaust to fit better and gear box and wheel hub and bigger engine.Was 4cylinder and now it is 10. two fuel pumps stock from the same model car hooked up and still work stock with stock car computer. Put bertrr spark plugs that are fuel injectors also and a twin turbo.I have another that has 1000hp same things done to it but bigger engine and heads.And these cars are silent as hell like Batmobile.

so - "head work alone" apparently also includes a different cam, intercooler, throttle body, airfilter and exhaust..
Can’t run any higher % pulley with the 8k rpm limit because it’ll overspin the charger haha
