in addition, might I suggest for some real fun . my dual mass P.O.S.flywheel blew up 9500 miles. I replaced it with a aluminum / steel 23lb. one, its 11lb lighter. the throttle response is awesome. have fun and keep the tires on the pavement.
Hey!! ill be doing my clutch soon and absolutely will be throwing in a lighter flywheel. thank you for the input dude. the throttle response bump / faster rev climb is exactly what I am looking for : )
love that!!! I got mine right before i graduated high school with 155k miles... i am so happy this car was so unreliable. It gave me the best bonding opportunity with my dad as we both struggled to understand these cars lol. best of luck with pulling the motor!

Also you'll need a hose strong enough when warm to not collapse on itself. And he didn't mention it but a direct port Injection meth kit you'll only need one catch can. I preferred the meth kit as you don't actually need a tune if you get the one with the boost controller spray nozzle. If you do decide to get a tune it will be important to never run out and drive with an empty tank otherwise no tune doesn't matter if you run dry. @@aerogarage I cant recall if you mentioned emissions. I am in Illinois I believe we have stringent emissions tests. How is emissions working for you with the downpipe? Also did you tune too?
The four spots have made any pedestrian safety systems totally redundant. I'm surprised if it will pass safety inspections like that. Nice mods though. Best r56 mod is to buy an r50, lol

love the high pitch ringing
this video has a lot more involved than screen recording tarkov. i was still new to editing and yt boss , its ironed out now
Love the video. I'm building/restoring R56 for my son. I don't know anything about them, but the engine is coming out tomorrow :)

@@aerogarage Exactly that. My son is 18. We bought 2008 R56 with 56k miles, but timing was bad and it destroyed a thing or 2.
How hard was it to install both of your catch cans. I feel like it would be a pain because of how little room there is on these guys.
it was involved but it wasnt difficult, you need extra planning and hosing to make it all work cleanly.
How do you do the one on the rear pass side as it has that diaphragm thing

do catch can kits come with all extra hoses and stuff that they need
it depends on the kit you get
Do you have a link for the catless downpipe or highflow downpipe?

how fast does the catch can fill up or how often should i check it
i check mine once or twice a month / every 2-3k miles or so
Where did you get the red rocker cover from
it is linked in the description
Great content!! Do you know if the catch cans are also necessary to a N18 engine?
always encouraged. i believe n18s also have PCV issues so i would say it would be worth doing
@@aerogarage is this why my muffler smoke after idling for 10mins?
Sweet ride!
thanks boss
Informative and very pleasant video. Thanks
Any concern during rain with the intake?
Absolutely zero
I am currently using 200cel downpipe for n18 right now. Will catless downpipe be much louder than 200cel?
i am honestly not sure, but it will be louder. just not sure to what extent
I got catless dp on my 2012 R56 with one resonator and I pass emissions with no problem Also in GA don’t know it if different in other states
oh damn thats clutch. pa is pretty harsh
Amazing video! Thanks for your tips
If only these things were reliable, I'm getting rid of mine soon sucks cause it's such a fun car
