Their customer service is excellent. I went to do payments on a stand and hammock cause i wasnt able to pay for the full amount at the time. I wasnt paying attention and the loan had gotten denied and i accidentally paid for the full thing all at once lol. That was either late friday night, early saturday morning. I sent them an email and even though their service department is only open monday through friday, i got a response oj sunday morning saying she'd send it to whomever to cancel the order and issue th3 refund. Monday morning about 9 or 10 am i got an email and text saying they cancelled the order. Top notch service. 9t was small but it does make a difference when its a smaller company vs a larger one. I may not agree with th3 pricing on some of their products but they are good products id say.
I’m glad they came through for you all. I wonder if they just had a bad batch of fabric? It might be the case from their suppliers. It’s nice when a company follows through on their promises like that b
Yeah I’m not sure, I’m very nervous taking the new one out now though.
I'm about 200lbs solid and I purchased the Kammock Mantis regular with a max weight of 500 lbs exactly a year ago and it works GREAT! My son who's about 130 lbs got in it with me to test it's capabilities before the year warranty at REI was up and the material held up without any stretch marks. My only complaint is the fragility of the bugnet. Good to know info on the customer service.
That’s good to hear. I’m around 230-240lbs - the UL version has a 300lb max weight. So I was well under that. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
Always test your gear before using it.
