I think most people are disconnected from their true inner core, (no thoughts towards it, don't know of it) while too many of us rarely reveal it. Jaelene Hinkle made a very good point when she mentioned playing soccer as her "job," not promoting homosexuality with her jersey. However, that has absolutely nothing to do with the 1st Amendment right to free speech.
etyrnal You’re wrong there, if you have ever played any club or select sports you would know that you usually have sponsors on your jersey promoting them while you play. I have also seen sayings and quotes or signs or jerseys, you don’t play those sports because you care about what the jersey looks like you play it because you love it. The USWNT have made it no secret that they have supported the LGBTQ community so she knew that going into it, this is honestly disrespectful to the team and the players that would love to be where she was, it’s sad that she did this for the views.

Exactly, if she wants to interpret the rainbow colors as being representative of God’s promise to not flood the earth again, she can. At the end of the day, the colors can represent different things to different people and giving up a national team spot because you have to wear certain colors (that can have a biblical representation if you choose to view it as such) seems like a bit of a reach.

I don't watch women's soccer, just because it doesn't appeal to me. I am a big fan of the USMNT though. I'm not sexist, I just don't think women's soccer is as exciting and men's soccer. In my life, I think I've watched maybe 4 minutes, tops, of a women's soccer match and I don't plan on watching any new games anytime soon and after the US Women dissed President Trump, it just made me hate soccer that much more. However, having said all of that. If this sister in Christ was called up and given another opportunity to play for the USWNT, I'll will watch her play in a game.
