Great video, but some minor corrections. While Optimus typically is fully capable of taking it to Megatron, he doesn't scale over the version that beat the D-Void. That was an amped up version of Megatron who was already in an insanely powerful, his railgun allegedly being capable of destroying a city in one shot, and Prime had tussled with him and got beaten easily. Seriously, he got beaten badly, despite utilizing orbital strikes, it wasn't even close. Also he less straight up beat Thunderwing and more like threw so much heat at him that he burned through his fuel supply. And Unicron USED to be a multiversal singularity, but this is no longer the case after some wacky nonsense. Regardless though, great video!! I always love to see Transformers content!

Glad to see some powerscaling of IDW Optimus, though I do want to point out about the feat where ‘Optimus’ fights ‘Cthulhu’ In the comics, that wasn’t actually Optimus, that was someone by the name Domitius Major. He was a Maximal that lost his memories, and Shockwave manipulated him and others into thinking they were Autobots, therefore Domitius believed himself to be Optimus And yes, he did defeat an Elder God, but that wasn’t really ‘Cthulhu’. It was simply just an Elder God that broke out of Transwarp Space and invaded the mortal realm. TFWiki may say that he punched out ‘Cthulhu’, but keep in mind, that wiki site is a goldmine of humour and jokes, so it’s best not take to it too seriously.
Don't forget, in some universes, Optimus holds literal power of... er... being friendly, good, and wholesome enough that an eldritch chaos god is anaphylactic to him being near his spark. Yes, he does have to get very close, but Unicron was anaphylactic to his EXISTENCE... So much so that the knowledge of Unicron's first defeat by Optimus' proximity was recorded inside the Matrix of Leadership, with that wisdom giving the Matrix it's powers. @Mcandy78gaming The healing factor is built into each Prime as a basic ability, in addition to faster reflexes, and faster calculation times in robot mode and faster acceleration speed and braking times in vehicle mode. Abilities he actually had when he was first put online as Orion Pax without realising it. It is there, just not individually mentioned since it is listed as basic Prime abilities that many confuse for Matrix gifts, when they are not. The only Transformer to ever get those abilities without being a Prime, is Megatron, and he got those while as a gladiator, as he continuously won each bout he fought where he killed his opponent.
Hello, this is my first time viewing your videos and I have to say, well done. I absolutely agree w/your viewpoint on Optimus Prime and it just so happens that Optimus Prime is my absolute favorite Character. I grew up in a divorced household single Mon and three boys in a trailer in the mid '70's. I was 13 when the Transformers made their debut in '84 and w/out a Father to guide me into the responsibilities of adulthood....I found Optimus Prime. Now I hunt/prosecute criminals, I teach Combat and Survival and always w/ Optimus Prime in my head echoing the ideals of Peace, Justice, Self-sacrifice and Freedom. Optimus is w/out a doubt among the most powerful characters ever penned but even more powerful in the real world to have ordinary people fighting for the ideals Optimus embodies. Not completely accurate, but I can see where you were going with this. The difference is that Kryptonite (at least the green version as there are about a dozen different types) is always toxic to Kryptonians to some degree, but in Beast Wars it was the sheer amount of raw energon on the planet that would overload the systems of the Maximals and Predicons as it was literally "too much of a good thing". Now if someone could convert kyrptonite into a form of energon, that would be useful.

The thing we have to realize about the Transformers Universe is that despite being literally on the other side of the universe they have not only traveled across it but did so while basically starving as cybertron was not able to support their life anymore, they traveled across space and time while starving and without spaceship, shows just how insane they are as a species and how disgustingly broken that Optimus truly is.

Alternity is actually strongest incarnation of Optimus Prime by far as he transcends our reality. IDW Optimus strong, but even New 52 and Rebirth Superman (one of weaker) has levels of creation busting so I am not quite sure who would win between these 2. Matrix also has power to destroy evil, not directly more powerful beings so it will not work as well against Superman who is not evil.

Prime is powerful enough to beat whomever the writers want him to beat, but the Prime most people are familiar with (ie not IDW) was killed by Megatron*. He would be dismantled by Supeman in no time. *This applies both to the G1 Prime and Bay Prime.
While IDW Optimus is definetly a powerhouse, the feats pulled by his other counterparts, specifically Star Convoy from Battle Stars and Optimus Prime/Galaxy Convoy from Cybertron/Galaxy Force proof to be Super Robots in every sense of the words. In the Manga packed with Gen/selects toys, Star Convoy has to deal with multiple universal threats simultaneously, while Galaxy Convoy had to travel into a Black Hole that was powerful enough to destroy all of space and time everywhere. Sure, not the same level of power that other Super Robots like Shin Getter or Gurren Lagann get the moment they reach space, but still absolutely ridiculous.

IDW Prime has apparently driven off evil spirts all on his own, he has tangled with Nova Prime while he was in the Dead Universe and possessed enough power to destroy any of the "living" universes, and he was also able to crack Sixshot's armor despite the fact it was forged in a neutron star and was tough enough to casually shrug off any Earth explosive you could throw at him.

Unicron Trilogy, IDW Comics and Alternity: The Trinity for most powerful versions of Optimus Prime. That ain't a contest tbh. Unicron Trilogy is quite literally capable of soloing most Anime MCs and Verses on his own given some of his most absurd feats. IDW Comics is just broken even by Marvel and DC standarts with the shit he tanks and beats on a daily basis. Alternity is just stupidly broken, no cap. It's like making a Composite Optimus, and giving him 50 kinds of steroids and performance enchancing drugs, mixed with a Multiversal Singularity's worth of power. Also, a little feat correction: Shockwave was not powered solely by Ore-14. He was powered by all Ores he both created, and harvested. Basically he was a sentient Infinity Guantelet from the Comics, mixed with an Astral Regulator, powered by every universe and timeline that was, were and had yet to be.
The thing with Unicron Trilogy Optimus is that his full power is usually linked to someone else, whether that's a Mini-Con or fellow Autobot he powerlinks with (Sparkplug, Omega Supreme, etc). Even at the end of Transformers: Cybertron, where he held his own against a very OP Galvatron, he still needed Vector Prime's sword to win.

@Mcandy78gaming The healing factor is built into each Prime as a basic ability, in addition to faster reflexes, and faster calculation times in robot mode and faster acceleration speed and braking times in vehicle mode. Abilities he actually had when he was first put online as Orion Pax without realising it.
It is there, just not individually mentioned since it is listed as basic Prime abilities that many confuse for Matrix gifts, when they are not.
The only Transformer to ever get those abilities without being a Prime, is Megatron, and he got those while as a gladiator, as he continuously won each bout he fought where he killed his opponent.
The IDW Optimus is really interesting. Because not only was he chosen by the matrix, but also by the anti-matrix.

Hello, this is my first time viewing your videos and I have to say, well done. I absolutely agree w/your viewpoint on Optimus Prime and it just so happens that Optimus Prime is my absolute favorite Character. I grew up in a divorced household single Mon and three boys in a trailer in the mid '70's. I was 13 when the Transformers made their debut in '84 and w/out a Father to guide me into the responsibilities of adulthood....I found Optimus Prime. Now I hunt/prosecute criminals, I teach Combat and Survival and always w/ Optimus Prime in my head echoing the ideals of Peace, Justice, Self-sacrifice and Freedom. Optimus is w/out a doubt among the most powerful characters ever penned but even more powerful in the real world to have ordinary people fighting for the ideals Optimus embodies. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

Not completely accurate, but I can see where you were going with this. The difference is that Kryptonite (at least the green version as there are about a dozen different types) is always toxic to Kryptonians to some degree, but in Beast Wars it was the sheer amount of raw energon on the planet that would overload the systems of the Maximals and Predicons as it was literally "too much of a good thing". Now if someone could convert kyrptonite into a form of energon, that would be useful.

The thing we have to realize about the Transformers Universe is that despite being literally on the other side of the universe they have not only traveled across it but did so while basically starving as cybertron was not able to support their life anymore, they traveled across space and time while starving and without spaceship, shows just how insane they are as a species and how disgustingly broken that Optimus truly is.

Alternity is actually strongest incarnation of Optimus Prime by far as he transcends our reality. IDW Optimus strong, but even New 52 and Rebirth Superman (one of weaker) has levels of creation busting so I am not quite sure who would win between these 2.
Matrix also has power to destroy evil, not directly more powerful beings so it will not work as well against Superman who is not evil.

Prime is powerful enough to beat whomever the writers want him to beat, but the Prime most people are familiar with (ie not IDW) was killed by Megatron*. He would be dismantled by Supeman in no time.
*This applies both to the G1 Prime and Bay Prime.
While IDW Optimus is definetly a powerhouse, the feats pulled by his other counterparts, specifically Star Convoy from Battle Stars and Optimus Prime/Galaxy Convoy from Cybertron/Galaxy Force proof to be Super Robots in every sense of the words. In the Manga packed with Gen/selects toys, Star Convoy has to deal with multiple universal threats simultaneously, while Galaxy Convoy had to travel into a Black Hole that was powerful enough to destroy all of space and time everywhere. Sure, not the same level of power that other Super Robots like Shin Getter or Gurren Lagann get the moment they reach space, but still absolutely ridiculous.

IDW Prime has apparently driven off evil spirts all on his own, he has tangled with Nova Prime while he was in the Dead Universe and possessed enough power to destroy any of the "living" universes, and he was also able to crack Sixshot's armor despite the fact it was forged in a neutron star and was tough enough to casually shrug off any Earth explosive you could throw at him.

Unicron Trilogy is quite literally capable of soloing most Anime MCs and Verses on his own given some of his most absurd feats.
IDW Comics is just broken even by Marvel and DC standarts with the shit he tanks and beats on a daily basis.
Alternity is just stupidly broken, no cap. It's like making a Composite Optimus, and giving him 50 kinds of steroids and performance enchancing drugs, mixed with a Multiversal Singularity's worth of power.
Also, a little feat correction: Shockwave was not powered solely by Ore-14.
He was powered by all Ores he both created, and harvested. Basically he was a sentient Infinity Guantelet from the Comics, mixed with an Astral Regulator, powered by every universe and timeline that was, were and had yet to be.
The thing with Unicron Trilogy Optimus is that his full power is usually linked to someone else, whether that's a Mini-Con or fellow Autobot he powerlinks with (Sparkplug, Omega Supreme, etc). Even at the end of Transformers: Cybertron, where he held his own against a very OP Galvatron, he still needed Vector Prime's sword to win.
