one of my favorite examples of this is the forest battle and the warehouse rescue where he and the other autobots save the humans. it shows how highly skilled optimus prime is in hand-to-hand combat. one shot from his gun was enough to send Megatron flying through the window. like, really far. also the forest battle itself. the only reason he was ultimately killed is because he stopped long enough to check on Sam. he beat the living dog-shit out of 3 of the best decepticons, including Megatron, ALL BY HIMSELF. I'm convinced that he also would've killed Megatron in the process, considering how weak Megatron was in his new body. (although he did LOOK more threatening) and due to this weakness, prime was able to easily get in some good hits. he even managed to rip starscream's own arm off and bitch-slap him with it. (which i thought was the funniest part) and let's not forget that towards the end of the movie, he got his upgrades thank jetfire. he'd use them to not only blow up the star harvester, but also obliterate Megatron, almost killing him. (why he didn't finish Megatron off is beyond me) but simply watching prime beat Megatron senseless, and making him shoot himself in the face with his own cannon, before promptly ripping his arm off, firing his afterburners as cannons, sending him straight through a wall, was just glorious. oh, and he tossed the fallen around like a fucking ragdoll.
Yeah, especially when you hear Peter Cullen's voice uttering murderous lines that not even Megatron would say. It's true, after the first movie, if you just write down their lines and then read them out loud, you'd think Prime is the bad guy.
Honestly I can see why he's mad all the time he seen his brothers slaughtered, and seen innocent humans slaughtered. If that happened to me I wouldn't handle myself. I feel like this bayprime wants redemption It looks like it to, but he is to troubled.
Well when optimus prime promise he wouldn't hurt the humans he revoked that promise after cemetery wind slaughter his comrades and then been melted for man made transformer.
Not surprising. He's fought in several wars, lost many friends, including ironhide who was murdered by his father figure, was murdered once, nearly killed by his own mentor, watched his mentor turn evil, had to put his mentor down, was nearly murdered again by the humans he fought to defend and is indirectly responsible for his planet's destruction.
Plot armor is such a bullshit term because the writers will write the characters as they want to its their story that ur just following. There is no such a thing as plot armor in a fight anything can happen and anything the writer decided will happen is simply fact in that universe. Optimus literally beats every character 1v1. And only loses when he has to worry about humans.
After he killed Bonecrusher in the 1st movie and started looking around, I think it was implied that he was looking for more hostiles nearby instead of seeing if anyone saw him kill the deception.
He's a great rendition of the character that I feel doesn't get enough credit sometimes. He's been through quite a lot of hard ships and has had some brief moments of self reflection along the way. Interestingly enough, along with the rise of seemingly dangerous foes in each film comes more loss and pain for Prime. In Transformers 07, he lost Jazz who while not having a big role in the film acting as like the morale of the group and went out in a blaze of glory before being ripped apart by Megatron. This was also probably the only Transformers film where Prime was acting a little humorous with how he was constantly getting a little naggy with waiting for Sam to hand them the cube when they thought he had it. In Transformers 2, he died. Saving Sam, but failing to stop the progression of the Decepticons plot and rise to power. Then, he is brought back, but still in a weakened state until he merges with Jet Fire to gain a greater power than before and never will he fall so easily again. Then in T3, he brought back his master only to be betrayed by him and have one of his greatest allies Ironhide killed in the process. In T4, he and his kind are then hunted down by those he sought to protect, and one of his closet friends are killed and melted down for parts by humans to make their own "superior" Transformers. In the end, he avenges his fallen comrades in this "Age of Extinction" by killing the one human that deserved it, as well as his Cybertronian accomplice. And come TLK, he has some hope in humanity restored thanks to Kaid, but is tricked into betraying all of mankind and the Knights by Quintessa. In that moment he became his own worst enemy. He became just as desperate as his fallen master Sentinel and just as ruthless as his brother in arms Megatron. Only after he aids Kaid as The Last Knight does he find his redemption, and in return remnants of Cybertron collide with Earth, providing hope that one day the Transformer's home will be fully restored at last. It's a ruff journey, but through it all you can see why he has become so bloodthirsty. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing because through it all he people like Bumblebee, Kaid, Sam, etc. to remind him of why he fights in the first place.
Bro u r the only one who gets the point . They think like he is idiot. He is prime for reason . I know he is sometime bloodthirsty but he got reasons and sometimes u have to and he has taken most difficult decisions also. If I were him and had betrayed by my own ppl. I would have just shown hell to everyone on earth . There fight isn't something that started 4 or 5 days before but for eons and he is fighting even now and from start above that . They are machine but with emotion . He has fault like everyone . Ppl always says different things . If he has been soft then these ppl will make fault I to it also. Its ppl part time job to say things . I know he isn't upto the standard of same optimus prime that I admire . But he is optimus with more responsibilities and its live action type not some cartoon . So just think from his perspective and u will know . It's easy to judge with ur own understanding . But difficult when think from others understanding .
Honestly I really love the Michael Bay Optimus. Not just because I grew up with him but I feel like he's the most realistic and relatable Optimus that I've seen. Some of the other Optimus incarnations seem too nice, I don't mind that but it just doesn't really feel right. That's why I also like Transformers Prime Optimus because he has the combination of both Michael Bay's and the original Optimus personalities.
I liked Bumblebee's Optimus Prime because it was more realistic in the sense it's more true to the Transformers original G1 series. It's essentially a love letter to the fans
I wondered how Peter Cullen felt while recording the lines for this brutal version of prime, to my knolage in an interview for Age of extinction he said that some lines were hard to say... So that in mind i dont know if he deep down liked this incarnation of prime
From what I read he started questioning the writers in regards to Optmus' lines & why he's so brutal. Not sure if its true but I wouldn't be surprised if it is.
I think I remember hearing this before, and it honestly breaks my heart to think that his (I assume) first big character's name was sullied and dragged through the mud, damaged beyond recognition, and becoming pseunonymous with rage and destruction, a joke outside of the TF community, and a source of divide in the community. His name is indefinitely broken, and I can only hope that the reboot will piece him back together.
Avery Avery I really don’t mind this incarnation Optimus Prime, He’s different from the others & I’m okay with that, It was the 2007 Transformers Movie that Introduce me to the series, So in my opinion Optimus from the movies is the one I know best, The one from TF Prime is very Familiar too, & I like him too, So I hope we can Respect each other’s opinions, (Thank you for reading.)🙏
I'm sure he is not pleased with it...coz...I remember that peter cullen's inspiration for the voice of Optimus is...his brother who is a vietnam war veteran say's that "Be strong enough to be gentle"....not screaming and constantly yelling to show that there tough just like cliché characters in action movies :3
Man, among all the diferent designs of Optimus Prime, I must say the best one is from the 2007, 2008 films. Such a badass look with the blue and red flames. The truck was pretty too.
Yeah its a solid design that's gone on to influence other iterations of the character. I marked out when I saw the TF Prime Optimus was inspired after his movie counterpart.
Honestly I feel like this Optimus has PTSD due to these reasons he's seen brothers and sisters be slaughtered without mercy from the Decepticons causing him to be really emotional and angry most of the time causing him to think dangerously therefore I believe Optimus is stronger much stronger than perhaps even Megatron I'll stick to the Knightverse Optimus
Me personally....and maybe cause I developed more of a connection to the bay optimus cause I grew up with this version so I may be a bit Bias....but I think the bay optimus is the most life like, he's more relatable and being able to see these dark and sad Sides of him is what I love about this version rather than a leader that's always collected and always know what to do. I prefer it cause he expresses himself when he fights....has more meaning behind the action, meaning in terms of you can feel the energy behind it, the anger, the betrayal, the loss, the pain. I think he's the most realistic because hes the one that's actually broken down. Staying calm and collected when your best friend dies isn't a natural response to a situation, being betrayed by your mentor sentinel, the person who prime looked up to the same way the autobots look up to optimus. I think there's more to these films than meets the eye, it's just the execution of them that wasn't very great.
He's the one written most like a character. G1 Optimus was a flat and stoic board of a character meant for generic hero lines and messages of good morals to be taped onto. He had incredibly little in the vein of depth. A product of his time, because it was a cheap as balls 1980's toy commercial that had to release a 20 minute long episode weekly for at least 3 months per year. Though live action Optimus should have more military experience, and be better able to recognize plans and form battel strategies. Thing is though he rarely gets the chance, because often it's a matter of time scenario and fast action has to come first.
@@NexusProductions-rz1sv but I think at the end of the day we all bias to an extent, the bayformers optimus and the transformers prime optimus is my optimus ....all the rest I think their corny but someone else out there sees those version of him the same way I see mine. I don't like the g1 version of prime cause of the same reason as you, he's too stoic and has he's got he's shit together that there's not much character development space. He's like the new live action superman characters. A good person is not someone who can do no harm and that always does the right thing, a good person is someone that is constantly tryna tame their demons before they get too big that they hurt others. One day I wanna see a version of optimus where he's values are challenged and he does the right thing just as he's about to do the wrong thing like in TF4 when be said he was gonna kill the dude who invent those robots, I loved that scene.
This version of Optimus Prime is my favourite cause he is willing to do what's necessary to save lives including decapitating his nemesis or on killing spree on group of decepticons and still maintains his moral code
No, Optimus looked around to see any decepticons. How is he exactly ruining his "reputation", So you rather have bonecrusher killing humans instead of prime stopping him?
I mean this prime might be brutal but that makes him realistic. He’s been fighting for hundreds of years and that has to wear down on someone’s psyche eventually. He’s become angry and brutal from seeing countless friends die and even his best of friends die too the humans he sacrificed so much to protect. This prime has tons of characters and still stands as a great leader with some examples in the first movie where he’s willing to sacrifice himself to destroy the allspark and says that humans deserve to choose for themselves if they are to die, heck megatron even says that he fights for the weak. You can’t forget that one line he gave in ROTF when his back his too the wall and he’s told that if they sacrifice just one human it could save their species, but deep down he knows that they’ll never stop one and gives his life to take on 3 decepticons at once. Ba DOTM optimus chooses the lives of humanity over the option to save his home, and when sentinel calls him out about choosing humanity over his home he sticks to his morals of freedom is everyone’s right. AOE prime could’ve easily stayed hidden and allow the yaeger family to be killed but he decided to put himself in danger to save a group of people he just met, and he even goes out of his way to protect Cade when his life was in danger, and prime could’ve chosen to kill everyone in that lab but he chose not too, these people killed his soldiers and best friend but instead of killing everyone he left. Ok now the TLK I got nothing to say, that prime was just crazy murder But see this prime might be brutal but that’s just the way war is. He’s a realistic approach to the character and comes across like an old war general.
He's continuously beaten down. Hell AOE he had the worst of it. Humanity had turned on him, after he drive to protect them forced him to take so many lives, and they were now killing his own to melt into scrap.
Depends on the feats that has been shown. Optimus in the bayverse shows that he's able compete with opponents whose abilities match his -- Megatron, The Fallen, Sentinel Prime, Lockdown and Quintessa. Despite his weak spot on his backside, Optimus shows to be able to withstand high levels of plasma based energy from Megatron's Fusion Cannon, Quintessa's electricity, Shockwave's Cannon, etc. In terms of experience and skills, his fighting abilities are very effective and capable of delivering deadly attacks against his enemies. Optimus Prime unchecked is definitely a force to be reckoned with, the fact that he's able to take down opponents like Bumblebee (who most likely has more agility and speed) is impressive. Now when speaking about the new version in the Knightverse, he's very impressive in terms of his abilities to fight against high tier enemies like Soundwave or Shockwave. But, I'd have to agree that while reboot Optimus is a strong fighter, Bayverse Optimus has more options and experience in the movies that work in his favor. Also: I would like to note that in TF1, Optimus Prime actually has a couple of shots thrown at Megatron before getting overwhelmed
I think we need to see Bayverse Prime like a veteran who had enough to fight, he just here to protect humans and Autobots and he don’t care if he need to kill a Décepticons, if he need to do he do it and that all, he’s a Warrior, a soldier who do what he need to do, nothing more. That how I saw Optimus from Bayverse...
Prime is 1 of those rare leaders wherein he inspires his autobots both verbally and practically, a leader by word and example. His speeches inspire all, and his super aggressive almost reckless combat style makes him both feared and respected. Ol' boy just be like: "Aight. Imma wreck you all" casually but ever so brutally.
In my opinion, either the forest battle in ROTF or him rushing into battle in DOTM and AOE are Optimus’ greatest feats. They really show how strong and brave he truly is, taking out several waves of Decepticons in DOTM and corrupted drones in AOE, and skilled enough to hold his own against the likes of Megatron and 2 of his top-tier Decepticons.
@@chinhthehugger9284 and funny enough he would as megatron is half the man he is as his repairs are still not complete as his hands are trex arms and his two companions are fodder to prime and he exposed them for it big time and even worse for grindor
After the first movie… Optimus became completely unhinged realizing just how brutal the deceptions would be towards the people of Earth. Meaning he had to train harder than ever and become stronger in doing so… as we saw when he used his ion blaster and cleared the room out in 30 seconds. Completely dominating Megatron and Starscream only to dominate all 3 of them at once!
what's annoying is how everyone complains about Optimus being brutal in combat while ignoring the fact that literally everyone on both sides fights the exact same way. Bumblebee literally tore Ravage in half and used one half to beat another Decepticon he was fighting in ROTF
I like emotional prime, to me it shows that even though he’s the leader and people see him as “robot Jesus” he still has some flaws. Side note: all the autobots were brutal killing machines. Whenever they got to boxing 9/10 it resulted in some decepticon getting torn or blown apart. But Optimus is the poster child for brutality.
Bayverse Optimus is like a tired war veteran who just wants peace but the Decepticons just wont stop, making Prime go brutal in his combat, especially during AoE where the humans started to hunt the Autobots down which is probably where he cracked because of all the the sacrifice he put through to defend them. Also, he was most likely more merciful during the fight on Cybertron but became brutal when it came to fighting for Earth because he didn't want the humans to face the same fate, or pay for Cybertrons mistakes.
I can't say one is stronger than the other, but I love seeing these characters typically portrayed as noble (Optimus, Superman, Captain America, Batman) have these righteous fury adaptations where they're angry, ruthless, and efficient.
I think he is a tank in both aspects He is definitely stronger strength wise but i think spiritually he is good because if he was to show mercy it would be a character flaw I think bay just portrayed him as ruthless
Oh man I wish I seen this 2 years ago so I could be in the running for that prize . But I'm glad I found it now. The best TF channel that I have seen. Love the videos
I tell you, I have recently fallen hard for the live action transformers movies for no reason. I loved them a lot when I was younger (as they were coming out) but now, I am obsessed.
I think the reason he couldn't fight Megatron to the fullest in the first film was because there were civilians He's shown battling him 1v1 but receiving a lot of attacks not to damage buildings and else Had it not been in a city the fight would have probably been more even At least I think it would be because of RotF
This surprises me, that there is a large community of Michael Bay transformers fans! It's not my favorite, but I like that fans don't stop liking what they like after so many toxic opinions are around something. Like how I do with the star wars prequels! :D
I always imagined the bayverse prime as being broken by millenia of war, where he lost many friends, was betrayed by the one he would have called a brother and on earth was betrayed by his father figure and the humans he swore to protect. Additionally he didn't have the Matrix of Leadership until he was already on earth, so the wisdom of all primes couldn't have helped him (not that there was much wisdom to gain from these guys).
The decepticons felt like a threat in TF1 and TF2 but after that they felt like punching bags. So maybe thats why he seems so op now. Remember in TF1 when literally the entire team of autobots retreated when Megatron came to the city? Nowadays movie they all can stand their ground against him
Things I like about Optimus in bayverse #1 - COOL LOOKS #2 - AMAZING FIGHTING SKILLS #3 - HIS ENTRY IN EVERY FROM FIGHT #4 - HIS SPEECH AT THE END OF THE MOVIE #5 - HIS VOICE !
I feel like this Optimus should have been like with how Armada's was toward the end. Unicron/Sideways tells Prime that he secretly loves battle and I think if the films had Megatron say Prime is now just like him, cruel and ruthless, and enjoys battle as much as he does, it would have brought some complexity to Prime and make him reevaluate himself. I do like the idea of a war torn, PTSD like Optimus Prime, but he's too impulsive and angry and feels more like a villain sometimes.
Even if he did it wouldn’t make sense because dark of the moon shows how they not the same megatron throws away cybertrons revival by stopping sentinal from killing optimus because he was scared sentinal would take his place as leader while optimus was ready to give up leader ship immediately to sentinal because he seen him more fit to lead the autobots before the betrayal so the two are not the same megatron is egotistical while optimus is humble
its hard to say at this point who is stronger, we have seen Bay Prime kick some serious ass, but to be fair the new Prime did take on like 100 bots, some of them being heavy hitters... hope we see more of Reboot Prime to get a clearer picture. amazing vid as always dude. keep up the great work
@@RandomBlackGamer i hope the next movie they make isnt as much Bee focused and spends a bit more time with Prime.. the only movie to really give us some Prime time was AOE.
ZEADPOOL1991 I did hear a few months ago that one of the original ideas for the Bumblebee sequel was to be a buddy-cop-style movie focused on both Prime and Bee. So hopefully we see reboot Prime be as wise and respectful as G1, but as badass and strong as Bayverse Prime.
In terms of who would win in a fight, I'd put my money on Bay Optimus, but it would be a very hard battle for both sides, and Knightverse Optimus CAN win. Here's the biggest reason why i'm betting on Bayverse Prime. Knight-verse Optimus is 18 feet tall. Bayverse Optimus is as you said is a WHOPPING 30 FEET TALL, he's even a full six feet taller than Knightverse Megatron who is confirmed to stand at 24 feet high.
Bay Transformers movies are just a reason to string along a bunch of cool robot fight scenes. The stories don't matter at all, but I have no shame in admitting that the fights in them make the 12 year old in me drop my jaw in amazement.
I mean, he kills basically anyone in his line of sight that ISN'T an Autobot. He has a whole bunch of weapons he can pull out and has been shown taking down opponents much larger than himself. He's pretty damn strong.
For Bay's Optimus Prime is really strong, in the transformers 2, it took 3 top Decepticons to fight and kill him when he was off guard looking for Sam. For him being brutal, I kind back him on that given what he's been through. If I were in his shoes, I would have done same or even worse.
Bumblebee technically being a "reboot" doesn't mean that we now have "two" Optimus Prime, because it's still the same Optimus Prime, Bumblebee merely takes place before the first Transformers movie on the same timeline.
@@ironwez20 No, it's not been "confirmed to be a reboot" at all, that's just a myth being thrown around and it stems from Hasbro describing a "new storytelling universe" which could simply mean a new way of telling these stories in this universe and may even refer to the planned cinematic universe with other Hasbro titles. The film has been marketed and designed to be a prequel ever since day one and it shows very clearly.
Well, if Reboot is more like G1 Optimus when it comes to physical strength, I’d say he’s got Bay Optimus beat. Especially when you consider that one of G1 Optimus’ earliest feats of strength was to lift and throw a fully loaded, sunken Oil Tanker at Megatron in the ‘The Transformers’ Season One Finale - ‘A Plague of Insecticons’.

Well said.
M.A.K. Dynasty I personally like it. It reflects on the toll war could have on someone.
Yeah this version is more realistic take
Bro u r the only one who gets the point .
Finally someone gets it
Honestly I really love the Michael Bay Optimus.
Yes!!!!
I actually likes bayverse optimus prime design more than g1
I love all the designs of optimus but ya i do have to agree that the bayformers style looks really cool and badass
G1 and bayverse are my favorite
I agree. I like my complex shape shifting alien robots to look like complex shape shifting alien robots and not like guys wearing cardboard box suits.
@@EviltheNub yeah more realism
Avery Avery
I really don’t mind this incarnation Optimus Prime,
He’s different from the others & I’m okay with that,
It was the 2007 Transformers Movie that Introduce me to the series,
So in my opinion Optimus from the movies is the one I know best,
The one from TF Prime is very Familiar too, & I like him too,
So I hope we can Respect each other’s opinions,
(Thank you for reading.)🙏
I'm sure he is not pleased with it...coz...I remember that peter cullen's inspiration for the voice of Optimus is...his brother who is a vietnam war veteran say's that "Be strong enough to be gentle"....not screaming and constantly yelling to show that there tough just like cliché characters in action movies :3
I really want the bayverse to return please in late 2020 or 2021. But I looked up Transformers 6 and there's news about it.
I like the age of extinction design more.
@@RandomBlackGamer TFP Optimus is very underrated tho
@@mithunm8266 how is he underrated?
I love age of extinction one but the upgraded optimus from tfp is superior
I think people underrate michael’s designs of Optimus
It's mostly g1 fans who get triggered whenever something isn't g1
@In my Jamm well the g1 designs aren't ugly but they definitely aren't realistic or complex
Actually Optimus in Transformers Armada and Transformers Cybertron (old Japanese Transformers) are the best looking Optimus to me
Agreed
SAAAAAMEEE!
I’ve always wondered how in battle form, they’re all scratched up and shit. But in vehicle form they’re all pristine like.
Decepticons:
Bayverse Optimus Prime: "Peace was never an option"
“Always has been.“- Optimus Prime
Honestly I feel like this Optimus has PTSD due to these reasons he's seen brothers and sisters be slaughtered without mercy from the Decepticons causing him to be really emotional and angry most of the time causing him to think dangerously therefore I believe Optimus is stronger much stronger than perhaps even Megatron
I'll stick to the Knightverse Optimus
Decepticons: Exist
Bay Optimus: So anyways, I started B L A S T I N G
G1 Optimus: Is nice
Also Bayverse prime: I will fight anyone, who stands in my way...
Nemesis Prime said that, but ok...
How is he nice?
Me personally....and maybe cause I developed more of a connection to the bay optimus cause I grew up with this version so I may be a bit Bias....but I think the bay optimus is the most life like, he's more relatable and being able to see these dark and sad
Sides of him is what I love about this version rather than a leader that's always collected and always know what to do.
TRUE
He's the one written most like a character. G1 Optimus was a flat and stoic board of a character meant for generic hero lines and messages of good morals to be taped onto. He had incredibly little in the vein of depth. A product of his time, because it was a cheap as balls 1980's toy commercial that had to release a 20 minute long episode weekly for at least 3 months per year.
Though live action Optimus should have more military experience, and be better able to recognize plans and form battel strategies. Thing is though he rarely gets the chance, because often it's a matter of time scenario and fast action has to come first.
@@NexusProductions-rz1sv exactly my dude
Every single final battle is just optimus going "fuck it, imma win"
This version of Optimus Prime is my favourite cause he is willing to do what's necessary to save lives including decapitating his nemesis or on killing spree on group of decepticons and still maintains his moral code
He wasn't looking around after killing Bonecrusher because "he ruined his reputation", he was clearly making sure no human seen him.
Lol he was still looking to see if anyone was looking.
@@RandomBlackGamer I always think he was looking around to make sure no other decepticons are alive anymore
That kid and his mom did though😂
I'm think he looked around to see if there were other Decepticons around to ambush him
No, Optimus looked around to see any decepticons.
Ok now the TLK I got nothing to say, that prime was just crazy murder
But see this prime might be brutal but that’s just the way war is. He’s a realistic approach to the character and comes across like an old war general.
Thank you, finally someone gets Optimus.
@@jimhershey5487 not the real Optimus
Babe, for most of TLK, he was brainwashed by Quintessa
I don't care what anyone says.
I love Michael Bay's Transformers,
I love Optimus Prime
And I am so excited for MORE
8:39,2014:Yeah ,he's on our side
2017:We're doomed
Lmao
I love how in every Transformers movie Optimus becomes more and more ruthless
Couldn't have said it better myself. As a matter of fact I wish I mentioned the fight with Bee in terms of his speed.
Bay optimus did easily handle 3 of the strongest decepticons at the same time, only losing due to having to make sure sam was still okay
I read it somewhere that he would have had them in the forest battle if Sam werent there
@@chinhthehugger9284 and funny enough he would as megatron is half the man he is as his repairs are still not complete as his hands are trex arms and his two companions are fodder to prime and he exposed them for it big time and even worse for grindor

Optimus will always be my favorite! He's so cool!
agree
@Optimus Prime :)
So powerful that the moment he steps on the floor, the Bay explosions begin to trigger around him.
Respect for using the ROTF Console game music. That game was honestly such an underrated movie game.
what's annoying is how everyone complains about Optimus being brutal in combat while ignoring the fact that literally everyone on both sides fights the exact same way. Bumblebee literally tore Ravage in half and used one half to beat another Decepticon he was fighting in ROTF
That said, RBG made a great point of showing how emotional he is while executing enemies.
@@eyywannn8601 yeah which is why I enjoy Bay Optimus much more than most other versions
Correction he ripped ravages spine and used it as a whip
@@theguyfromtsukihime3898 that's not a correction
@@557deadpool how rewatch the scene
My favorite Optimus Prime moment is when he says "It's Primin' time" before Priming all the deceptions including Megatron with the Matrix
I can't say one is stronger than the other, but I love seeing these characters typically portrayed as noble (Optimus, Superman, Captain America, Batman) have these righteous fury adaptations where they're angry, ruthless, and efficient.
Physically he is strong, but spiritually weak.
Bay just wanted a cool robot to kill everything as revenge against fanboys who ridicule him online.
Now this is a good way of describing him.
@@RandomBlackGamer I wouldnt say weak. Hes just a veteran thats fought for eons. He actually maintains his composure outside of battle pretty well.
@@griffinpeterson6097 Yeah I can see it from that perspective. I just feel he should be composed during combat.
@@RandomBlackGamer you do hsve a point. After millions of years of fighting and leading, he should be less of a hot head

Optimus: slaughters thousands of decepticons
Also optimus: almost lost my cool there
To be honest I like how optimus looks in transformers 1,2, and 3
I tell you, I have recently fallen hard for the live action transformers movies for no reason. I loved them a lot when I was younger (as they were coming out) but now, I am obsessed.
That's so awesome.
when i was a kid i always assumed that optimus was this old man with an awful past
i saw him as logan but less depressed basically
I think the reason he couldn't fight Megatron to the fullest in the first film was because there were civilians
He's shown battling him 1v1 but receiving a lot of attacks not to damage buildings and else
Had it not been in a city the fight would have probably been more even
At least I think it would be because of RotF
This surprises me, that there is a large community of Michael Bay transformers fans! It's not my favorite, but I like that fans don't stop liking what they like after so many toxic opinions are around something. Like how I do with the star wars prequels! :D
Looks like Optimus had a "face-off" with the Fallen
Lol
😂😭
I've heard that the flames are because pure red coloring didn't work well with the cameras at the time, idk how true that is though
Supposedly the prime from the cybertrom games is suppose to be the bayverse prime so I could definitely agree with what you're saying
@@redcrusader701 what are you talking about
The decepticons felt like a threat in TF1 and TF2 but after that they felt like punching bags. So maybe thats why he seems so op now.
Remember in TF1 when literally the entire team of autobots retreated when Megatron came to the city? Nowadays movie they all can stand their ground against him
Thank you for getting Primes height correct! 👏🏻👏🏻
Bay optimus is really doing everything just to stop the desepticons, no matter what the cost literally, that's why he's strong

#3 - HIS ENTRY IN EVERY FROM FIGHT
#4 - HIS SPEECH AT THE END OF THE MOVIE
#5 - HIS VOICE !

Not even a fan of transformers or the series.
But Optimus Prime has been a hell awesome character to watch and hear. Great warrior indeed.
I love the original Bay Optimus Prime. He is by far the best looking version of the character.
its hard to say at this point who is stronger, we have seen Bay Prime kick some serious ass, but to be fair the new Prime did take on like 100 bots, some of them being heavy hitters... hope we see more of Reboot Prime to get a clearer picture.

I did hear a few months ago that one of the original ideas for the Bumblebee sequel was to be a buddy-cop-style movie focused on both Prime and Bee. So hopefully we see reboot Prime be as wise and respectful as G1, but as badass and strong as Bayverse Prime.
Don’t forget Prime take Grindor + upgrade Meg + Starscream on fight when he was hurt and he just loose because scenarium
I really want to see that reboot prime kill his enemies
Just imagine the rampage bay prime would go on if he found out bee got killed by KSI or Soundwave in the execution scene in Tf3
Bay's Prime is exactly how he is. A badass Autobot 😎
You should do “How strong is Bay’s Bumblebee” since Bumblebee is basically the hardcore badass in the franchise
You know I never have looked at Bay optimus weakness but now that Random pointed it out this makes me see optimus in a whole new view thank you
Optimus has created mass genocide across 5 films 😭
Dude's got some serious energon on his hands.
Megatron started it.
I mean, he kills basically anyone in his line of sight that ISN'T an Autobot. He has a whole bunch of weapons he can pull out and has been shown taking down opponents much larger than himself.
He's pretty damn strong.
The bay verse Optimus seems like he’s more human by the way he’s adapted to everything that’s happened
Whatever version he is, he's still Prime!
Transformers 5: *Exist*
Shockwave: die killed by a parachute.
Michael bay must be stopped
You got the touch
Through out the movies, Prime becomes consistently stronger and definitely deadlier.
For Bay's Optimus Prime is really strong, in the transformers 2, it took 3 top Decepticons to fight and kill him when he was off guard looking for Sam. For him being brutal, I kind back him on that given what he's been through. If I were in his shoes, I would have done same or even worse.
Have always loved Michael Bay's Optimus look since the original Transformers so sweet with the face guard
Yeah his face guard has gone on to inspire other versions of the character
Bay Optimus is very strong, but you're right about his emotional instability. G1 Prime 4life!
A movie centered on Cybertron would be amazing
Bumblebee technically being a "reboot" doesn't mean that we now have "two" Optimus Prime, because it's still the same Optimus Prime, Bumblebee merely takes place before the first Transformers movie on the same timeline.
nope
Makes sense
No it doesn’t it’s a reboot. Already confirmed
@@jeffsterc1657 Yes.
I'm down for some blue ray, keep up the great vids dude!
