- Gonna be honest, I had mixed feelings on this one. Sad that Okayu doesn't want to live with Korone, but happy at the same time that she understands Korone needs space and alone time in order to be at her best.

But that’s not important. Your main point is that it doesn’t apply to people (if it’s not your main point I don’t care, as that is what I’m addressing) and point was that it dose apply to people. So I don’t think you understood my comment, which was shown in you dismissing my entire thing and not talking about a single one of my points (which I addressed all of yours (only your arguments) showing that someone did indeed not understand the others comment)
@@GiantMushrooms You'd be correct, but on one condition; if you take the term opposite as having nothing in common. If that was the case then yes you'd be correct. But that's the problem with your statement; that there's a condition to it. Human behavior and psychology isn't just black or white. It isn't as easy as yes or no and the best answer would be that it's complicated as having certain opposite views from each other still doesn't make you more prone to argument than those who have more in common and having similar traits does not necessary mean that the relationship will be any better off either. As I've said it's not so easy.
There ARE ways to make it work and certain opposition CAN compliment each other and make the relationship more stable, in fact. Most of the time healthy relationship do best when there's a balance of similarities and differences. Plus, romantic or not? Relationships aren't about differences and similarities. It's about communication, and if you disagree on something there will always be some sort of compromise. So, you're not wrong about that, but neither are you correct about it. It's all about how healthy the relationship is and how they work it out, not about the differences.
If I hang out with people for a day, Ima need a week to recharge by myself.

That is so fucking relatable and I had to learn that lesson the hard way back when I was in college. I value my alone time too much to have room mates.
First time I moved out, I was someone who was mildly extroverted but absolutely needs their alone time each day who moved in with a good friend who was extremely sociable and couldn't handle being alone for very long. Took me over a year to finally adapt

Back when I lived with my ex, we each had our own rooms for that reason, if someone wanted to hole in their room for a while the other person would just accept pretty much, it worked decently well.
I moved out and lived on my own for a while and then I met my girlfriend who lives close to my house.
Basically she crashed into my place so much she's basically living here so I got used to the presence.
She died recently, and it's all alone time again. So yeah value your alone time, people. You never know when you won't miss it anymore.

As an introvert I completely relate to Korone. If I don't have a good amount of alone time to recharge my social batteries I just can't handle being around others for too long even if they're my family or best friends. Sasuga Okayu for being such a considerate friend.
Living with someone doesn't imply that you can't have time alone, I don't understand that statement.
And I'm an introvert myself, who needs time alone. I just manage it.
@@guillaumegalienne6351 Well some people can't manage it, or just prefer to live alone, or have other issues like just being anxious around people all the time even if they aren't in the same room. It's different for everyone.

Same here. I can convert myself into extrovert for few hours ONLY if I can get to spend some time in private later on. Otherwise I go completely out of juice.

I guess that's one of the reasons why Korone has so much energy to spare. She probably saves a lot of it during her alone time then spends it all either on stream or on her friends.
I think it's the other way around.
I think she's able to be streaming for so long because to her, streaming is not that different from her alone time. I can't say this for sure of course, but there's people who have an easier time speaking to a camera than having a direct conversation with someone else (Or by call, for that matter). You can see this especially in older collabs, where she used to be a lot more shy with other members than what she was when streaming alone. This has become less evident with time, Korone has grown a lot as a person up till now and that's cool.

I think that they did live together for a short time as something temporary, but cant find where I learnt that.

Imagine being so in tuned with your lover that you instinctively understand how emotional capacities. Despite being the clingy one, Okayu naturally respects Korosan's private time and space. True wife goals, right there
It's genuinely hard to find someone who gets it. Every single relationship I've been in, I've kind of dreaded. Even when my need for alone time didn't destroy a relationship, it always made things feel claustrophobic.
Being neighbors seems like an easy solution. Hopefully they can find two houses next door to each other and buy them at some point (should be easy considering how well they're doing). That way they can do what they like and still have that separate time.
Sometimes I forget that they were friends even before Hololive.

There is a simple solution here called being neighbours, then alone time can be achieved, but you also basically live in the same place so you can always visit and stay over all you want.
Yeah it's hard to be neighbours now unless korone moves together so that's why okayu moved near her instead

That's true friendship right there. She understands her friend better than she understands herself, so even though she'd enjoy living with Korone, she knows it wouldn't be the best thing for her friend. I wish we all had a friend like Okayu in our lives.

I lived with a friend for a very short time and I absolutely realized then that I just can't live with other people.
I shared home with a very old friend of mine and it was horrible, I was SO glad she left 6 months later. Sometimes the best friends just cant be too much time together or get too everyday close.

Same here. I go visit my best friend whenever I can (we unfortunately live on opposite sides of the county, so I can’t see him much), but after spending a couple days over there, I inevitably start getting pissy and tired and know it’s time to go back home. I wish I had more energy to spend with loved ones, but I’m just too introverted to spend much time with anybody.
ive lived with all of my friends( a big fat 4 of them) and only my non-blood-borther was able to handle me
all the others said i was the best roomates when it comes to rent payement and established task
but once those are done, im especialy difficult to live with

I recall that Noel and Flare (in an interview with Tamaki I think?) said that they don't want to move in together out of fear that they would not stand how each other behaves at home (housekeeping etc.). _Noel and Flare_ out of all people, the ones with platinum engagement rings with their names engraved. So yeah, don't read too much into this.
Also as somebody who's living with another person in a single room place in the middle of quarantine right now, I can definitely see what Okayu is talking about. The lack of solo time to do things in private drives me nuts to the point of killing whatever little productivity I have left, moving in with somebody else when you can't guarantee room for each's own personal spaces is an awful idea.

I agree with Korone. Having a roommate or living with someone in general can be socially/emotionally draining, especially if both of you spend most of the time at home. I finally managed to get a place without any roommates after a considerable amount of time and it is very fulfilling to have lots of alone time

I probably just wasn’t noticing it but most of the time I’m pretty neutral that sometimes I come off as being cold w/ my choice of words when talking to friends on chat, but when they actually visit I get more considerate and I care too much about them, I guess it’s just natural for us to treat our visitors that way, but the interesting part is sometimes we don’t notice those changes 🤣 so living together with friends let alone having them come over everyday would definitely be exhausting for me 😅

I can relate a bit. I use up all my. Friendly energy at work during the that by the end of it. The moment I walk out those doors to go home I don’t say a single word lol and just enjoy to be left a lot the rest of the night till morning. Than it repeats and I do the same thing but it gets tiring to always be around people. After a while some alone time is needed.

If Korone wanted to move in with me, (preferably without the language barrier though we could always learn each other’s tongues together) I’d happily let her, as while I’m quite introverted, there’s plenty of times I actually need someone like her around (nationality and all) for company, as the people I do live with I ultimately don’t trust on that level. I ain’t kidding either, especially as my medication doesn’t work.
Hell, I’d accept both of them as I care for Okayu too.

We all need our breathing room. Both figuratively and literally. Probably the main reason why so many relationships, especially marriages, go sour to start. Love these two for getting it.

As a person who needs a ton of alone time, so long as okayu understands and never imposes (and demands her own alone time) it could work.
Super relatable though, I'm generally nice to people when I'm around them but I get super drained
