Seriously tho, Korone and Okayu pulled it off in the end, but Botan was on fire during this collab.
I hid the imposters' povs and kills to keep the suspense up, if you haven't already watched the streams.
Featuring: Fubuki, Kanata, Marine, Miko, Mia, and Shion as well.

For those of you that remember my first Among Us video, when I was still only 2-3 weeks into subtitling and making youtube videos, this was a test of sorts for myself, as cheesy as that sounds. I remember being intimidated by multiple Pov's, and trying to translate more than 3 people at a time, and now I feel much more confident tackling such projects.

#1 moment on the entire stream, and considering that every other moment in the top 10 is from Marine's POV and everyone playing were the stars of at least one of them, but the winning pair landed the funniest joke in the final seconds of the round, this is something like a perfect Among Us stream for this group. Like, no one could have written a script this good

Hey, sometimes even your best shot sucks.
That was actually only on Okayu's screen I believe, which is why the discussion was so weird.
In every other POV, Okayu was locked with Marine in the room.
@@cockroaches5083j We see Korone's POV in this clip too, Okayu was outside but directly in front of the door picking the lock so her character is very obscured but for her nametag, which could at a glance reasonably be misinterpreted as her being in the room.
Marine could have pulled off this one if she suspected Okayu saying: "But I saw you locked inside with us!" Then Korone wouldn't believe Okayu, because she didn't saw her outside.
Still not as bad as the imposter that vented in front of Roberu.

I'm surprised she got that far.
Well no one actually suspected her during meetings until quite later on, since so far she literally had 0% impostor rate on stream.
Her defenses early were good tho. She was with korone for awhile there. Korone just didn't see her. She was attempting to trick korone into trusting her. Thats a very smart play.
The thing is. She could've easily won the game if she locked those doors earlier. Leaving Okayu in as well. But thats kinda luck based.
I apologize for my comment, I was talking about the game from the perspective of an experienced player.
To be fair they're all new to the game and all they're currently dishing out is their own brain deduction power without the exploits and timings and everything.
And the round 1 I was talking about was the 1st voting round.

In most games the impostors have a longer line of sight than crew mates; so if one person claims to have been able to keep eyes on another, but the latter having not seen the former? Instant sus. That play by Marine was the moment where I would have started pressing her about being able to see Korone when Korone didn't see her.

@BARRATT MEYER - STUDENT The whole "killing themselves at the end" thing kinda put a damper on things as well too... Poor communication kills... literally in that case.
It’s really interesting watching people from japan playing, where socially everyone is a lot more polite and it’s rude to be too directly accusatory, so even in situations like the last one at the end where Okayu had Marine dead to rights, there was still some hemming and hawing, but in the west no one hesitates to pull the trigger on someone even just stopping for a second in an odd way
watching it from Korone's standpoint it was hard to see what happened but Okayu should have seen it, yeah. It's possible she missed it though, I've just not been paying attention to the right part of the screen when stuff happened before
@@SavageGreywolf Okayu actually brought it up later, saying that Korone acts more suspicious as a crew member than as an imposter, so she wasn’t really sure what she saw/what happened, and that it was stressful because that vote determined the game, and Korone’s final words struck fear into her heart, it’s a really funny clip if you can find it

True. But from their point of view, they were focus on thw doors to unlock.
Korone had a few seconds to see and probably didn't notice as her cat wife mention she didn't exactly see who was outside with her.
Not to mention Marine did come up with a decent defense that can case doubt on each other.
Add on to the pressure to be right with the limited time they have, they could have easily been wrong.

Not only that but in Korone and Marine's POV, Okayu WAS locked in electrical with Marine and Botan
but in Okayu's POV, she was out with Korone, so Okayu could vouch that she was out of Elec with Korone while the murdered happened, Korone is none the wiser (Korone isnt smart so she makes everything chaotic), and Marine has a stable defence for why Okayu could've been impostor, (since there would've been doubt on Okayu since Fubuki died right after they split apart
Unfortunately, Korone is forgetful and dumb, so Marine's vouches fall on deaf ears

It's also worth watching Mio's perspective of this match, the way she killed Miko and FBK in quick succession is as you'd expect from a wolf, but she was panicking and apologising the whole time. That's our Mama Mio, so nice that being an imposter stresses her out.
Okayu opened up the panel at the worst possible time. It's still strange that she couldn't connect the dots right away when Marine was on top of a dead Botan.
This game is sad because i was watching Mio and she could have killed Botan and won
yeah they're not yet that smart as a collective when playing this game , but that's where the fun is.
True Mio didn't keep count and didn't know they were one kill away but she wanted a double.
mio also uses only mouse to play so it's harder for her

This game gets into your head, you start to doubt everything, even when you saw someone stabbing fellow crewmate. Besides, who'd you suspect more for being serial killer - poor Marine or Yubi Korone XD ?

The biggest Among us killer of all, the mighty desync strikes again. We saw on Korone's screen Okayu was clearly still in electrical when the doors closed but on Okayu's screen she had gotten outside the doors before they shut. No idea how it all looked from Botan or Marine's POV.

Honestly, closing the door on 3 people to get a kill and accusing the remaining one was a brilliant move by Marine, I'm impressed.
It's a shame she accused Korone instead of Okayu, who looked like she was with them where the murder happened. I'm not sure Korone would have believed Marine and voted Okayu off, but Korone knows better than everyone how much of a smooth-talker Okayu is so it could have put some serious doubt into her.

After watching people like 5up, hafu, and Toast play this game, I'm honestly really enjoying the less sweaty/less complex atmosphere of these games, it feels a lot more casual and fun like a typical friend group playing.
Botan is the real MVP here, she's really smart/or just good at this game. Apex predator of Hololive JP ending careers even as a crewmate.
