To be fair, at debut she put a lot of emphasis on her bad habits, so that's how most people got to know her. But she both has more interesting facets than that and improved a lot on those aspects.

Yeah she is and i do but it’s hard to keep up with her content if you do not speak japanese. I think that is totally fine and she seems to be doing quite well without branching out to the EN audience.

In many ways it can be better to learn a language from a non-native speaker. They had to learn it themselves and are more actively aware of its aspects - especially irregularities or unique rules, which may simply never occur as odd to native speakers.

This video is confusing to me like how Raden's voice flavor and her vtuber model's flavor is so contrasting like I watch the whole video and I'm still asking myself "is that voice coming from Kiara or Raden?" This might be because it's my first time for me to watch a clip of her since all I'm watching is Advent, Promise or nowadays Justice so yeah it's kinda new to me.

As someone who has no idea who these two are I can't help but notice one thing: Their voices sound so switched. The one on the left looks like she should have a deeper and calmer voice while the one on the right looks like she would have a happy upbeat voice.

I get this. Having several cousins have since migrated over to the States, their English tends to be more formal and while they can’t always pick up some of my native nuances - in turn they recall more of the bones of the language that I’ve long since forgotten as I’ve just internalized it all… they can teach each other the basics while I teach them subtleties.

1:35 its rly true, its one of the reasons i watch mostly Kiara(beside she played games i liked and has a open and funny personality). My english is fine i think but i have problems with accents and when speaken to fast and using words that are harder to understand.

It's better to learn a language from someone who had to learn it themselves (unless they are a qualified teacher or have studied their own language academically). Native speakers don't have to 'learn' their language, so they often have no idea about the quirks of the language that trip up learners, and can't answer most questions about rules or grammar because they've never had to learn them.

Raden, growing up in Japan. Kiara, being a weeb and studying real hard. Except for her motivation, Kiara is nothing special, if she could do it, so can you if you dedicate yourself to learning.

I wonder if being ESL can make you a better English teacher since you were aware of how you learned it.
Quite plausibly, since you don't take all the weird idiosyncrasies of the language - which is basically a creole when you get down to the brass tacks - as a given.
That doesn't matter. Any advantage you gain over a native (being aware of how you learned it etc.) is easily diminished by you not being a superhigh level like a native is.

Never mind now that's not even how it works. "Education" is an umbrella term that covers _any_ number of fields that have _el zippo nada_ to do with fluency with one's native language - and can conceivably actually be counterproductive for that if they involve extensive usage of technical/professional jargon in a _foreign_ one. The marketing/business types 'round my neck of the woods certainly are prone to lapsing into bastardized pidgin English for ex and sometimes seem all but incapable of talking purely in their native Finnish or Swedish.
To be fair, as a native English speaker it is hard for me to even tell that Kiara has a German accent. I just assumed she was American until I learned of her origin.
