For those curious: Maka Maka is an infamously weird poorly-made JRPG for the Super Famicom. Even by Japanese standards, it’s an absolute drug trip of a game.
I think it's awesome that Korone goes out of her way sometimes to interact with English viewers even though she doesn't have to. It's really nice of her.

I don't think I'm helping to say any of this, but I felt like saying it anyways: The L in "later" and the R in "rock" are pretty common linguistically, but East Asian languages don't see them as being as distinct as Indo-European languages do. They're not particularly hard sounds to learn to pronounce, but English education in Japan is notoriously poor for a country that does so well otherwise; I just don't think they get properly taught them in school by trained professionals. Not to flame too hard, but it's an unusually poorly-run system. Fun fact: the L in "bull" and the R in "fur" are much more rare sounds. Even most Western languages lack them, so that "urrrrr" sound is kinda the last step to getting an American accent down for foreign speakers, should they be looking to do so. It doesn't even show up in English much in England!

She gets cuter and cuter every time she speaks her broken English, I love it. She puts effort into trying to speak this confusing language that not even native English speakers can do properly, and I love that about her

A while later, I found an incomplete play-through here on TH-cam when I decided to look it up on a whim. I also learned more about it on tvtropes(Particularly it's troubled development).
