    Please send all your medical questions, so I can ask the doctors when I sit with them again.
    We can then go through all your questions.
    Shoutout to Dr Essa and Dr Matthews for being so passionate about their industry.

      Please ask them why they never emphasize the importance of healthy living/eating, this can eradicate probably a large amount of sicknesses. I would like to hear this from a Doc's perspective.

    This was a very good interview Pen, big salute to the gents for working in public hospitals and speaking on them and lastly for trying to ensure that Gents are helped from the comfort of their homes. i believe that will help reduce anger problems and other men related issues and translates to less child and women abuse in the country ... we definitely need that Women program as well so that we can all heal and meet each other half way

    Ehhe lubeluhle uhlelo. Sibonge zombili izinyanga.
    I believe we need more time and more engagements from professionals like these especially not celebrities. I agree with Dkt Mathews that its time unemployed medical doctors bavuka and realize that its the reality that there is now unemployment in their profession.
    My solution is that they must open their own clinics and market them get funding to operate. I know they will say but the regulations and licenses maybe they with government . This will go back to Dr S grandfather who also optimized being street smart. I mean Sangomaz graduate everday and operate many of them makes money and they not even registered in traditional healers organizations 😂😂😂

    Dr Suhayl Essa believes South Africa has the best doctors in the world, who work in horrible conditions with bad administration.
    He works in public healthcare, but he said he'd never use public healthcare... he doesn't trust the space he works in.
    That's really sad 💔

    • @mbekezelimooiman-ks4gr
      @mbekezelimooiman-ks4gr 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I doubt that that's the case. The scenario provided by Dr Matthew 57:38 reflects "empathy fatigue". I believe the healthcare workers have repeatedly been exposed to more black patients undergoing pain over extended periods of time than white patients undergoing the same exact pain. As a result, they've grown less empathetic towards black patients

    NHI will work with NHS in the UK everyone is taxed for its benefit by income level. It is also your choice to go to to a private hospital. This is so if you in an accident you are taken to a hospital and you receive the best help to the SA/UK standard which is meant to be really high. NHS england which will be NHI SA will have a list of procedures by cost and each month the finance depts for each region submit a list of procedures done and the hospitals are paid back. Procurement, payroll and pharmacy is controlled by administration at regional and national level. Elective procedures eg circumcisions or cosmetic stuff can still be done at private level but all life threatening stuff can be done by all hospitals. The training of all medical professionals is done engaged through NHS this plans. I have worked in the NhS they know the demand of medics for next 10 years. They engage universities and hospitals so they can train the doctors and nurses and help fund and improve level of knowledge. NHI is very possible the Elite hate it, even in the UK the Tories have ruined it by its the greated thing done in the UK.

    90% of ALL SAns rely on public healthcare.
    90% of all Black SAns rely on public healthcare.
    27% of all White SAns rely on public healthcare.
    Why inconvenience 10% of the uppity population instead of just fixing the healthcare system that services 90% of the population?
    Why do all govt employees not get forced to use public healthcare? Why do they get medical aid?

    • @richardohaletse7396
      @richardohaletse7396 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's what I always think about, public servants should be the ones using public services, their medical aid should be diverted to fund public health care. Things will gradually improve in that space.

  • @persistentcrusade
    @persistentcrusade 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Nah I don't believe this was explained well by our Dr's 😴😴SA has a budget allocation of 8.5% of our GDP which amounts to 580 billion of which 51% of that money goes to only 14% population of medical aid holder's & whopping 86% of poor has only 49% how can our public hospital meet the acceptable standards with such mediocre budget. The WHO recommends anything above 5% of GDP is a good allocation budget. SA can't always pputting the poor on the sidelines NHI is good

      @@Penuelism Pen! I just noticed something - its apparent that medical aid patients are usually kept sick or on pills that cause illnesses at a later stage because of the money they bring in by paying for medical aid - that's crazy. Please ask the doctors on your next conversion, just what they think about that
