First off, cosmetically, this bike looks like it has a NASCAR inspired roll cage constructed frame. You could get T-boned by a school bus and just pick it up and keep riding home😂 . Maybe one day they can use the rider cockpit airbag idea Honda uses for their Gold Wing. 🤔 You get a bunch of bike for this price level for sure. 👍
Would appreciate an update video on this bike and the Aventon Abound long term tester...a head to head basically...i like the addef safety features on the Aventon but this has a more powerful motor and can have 2 child seats vs the one on the Abound... Decisions decisions
They already dominate the food delivery industry. Fronting the cost of a $1,750 bike (plus accessories) for over 1,000,000 Dasher's is a minimum of $1,750,000,000, and I really can't see how they will achieve ROI on that one. Idk why they would do that, when their Dasher's already bring their own vehicles...*shrug*
I agree only problem is getting delivery for the ebike. Its been over 3 month since we laid out the money, no problem taking our money. Except charged our card 3 times causing us to contact bank and having the account put on hold for two weeks we while the bank checked things out we could not get to our money so had pay checks deposited to another account so we could operagte from day to day. Then we find out the location the ebike is located at which is only two hours from our house. Its been there for a month. Lectric contacted them on 4 different occasions and they gave delivery dates for which they failed to deliver. Tell Levi that his shipping really sucks. We still have not been delivered the ebike and accessories we bough for roughly $2700. A lot of money for me. Hope i dont have to contact State Attorney Generals office and report ythem. One other person contacted me with similiar problems
Wish I would’ve seen your ad before I ordered my two eBikes but same cost, I will order all the extras threw you if cost is same are cheaper 👍🏾 great review. I ordered on a Saturday afternoon and in just four days I’ve received lock, light, phone holder hopefully bikes tomorrow.
You can change the quick release to normal bolts and use some Lock Tight on the bolts. Also can wrap the bolts with electrical tape, so it takes a thief longer to get off the bolts to steal the seat.
For a maintained crushed gravel path, you should be ok. Anything more then that and you might need to change to tires to something with a bit more tread.
I was set to pull the trigger, but had a couple of questions. Unfortunately my experience is that Lectric doesn’t reply to phone calls or emails. I called the regular customer service line & was told wait times are over an hour. So unless I can be assured they have decent customer service I’m going elsewhere. What if I were to have a problem or question about the bike after it is received when they don’t respond to inquiries from prospective customers?
If you are a taller rider the Packa might be better. As the cockpit on the Lectric can feel a bit cramped. But other then that the XPedtion is a greatly capable ebike at a great price, that is hard to beat. We plan to do a comparison video in the near future of all the cargo ebikes.
I did, simply because the additional range was something I needed. The Flyer has a bit more of a thoughtful design. But the Dual batteries on the Xpedition fits my day to day needs.
Not enough range. I need at least 50 miles throttle only because I can't pedal due to back injuries. I wish more bikes state side would offer more power like the Chinese ones. Aniioki is the one I want but the fact that they are basically buy and never talk to you again makes me worry.
@@EbikeEscape Yes, according to Lectric both batteries drain simultaneously. I asked them on their Facebook page the other day for confirmation...however, you can't run the bike with 1 battery I don't think.
So when you buy this bike I don't know this guy might take my comments office page so when you buy this bike immediately take it to a bike store because there's issues with this bike things need to be tightened brakes adjustments on the your derailleur might be bent from shipping. So the people on TH-cam that got thousands of viewers they're giving free bikes to him to do a good review buyer beware. Yes I have this bike. And remember this bike is built built in China ship to Arizona and then shipped to you. The warehouse in Arizona doesn't open a bike to see what kind of condition it's in before it shipped out.

I really like that 2 batteries are identical.
Different keys on mine but not a deal breaker.
Let you know how we like the two we ordered when we test them out 👍🏾

If doordash customized a version of this bike and made it available to their delivery staff at cost they would dominate the food delivery industry

Next time! Enjoy the Xpedition, it is a great choice.
lectric xpedition: Can i swap to 20x4 tires?
I'd ask in the Facebook groups.
Can you charge both batteries with just one charger?
It charges batteries one at a time but does work with both batteries.
Sooooo, about the "adjustable seat". As I see it when I go to the supermarket with this, I'll have to take the seat in with me!
You can change the quick release to normal bolts and use some Lock Tight on the bolts. Also can wrap the bolts with electrical tape, so it takes a thief longer to get off the bolts to steal the seat.
What would it take to drop the rear wheel for a flat fix?
Those handle bars look like a pain in the but, or should I say back upper shoulder for a shorter rider
How suitable is this bike for offroad/trail riding?
For a maintained crushed gravel path, you should be ok. Anything more then that and you might need to change to tires to something with a bit more tread.

Using their chat feature on the website, I was able to ask a question and got an answer right away. Might try that
Great first look review.
when using single battery, can I put the battery in lower slot ? I wonder if that way I can use frame mount Thule Maxi Bike seat ?
Not certain what seat you are talking about. The Thule Yepp Maxi seats fit on with the battery even in the front slot.
Does anyone know if there are any winter tires compatible with this bike? I'm hoping to use it in winter in Calgary, Canada.
What's better. This bike or the blix packs genie?

Would you choose this over the l885?

If you ride in a slightly lower PAS level, like around 2-3. I bet you could get close to that mileage. Assuming flat terrain of course.
Does it matter which battery slot you use if you only use one of the two batteries?
I do not think so, as both batteries drain equally. I will double check this to be sure though.
@@EbikeEscape Yes, according to Lectric both batteries drain simultaneously. I asked them on their Facebook page the other day for confirmation...however, you can't run the bike with 1 battery I don't think.
@@wildbill23c No you can't run with just 1 battery
@@lizvickers7156 I didn't figure that would be an option LOL.

Bear with me…….. haha words companies can’t say. Jk ❤
Do you think a stem riser could be used to raise the handlebar height a bit?
