2018 Ford Escape Rear Rotor and Brake Pad Replacement

Hey guys. we did the rear brake pads and one rotor that was in very poor condition. Both sides are the same procedure except that the tool has a left and right hand side piece for it in the wind kit. These electronic E-Brakes can be electronically wound back or you can manually do them. Enjoy!

Doing rears on my sisters 2018 this weekend. Will do the " maintenance mode" for the ebrake. If doing that, will we need the windback tool or will maintenance mode fully retract the piston? Thanks!

I believe you may need to either send 12 volts from a power source to the connector to retract them or manually wind it back.
