Prius is the better vehicle - but it's WAY more expensive than the Elantra. In Canada, $14,000 difference for a similarly equipped model. I bought the Elantra, and am thrilled with my purchase. It's a staggering bundle of technology.
I agree with the Elantra. Purchased the 2021 Hybrid Limited and couldn't be more happy. Also, the Hyndai has 3 years of maintenance and 10 year powertrain warranty on the entire drivetrain.
What I hear a lot is that if you're going with the top model Elantra, then you're better off getting the Prius for roughly the same price. The problem is that I would then have the bottom model of the Prius and I can't justify jumping another $7k for the top model Prius. It's definitely a tough call, but I think it makes more sense to go with the Elantra Limited and finally enjoy a sunroof for once in my life. I've always gone with base model until now.
same. i got tired of waiting and get elantra limited hybrid instead. Plus it is end of year which i can get more discount on limited hybrid. Most important thing is mark up price. Hyundai doesn't have noticeable markup while every toyota dealer shop that I visited has at least 5k to 10k mark up price which finally kills my decision to try to get Prius base model.
@@chrisa7832I got my xle in less than a month after putting down a 2k deposit. Not my first color choice but still. Excited to receive it in September.
I'm tentatively planning to scale down a tad by going from a 2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid to a 2023 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid. My Avalon has so little mileage on it that the quotes I'm getting on a trade mean the Hyundai will cost me not too much out of pocket. Also: What I've rarely seen mentioned in the TH-cam videos I've watched is what I consider to be the generous warranty coverage on this and other Hyundai models.
I want to see a comparison between the new Prius and the upcoming Civic e:hev .... I think they are both much more similar and it will boil down to price and availability... but will not know for sure until someone actually does that comparison.
Beautiful car but I see these new Prius driving around a lot in my area and in person, it's not as spectacular as it is on video..... just my personal opinion though.
friend's I'm now totally confused which i should bay now? Toyota or Hyundai Elantra please tell me car's outside looking is very important for me which cad looks tooo much aggrasive elentra or Prius please replay
If you are looking for aggressive, i really like the way the prius looks, the headlights especially look very agressive and you get a great package, the prius for me.
@@wulongchai go with what you like more then. I like prius exterior but interior is still ugly. I dont know why they put a grandma looking steering wheel into it.

Toyota #1 reliability, Honda #5
Prius looks more substantial--beautiful.

Obviously the Elantra if you're 6 ft and over.

Pruis seats are very bad it will give you back pain
The Prius exterior look hideous!
Don't trust people with stock photos and videos. Listen to people who actually have these cars. Absolute garbage
so prius or elantra hybrid? i am deciding between these two too
