PS5 SLIM Disc Stuck - How to take the Disc Out

My just son got his new system and he insert the disc wrongly inside the console and he was struggling to see how gonna fix it without the dad knew about it. But this video helps alot and super easy. Thank you for sharing this video without this video he would pay $150 to the games stop store. We called them the next day to get a price check and they said $150 because of the labor.And I was thinking wow what a reap off if we didn’t see this video.😮😮😮 they said it’s takes 2 to 3 business days for expert to fix it.

@@dmetapr2392I was able to take it out with a screw driver counter clockwise but the disc drive still jams. So then I actually had to take it apart screw by screw and carefully remove the wire. After I got it open I found a spring was broken. I took it to a repair shop and they said they wouldn’t repair it cus it would cost more than buying a new disc drive. That’s when I realized these things were meant to break because they sell them separately for $80 to $100 and you can re install as shown here.

@@dmetapr2392 damn I replied the other day and I guess I never sent it. I had to put a screwdriver in and twist counter clockwise like the last guy said. But I also remixed the entire drive because no disc would eject. I opened the drive carefully and realized there was damage to a spring. Took it to be repaired and the guy said he wouldn’t do it cus it would cost more than buying a new drive and he told me drives are intentionally sold separately to convert digitals to drives. Also you can replace broken drives using this method. It’s a scam
