Hi, Stevie. I had stage 4 non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma too 1 year ago. Seven hard chemo sessions later, some days with strong nausea and fingertips feeling numb and I totally cured and feeling great. Stay strong and you will be better soon. Don't worry about being bald right now. Just use a hat to prevent sunburns. Best wishes for you and keep doing your astonishing work.
That's my diagnosis as well. Thanks for the tips. I'm halfway through my treatments (3 of 6). It sucks but so far it's been manageable. Congrats on getting through it and glad you're cured!
As a bald guy (just general male pattern baldness) I second the suggestion to wear a hat. Way too many guys just walking around frying their bare brain cage.
When I was 13 years old I had non Hodgkin's lymphoma large cell stage 3 or as we call it b cell and I'm 30 years old now .I got a lot of health problems due to it but thank God I'm still alive . But I don't got a immune system I get this fake immune system called ivig I've been getting it since I was 13 years old I got nerve damage from chemo.
Hey man, I am a huge fan of your videos. I nearly built a Nintendo switch from ground with broken joycons and a switch for my son without prior knowledge with your videos. It become a project that work together (5 years old) with my son and you helped me to share great moments with him. Thanks a lot. I am sure that you will get rid of this stupid ill. Get well soon. ❤
FYI, you still look good bald! I hope you get well soon. Your content is the best on TH-cam, I try to tell everyone about you guys so they can come watch.
Nothing is easy today. One day something works, the other don't. I mean even in this video, the disc drive is bricked because "it wasnt turned off properly" and you have to "register" your drive to unlock it's function ... F=k that! If I want to play a game I will play a game, and not waste my time patching, register, download, etc. And if I need to go somewhere then I will turn off my devices whenever I feel like and move on. If a thing stops being user friendly then we don't need it. Life is too short to be wasted on this crap. No wonder why millions of people quit gaming and toss these corporate trash products out.
The ssd drive is not broken, it performs a check for errors. Windows also does this sometimes. And having the option to pair the drive online is much much better than not having that option. I bought a broken Xbox Series X with an HDMI issue, fixed it only to find out that the disc drive was not original as it threw an error during software update. A log file on the ssd says it can’t authenticate the drive. That console is now bricked forever. The SSD is also matched to the console, so if it breaks you can’t just pop in a new one. You have to copy some data fron it first. If you can’t copy because the drive is toast, the console is bricked. In that sense, the PS5 is an improvement on the last few generations @@minmogrovingstrongandhealthy.
@@minmogrovingstrongandhealthy the disc drive is not "bricked" because it wasnt turn off properly. He's literally put brand new sealed replacement disc drive. Did you wacth the video?

I still think that Sony should have found a better way to link the drive to the console than server-side verification. That has the potential to be a serious problem when PS5 becomes vintage hardware.
Sup Steve! Much love from halfway across the world brother. Have had cancer survivors in my family! You will beat this, have no doubts my friend. Much respect 🤝
Dear Steve, as most of your subscribers, I'm also a fan of your work. I also wanted to tell you that I had covid a couple years ago so I had some really bad days that time. But one of the really good things for me on those ugly days, was to watch your videos. You seems to be a happy and joyful person that really love and enjoy his work, and I think you have talent to transmit it through your videos. I'm not totally aware if you are now in the middle of a medical treament, but if so, I really REALLY hope you get better as soon as possible. I'm sending you my best wishes from Argentina. You're so cool bro! ✊
@@chillnspace777 how good is the airflow around your console? I have had mine vertical too, but there is always cool air flowing around it and I have no issues too
@rayoflight39 I have a fan blowing several feet to its side. Alot more often in the summer then winter. The ps5 is basically on a shelf with nothing around it. Series x is on its side with its top blowing air out the same direction as the fan pushes air. No issues at all for a few years now
I recommend you every time I see someone asking for help fixing a console etc. Why haven't you opened up your own stores yet??? Put your face on the sign and everyone will recognize you, you'll make a billion bucks Bud
Simple fix, but I'm not a fan of companies not only software-locking hardware like replacement optical drives (which in some occasional cases _might_ be justified for hardware compatibility reasons) but also requiring internet connections to "register" and "activate" them.
Yes Steve, it is user friendly of Sony to make the Disk Drive so easily swappable on a user lever, however... as we saw even tho it is easy, it comes at a catch, we need to register the drive, so what happens down the line, let's say 10 years from now or even 20 when PS7 comes out and they shut down the registering servers for the drives, it'll become e-waste sadly unless they somehow open them up for registering without the need of connecting to their servers. That is the thing that kinda worries me tbh about these PS5 Slims.
Something I don't understand is why people just don't return these brand new consoles. Is this not a thing in the US. When your products stops working here in EU and it's not more than two years old and you haven't cause the problem, the shop you bought it from will just return the money back to you.

Love your videos Steve. I did learn from to check the HDMI connectors on any thing that has a problem with HDMI be it a input to a monitor/TV or other devices or an output. I did pick up a 24" pc monitor new from a local computer shop that was returned by their customer not working out of the box. The shop supplier did not want it back and it had be replaced. It was for scrap and I did get the inputs working again by resoldering both of them VGA and HDMI port
Wow you can now replaced and register a disc drive? I remembered on the OG Xbox and 360 you couldn’t because it was married to the motherboard and you were out of luck UNLESS mod and get the key from the broken drive and flashed into a replacement drive.
