Gara, Wisp, Excal, Wukong, Nekros. Should cover everything you will want to do in the game. Gara for defense, but also a good general use frame. Necros for farming. Wukong for spy missions Excal as the frame good enough for everything Wisp because that's my favorite frame.
But she’s really ugly and feels boring to play, pass. Also there’s almost always one in your squad if you play online, having two doesn’t really help at all

So better hurry and pick up Octavia for free while the timeline to do so runs out in about 10 days from today 10/5/23
1. Revenant (or another tank such as Rhino, Nezha, Yareli) 2. Nekros (best all around looter frame, but Khora or Hydroid with augments work too) 3. Volt (or another aoe nuker and wpn buffer such as Saryn or even Gyre) 4. Titania / Wukong (for fast in and out missions hassle free) 5. Wisp (imo the best squad support, but Citrine is great too, and so is Styanax with augment and Nourish)
@@MHBlacky_ENG Been off of Warframe for a while but I did play for years, using and playing alongside a LOT of different Frames. Those 6 aspects I listed...quite a number of the frames can't beat Khora in ANY of them if you put the right weapons on her, and others who are hyper-specialized in one or two areas might beat her in those two but utterly fail to compete in the other four. I was out-running, out-shooting, out-collecting, out-tanking and out-healing people including veteran players all over the place WITHOUT CHANGING MY MODS.
I'm new so this is pretty helpful. Valkyr is awesome for me so far. My only complaint about this game, compared to most things I play, is it makes me accidentally say things out loud like "I need to run through Uranus melee only" in regular conversation. Other than that, great game.
Be careful, you might accidentally get laid. Yes, Valkyr is brutal when you're new and need something tanky but she unfortunately suffers at higher level content.
Honestly, you can just pick Volt as your starter frame and never need another frame ever again. He's just perfect, especially once you max out your build! There's literally nothing he can't do!
I'm guessing a lot of people are surprised by Citrine being on the list but I guess now that I think about it, I can kinda see why. Passive HP regen + 90% dmg reduction on your team is insane, she increases orb drops so you can also sustain the energy economy of your entire squad, her 3 can apply all 4 basic elements so, not only are you getting free elements without having to mod for them, your enemies are also CC-ed from the burn, cold, and shock procs, and if that amount of CC is not enough, her 4 can straight up stun them in place while giving the entire team guaranteed red crits on stunned enemies. Citrine never seemed like a warframe that had the spotlight ever since she release (hell even on her release she was competing with the Rhino Deathwatch skin lol) but now that you mentioned her, I might give her a solid try.
Citrine is extra fun with the cedo (or any other weapons that might exist that do more DMG based on afflicted elements). Also, her gunblade scythe is a pretty fantastic shotgun with infinite ammo, if you don't have Xoris or another glaive to be an unlimited ammo grenade launcher.
It felt very funny to start playing warframe yesterday, getting the Prime gift box that just gives you Octavia for free, then coming to this video a few hours later only to find out she’s one of the best in the game!
Ngl I like octavia she is on of my favourite frames but when ppl join in public games it's annoying because they don't have any music (they have the default one) and I'll have to turn off my music while they r with me
Honourable mentions to Ivara for railjack intrinsic and animal conservation. Gauss for opening a lith relic on Mariana in 47 seconds. Limbo for excavation+annoying teammates. And rhino for being my favourite :)
As someone who rarely plays with other people, these are my picks: Nekros - Loot/Survival Mesa - Defense/Mobile/Interception Volt - ESO/Eidolon/Profit Taker/Capture/Rescue Ivara - Spy/ Solo Weapon Levelling Rhino - Index/Rathuum Excal as a bonus frame because I use him for all the main story quests as he's the OG and Excal Umbra once you get past the sacrifice. I feel it makes sense from a lore stand point :') Good for Steel Path too!
The five Frames I have are Excalibur Umbra, Nekros Prime, Nidus Prime, Wukong Prime, and Reverant Prime, I love those Warframes. Wukong Prime is good for Railjack missions, Excalibur Umbra is good for missions that you need to exit out of your Warframe to be in Operator mode, Nekros Prime is good for looting, and whatnot, Nidus is good to open your whatever that door is in your Orbiter, and Reverant is good for tanking missions, and it's really awesome
Excalibur Umbra is good for missions that are good for when you need to be in Operator mode, and honestly, he's the best, I frickin' love him@@Mr-Alone77421
Rhino is as immortal as revenant because of 3 seconds invulnerability of iron skin +shield gate no matter the level of enemies just recast iron skin when the shield gate activates, reinforcing stomp and piercing roar will make iron skin recharge its value and last longer
Yes Indeed but Rhino works greatly as support/sub DPS frame too, i can cast a 160% buff from piercing Roar for at least 70 second, you Just Stick to the main DPS and see the destruction while also be quite Immortal and since you are buffed too you can deal great damage aswell
I also buff 100% BDSM skin roar. -20%enemy defense. Give great support stomping recharge for a max shield gate while recasting iron to pierce destruction
I feel you could have made buff/support someone like wisp due to her Insaine buffing although Octavia is the queen objective frame she has some wired features that make buffing teammates a bit weird but other than that great list
@@JaayCeezrhino is a good frame however he is not as good as you think, he has his damage buff and shield but compared to these absolute powerhouses he lacks value and is a good starter and endgame frame but not the best of the best
@underanalyze I see, I have Revenant and Octavia Prime but I think I just don't know how to use them. Either that or I lack the necesary mods and gear to properly use them.
Citrine or Wisp for slot 5, because as long as you set your flowers and jump a lot you'll help everyone else stay alive and kill things faster, plus using breech surge helps cc and kill chain enemies
Don't let the grind turn you off it's ok to take breaks but trust me if you follow a few guides and don't skip through things then you will love it also it might seem like it but it's extremely possible to gain other items like weapons and warframes without paying for them with real money
Khora Volt Revenant Saryn Banshee I think in terms of Frames that you'll ever "need", it doesn't get any better than these 5. Though I will say you can also throw in Wisp there.
My general rotation of "5 frames" looks like this: Saryn/Mesa/Mag for killing and general play Nova for interception Revenant for bossing or just being alive Wukong for easy spy or speedrunning Gara/Frost for defense, healing/protecting allies/objectives, and alternative DPS
4:40 the community may agree but not me the immortal is sevagoth because when he dies he becomes his shadow and when he’s his shadow he just needs to kill a few people and he’s back
Personally I believe Wisp is a better support than Citrine. Her stats on paper may seem better than Wisp at first but her abilities require kills or teammates that will work around you. Wisp However places a mote down and as long as you place it in range of a teammate, it passively heals while you focus on killing. Wisp also goes invis if she is in the air so her survival rate is much higher. Citrines passive healing can only go to 25 per second and if a teammate has health in the thousands and is surrounded, he aint feeling that. Citrine is great but Wisp feels more consistent. Ontop of that her other abilities are stuns/CC abilities, mixed with speed boosting abilities as well. So if youre in a pinch, running is easier with Wisp.
personally i really like harrow, his insane healing makes him super easy to take into steal path, and he creates his own energy, not even mentioning (relatively) free +50% crit chance. it also makes defense, rescue, and excavation missions easier because he can heal these unlike quite a few other healers. (his prime is also relatively easy to get, much like revenant). i dont typically shield gate, but im pretty sure hes good for this too thanks to his first also! i really love your videos, they have helped me on so many occasions and they are genuinely enjoyable!
Mesa - Can be good everywhere Nyx - Afk interception Limbo - Mobile defence\excavation, can be used for defence but in specific cases Khora\Necros (or both, different purposes) For farm Revenant\Ash - Disruption\liches\sisters Equinox - Can lvlup stuff, can do fast exterminates on fissures There is a lot of warfs that can be better in some game mods, but they are not so versatile
The most fun frame that takes care of my high level content is Nidus. I just love his kit having so much synergy and you get stronger the longer you play. So fun for survival. Nidus and Saryn were my goto frames awhile back but idk how they stack up now
I invested a lot in my Xaku and honestly aside from espionage missions they’re perfect for lots of content specially steel path and endurance runs, weapon buffing that makes aiming even less important? 100% defense strip plus void guns that scale up to enemy level? What’s not to love?
Volt can also be picked as a starter Warframe so you don't have to craft him. Also, his 3rd ability can be used to easily cheese almost all of the Junctions.
@@nea4266 Only one that I failed the first try on was against Valkyr. She literally would not get out of hysteria. Ever. Pretty sure it was glitched, because the second try she used it once for a few seconds and then never did it again.
Ehh that's arguable, the default builds that the circuit gives you on WF's is enough to stay alive for quite a bit, it's more about the weapons you get which matters a lot more. Frames are pretty straight forward too with their base kit, proficiency only matters with niche builds that tailor towards specific helminth builds
Basically just came back to the game after giving up pretty quickly and found that i already have necros and revanant and I've barely played the game so I'm pretty happy that i got these guys so early on now😂
Imo the 5 must have warframes are as follows: Nekros - loot Octavia - does everything Zephyr - lowest cost investment for easy steel path Wukong - trivializes spy missions bc you fly through the lasers Rhino/Nezha/Revenant - Rhino being the easiest to get, Nezha being faster and better rhino but slightly more difficult to get, and Revenant being a huge pain for new players to obtain. One of these three for anything that you need to be able to tank damage (and that for some reason or another you cant take octavia)
I main Octavia Prime, Archon Shards make her amazing in high level content, and Ember was my 2nd main. Lately? I have been LOVING Hildryn with Diplos. Amazing overshield build makes Steel Path seem like a walk.
Wukong for noobs Rihno for roar skill Nekros for farming Revenant prime for unkillability and nuking Dante for revenant but as a support+harder to get Gauss prime for easy to acquire+enhancing clear time of quick missions
Lephantis isn’t really a newb friendly boss. Pub runs you may do ok but the boss has some jank and unreliable weak points unless you have a well timed slow that you can turn off again during invincibility phases.
I remember when I first started playing the game it was during Oberon's release man it was the best days. We farm everything using specific frames. I go octavia, my friends pick Hydroid, Nova or Saryn, and Nekros it was really fun playing with them while at the same time grinding a lot of mats anywhere especially during the axi grinds. My first frame was ash and it was that time that he was reigning supreme by one shotting every enemy. My first premium costume was that of pyrke nidus cause of the esthetics (it was because I really love my helminth kubrow that I really aim for the skin note I don't even have nidus yet and I was grinding for purple mods that time) it was the time where I really enjoyed the game and the community. I missed it the game, the community, my friends, my precious daddy umbra, my sweet good boi helminth charger I miss all of those sadly I haven't played the game for 3 years so much has happened and I wish to play it again. Maybe soon after my college days, after finding a job and have a stable income maybe I'll play again. But for now to all those new tenno, the community welcomes you with open arms. Have fun and stay safe tenno until we meet in the space.
I've been playing for salad 2 weeks and I'm already mastery ranked 6. This game is lots of fun and a lot of different than my usual PVP games and it's nice to have a tutorial like this to help new players like me find their way into new frames right now I really like Hildryn and Citrene as my much higher leveled friend helped me get both of them
Cool list. I personally used rhino for a majority of my playtime before getting more slots just because he's very easy to understand and can do what you need to without much knowledge of complex building. My personal recommendation if you're starting the game and need to get yourself comfortable with its mechanics. Very approachable, and because of rhino and a bit of advice from me my friend was able to finish the sacrifice after leaving for YEARS. If you ever get into new territory, he's there for you 👍
Yeah, I totally agree. Rhino is great ^^ That's why I also featured him.in my ranking of the top 5 beginner Warframes ^^ He can do a whole lot of jobs really well and back in the day I even finished The War Within with him 😉
I always advocate for him for the same reasons. People also underestimate his 4th ability a lot, between ironskin being one of the stronger survivability abilities in the game, roar being the literal best buff ability, and his stomp being able to CC Acolytes, Eximus, and having the amazing range and slow % that doesn't get messed up with low strength... he is just a powerhouse. Best CC ability in the game, hands down.
Tbh u can walk through the whole game with khora as well, she have cc, her 3rd augment give her 1 chance to stay alive, she can heal as well and farm loot with 4th augment, and she can do high damage with first augment, she need investment but worth it
I'm a hardcore protea main. I use her for every mission because she's very versatile. She basically has infinite overshield, shield gating, ammo, energy and health. Plus she can deal a ton of damage. If you swap her 4th with ensnare then her altilery will deal more damage because of infinite punch through. And if you pair protea with huras kubrow, you'll become the invisible machine of destruction.
While a good argument is made for citrine, a frame that was released this summer might be better. I really enjoy playing as Dante as his abilities all coincide with each other. 2,2,4 for a buttload of overshield. 3,3,4 for nuking enemies in ability range. 3,2,4 for birds that fly around causing slash damage on enemies and 2,3,4 for a buff to the overshield. He is the best of both worlds when it comes to support and damage because of these abilities, and if you build his book right, you have no need for a secondary weapon and can just use that and your main weapon and melee weapon.
I look at this game as just not playing the "meta Warframes" but the ones you want. Obviously the ones you want will take awhile to get unless you just buy them.
I think if I could only pick 5 frames I'd chose 1. Any viable end game damage dealer. Mine would be mirage because I just love her ball and survivalbity with the clones. 2. Frost (defense, mobile defense, interception, exc. Just a great frame to trivialize stand still defend this missions) 3. Volt (capture, exterminate, eidolon bounties exc. Zoom zoom get things done quickly) 4. Trinity, I know she has fallen out of alot of people's radars, but man is she a good support frame. Heals, shields, and energy. Everything for the team. 5. Nekros for the loot! All about that loot frame.
As a casual solo player I mostly only used these 5, Excalibur for fashion and exalted blade good damage and rhino for survivability, then as I progressed I got ash for spy and missions I was running through equinox for versatility and aoe slash, and remnant for extra good survivability, and then of course you got frost for the high level defense
@@henrikmonkee I actually slapped chromatic blade on it the second it existed lol that corrosive and blast is a pretty great combo I found it to be very strong 1 hitting everything up to lv 30 and with primed fury on higher levels it’s crazy
Mesmer skin + Mesmer Shield = your squad can also last a lot longer. Also, enemies put to sleep by Mesmer skin can be enthralled for 0 energy cost. Also, almost everything in the game can be enthralled. Though, some only get like one second worth before shrugging it off, that one second can be useful to shoot them in the weak spot, or cause them to attack their allies and spread the enthralling effect without costing you energy. This includes stalker, the acolytes, liches/sisters, and eximus (once overguard is removed from them). As a Revenant main, I find myself sometimes being field medic for higher MR players who're using squishier frames. I picked Volt as my starter frame. I'd replace Citrine with Voruna. Speed + stealth + stealthy kills. Honestly, I mainly just run her 1st and 4th skills for stealthy missions, and stuff like speedy relic cracking. Subsume pertinacity on her, and she's great of those stealthy missions in modes that prevent you from using ciphers. Running with a group of speed framers? She keeps up. Need to do the stealthy missions for an archon hunt, without risking mission failure a bunch of times, run that missions solo with her and the skill subsumed. I used to hate stealth missions before she was released.
I think khora is better for farming materiales than nekros, I used to use nekros before but the best drops comes from survival and defences, both cases khora is a 10 of 10
Imo trinity is a better support frame than citrine, though she takes a bit more brainpower. If you can keep track of her cooldowns then she can provide constant 100% armor strip to the 5 nearest enemies (a surprising amount of people dont run any armor strip, even on SP stuff), constant 72% DR (and 92 to herself) with no warm up time (citrine's cap is 90% and cannot be recast while active so you'll always have some downtime), and completely restore the health and shields of anyone in your affinity range at any time. There's also wisp, but she's really squishy and nowhere near as fun imo
I give any new players who ask for advice or clan members a bit more generic advice And rather than give specific examples I give them a broad category more than 5 for me. Some frames overlap into several categories. So those are the better choice. Some of my personal favourites are... 1 AoE frame Saryn, Volt, Mirage, Ember, Gara 1 Tank frame Rhino, Revenant, Wukong 1 Loot frame Nekros, Khora, (Hydroid) mostly because it available earliest 1 Eidolon / PT frame Volt, Mirage 1 Stealth frame Ivara, Loki, Octavia 1 Speed frame -Heppit as this is the best Lith relic farm. any capture Titania, Gauss, Volt, Wukong 1 Armour strip frame - High level/armour, Demolists Nekros, Hildryn, Ember 1 Support damage, health/armour/shield buff frame Octavia, Wisp, Citrine, Oberon,, Trinity, Hildryn 1 Objective protector - Mob def, Excavation Frost, Gara, Oberon
Voruna can be added to stealth and speed categories. Wisp should be added to speed and point control categories. Equinox should be added to AoE, support, and point control categories. Limbo can be added to objective protect. (He can also do AoE, but that might be beyond a new player)
Gara and Garuda are imho the best frames overall right now. Gara because it has the best mix of long range non LoS nuke VS dmg making it imho the best at farming liches, it's also tanky, good at protecting objectives and it even can boost single target dmg on certain objectives. Garuda because of how well the frame performs in every aspect of the game. And for ESO farming, the best is not volt at all, nor Saryn(even if it is very strong there as a one of): it's mirage with her 2 augment(I picked it accidentally once in SP circuit and it was still good there, sleeper op build imho)
Underrated frame: Mag Mag can crowd up people in defence and survival While in the magnetize area the damage buff starts with 2x, it scales with ability strength. The last ability crush at base is kinda bad, but with the augment Fracturing crush armor strip percentage starts at 75% and goes to 100% with again ability strength. Do I rly need to explain pull? If u want survivability switch the 3rd ability for eclipse. Yes. This build covers the future update to armor. Build is (All mods at max lvl): Growing Power, Power Drift, Primed Continuity, Fleeting Expertise, Fracturing Crush, Augur Secrets, Stretch, Augur Message, Rolling Guard, and Intensify, are the mods. For the arcanes, Molt Augmented, and Molt Efficiency. All of that with 0 forma. Now the most important part, the Archon Shards, 2 Amber Archon Shards set to Effectiveness on Energy Orbs, 1 Azure Archon Shards set to Energy Max, now 2 optional but recommended Shards, 1 Crimson Archon set to Primary Status Chance, and Finally 1 Violet Archon Shard set to Health Pickup gives +20% Energy, and Energy pickup gives +20% Health. Mag is universally good, try her out with the given build above and see if she fits your playstyle.
I agree with citrine you van take off her 4th and add roar making all her other ability do more damage and her 1 spammed added with her 3 makes her kill very fast
Contrary to popular belief gauss is super good at tridolon and profit taker if you give him roar and use thermal transfer you can buff his damage by ridiculous ammouts
@skudgyy3803 thermal transfer is an augment that give you a bonus 75% hear or cold damage when standing in the the respective thermal sunder element. Roar is just a flat damage bonus that you get from subsuming rhino
It's a rare accent and a very nice one at that, too! No problem at all, man. I love your content, and one of your videos actually got me into warframe after seeing it pop up in my feed!
i got octavia 5 days ago and i really like to play her. But i noticed the downsides that her first skill needs damage to do damage and her weak survivability if shes not invisible all the time. I think she does much better in really high levels because in multiplayer are so much other frames that can nuke a room instantly at lower levels. she wants energy all the time and a new player is not always able to provide it with the very few mods available at the early game. I almost finished the star chart now and was finally able to get her working. As a beginner i might not know some things that could make my warframe experience better. I am still pretty confused about mods in general. where to obtain which? even obtainable as a beginner? what when i finished the star chart? all over again? time for eidolons? open relics to sell prime stuff and buy orokin catalyst/reactor for future equipment? wtf are arcanes? what are all those constantly changing events/missions over all planets and should i do them?... can do this the whole day but i think its just learning by playing^^ Not the best english i know... but i tried xD
It's simple, you need mesa and nova. And you are set up for the whole game. Ofc, there are fields in which other warframes would work better but witb those 2 you have thing to do endless farming with and thing do do dmg. Remember you also have operator, companions and different weapons
The beauty of the game is that even if you don’t use these warframes, you can still do pretty much any and all content. I'm using Lavos as my main warframe right now. I'll likely stick with him until his Prime comes out, and so far, I'm not struggling with any content. Granted, I'm a newer player who's just unlocked SP and is currently gearing up to farm arcanes, so I still have a lot of the game in front of me. But the way I'm feeling right now, I don't think it's going to be a struggle.
idk Wisp is a no brainer. would pick her over any other warframe in the list only cause of her 1st skill alone. took her back in 2019 when i was still kinda new to mid and she helped me forever.
For me the whole point of the game is to experiment with different frames, weapons, companions etc. Baruuk will be the right frame for every mission if you have no fancy weapons and mods. Wisp is so much better then citrine, imho. Volt... Yes he is amazing. Me very sad Mag is not in the list.
Bro thank you so much for all the help, just started again playing Warframe and man am I lost, but because of your videos everything is coming back to me and I'm starting to enjoy it again, last time I played was in 2014. A lot has changed. Just keep up the good work! PS. Holy shit, ich wusste nicht das du deutsche bist, dein Englisch und arbeit sind TOP, und man sieht das du dich Mühe gibts!
For the average player, all Frame are good. Imo, you just need to have at least Nekros, Khora or Hydroid to farm ressources. For all other types of mission, you can play whoever you like playing. Some frames are just way better in very specific types of mission or at really high level (steel path).
@@MHBlacky_ENG I watch a lot of your videos in the background because they are entertaining, and as an mr 24 I’ve never heard any info to complain about!! Keep it up and much love!!! 😁😁
My top 5 best all around are 1 kullervo (raw unkillable power) 2 wisp (buffs are incredible 3 wukong (fun movement and twin) 4 nekros (loot) 5 revenant
I think titania deserves a slot, she is the best frame to speed through missions, and she has one of the best exalted weapons in the game, as well as decent survivability since she's small meaning a lot of enemies just miss, she has a status clense and damage deflection. And did i mention that she's fast? the main problem with her is that her prime is vaulted and the best way to get her normal version is from the circuit because farming for her is about as fun as eating sand also kullervo - reason: redcrits go brr
Just finished getting the last 52nd frame 3 days ago, now I don’t need to worry about getting bored about my playstyle. The FTP grind is real tho, since I also got all 38 primes
personally i think rhino is a better fit than rev due to a multitude of reasons: 1. incredibly easy to farm. 2. VERY early game. 3. arguably a better tank than revenant, more so when you value in reinforcing stomp. 4. roar being the best damage buff ability in game by far. 5. he can carry you pretty much the ENTIRE game and even into SP, though Rhino Prime obviously fairing better to finish SP due to his higher armor. Not to say Revenant is bad, but I just feel these factors make rhino a LOT more viable for both new and veteran players.
I got Rhino Prime early in my journey into Warframe, and he carried me through a good amount of the early game. Even when I eventually became a Valkyr main, I always kept my Rhino for more dicey missions. And I've recently even replaced my Valkyr Prime's 3 with his subsumed Roar.
As a person that got revenant as his second (technically third cause umbra) frame, get rhino first. The materials needed for revenant are from sentients, which isnt exactly the most early game seeing as you need either Lua or fully done operator
hey blacky, could you make a video about focus trees and all that stuff? i honestly have no idea of which one is the best and it’d be great if you did that
Which Warframes would you pick if you only had 5 slots open?
Octavia, Mirage, Harrow, Gauss, Wisp
Frost, Vauban, Nidus, Nekros, Volt
Octavia, mirage, wisp, vauban, nekros
Gara, Wisp, Excal, Wukong, Nekros.
Should cover everything you will want to do in the game.
Gara for defense, but also a good general use frame.
Necros for farming.
Wukong for spy missions
Excal as the frame good enough for everything
Wisp because that's my favorite frame.
Octavia. You dont need 5
But the warframes you WANT are the ones you should go for!
Indeed
so true
Ofc
I want yareli :)
@@LarryDaChickenYareli is actually good and easily viable in steel path so it's a win win
Wisp, is THE BEST support frame. Hands down. Health regen, speed multiplier for more dps, crowd control...she has it all.
But she’s really ugly and feels boring to play, pass. Also there’s almost always one in your squad if you play online, having two doesn’t really help at all

none are must haves. this video only serves well as clickbait anyhow. every frame is worth using if you enjoy it
Hydroid for farming xd
Personally a heavy fan of Khora. That combo of speed, toughness, healing, damage, crowd control and tactical logistics is so adaptable.
Yes, I agree, she is awesome :D
I'm strongly considering her for my Top 10 Warframes list this year ^^
@@MHBlacky_ENG Been off of Warframe for a while but I did play for years, using and playing alongside a LOT of different Frames.
Gauss is the only frame I’ve ever needed
My mind is blown. My top 3 gets me through ALL content in the game and is completely different. Warframe is awesome
Be a chad. Play the frames you find fun.
i just wanna use atlas prime 🥹
Nice one idol!!!
HOW I NEED TO BUY THEM TO SEE IF I LIKE EM
@@MeMo_Monke underrated comment
I only use Excalibur I never bought a skin🗿
Super glad I coincidentally got Octavia for free from Amazon Prime when that was a thing for a brief period of time
I'm new so this is pretty helpful.
Well hello there Andrew. I'd love to see warframe content from you :)
Volt main since day one gotta say you right
I'm guessing a lot of people are surprised by Citrine being on the list but I guess now that I think about it, I can kinda see why.
Kullervo just does everything you need him to. Red crit on demand/teleport, an absurd amount of overgaurd, nuke potential, and area denial.
I don't understand how he's not more popular.
But hey atleast all of us who main him know how OP he really is lol
It felt very funny to start playing warframe yesterday, getting the Prime gift box that just gives you Octavia for free, then coming to this video a few hours later only to find out she’s one of the best in the game!
Haha yeah, she's really good indeed ^^
I find her a bit boring though. However she's still great to have early on ^^
I was wondering why i have octavia lv0 good to know
Ngl I like octavia she is on of my favourite frames but when ppl join in public games it's annoying because they don't have any music (they have the default one) and I'll have to turn off my music while they r with me
Revenant is just the Rhino of old days where the 2nd skill made you invulnerable until the nerf.
Honourable mentions to Ivara for railjack intrinsic and animal conservation. Gauss for opening a lith relic on Mariana in 47 seconds. Limbo for excavation+annoying teammates. And rhino for being my favourite :)
As someone who rarely plays with other people, these are my picks:
Nekros - Loot/Survival
Mesa - Defense/Mobile/Interception
Volt - ESO/Eidolon/Profit Taker/Capture/Rescue
Ivara - Spy/ Solo Weapon Levelling
Rhino - Index/Rathuum
Excal as a bonus frame because I use him for all the main story quests as he's the OG and Excal Umbra once you get past the sacrifice.
Pretty valid, honestly. I only have Limbo, Excalibur, and Excalibur Umbra, unfortunately
I believe this is the best Warframe content for returning players.
Loot Frame: Nekros
All rounder Frame: Revenant
Buff and Objetive Frame: Octavia
Versatile Frame: Volt
Support Frame: Citrine
What about Rhino? He makes every mission be so chill and easy for me.
@@JaayCeezdouble mallet mod makes Octavia a literally invincible crowd control support buffing queen lol not much two mallets can't fix
Citrine or Wisp for slot 5, because as long as you set your flowers and jump a lot you'll help everyone else stay alive and kill things faster, plus using breech surge helps cc and kill chain enemies
Sir this is my pokemon.. I. Must. have. Them. ALL!
Hahaha then I hope you have enough... uhm... Framey...Balls? to catch them 😜
I wanna be... the very best... 😂😂😂
Warframe mon!!! Go catch em aaaal😂😂
THIS IS YOUR FAULT HAYDEN😭😭😭😭
This is helpful. I’m about to download this game for the first time
Thank yous o much! Glad I could help :D
Wish you a great time trying out Warframe ;)
Don't let the grind turn you off it's ok to take breaks but trust me if you follow a few guides and don't skip through things then you will love it also it might seem like it but it's extremely possible to gain other items like weapons and warframes without paying for them with real money
For anyone wanting an easier time looking for the warframes
0:50 = Nekros
3:45 = Revenant
6:10 = Octavia
7:50 = Volt
10:20 = Citrine
Khora
Volt
Revenant
Saryn
Banshee
I think in terms of Frames that you'll ever "need", it doesn't get any better than these 5. Though I will say you can also throw in Wisp there.
I aint a newbie i been playing on and off for 4 years but your videos are still helping me since i returned to the game again
thanks MHBlacky
*Excel prime users chuckling in the distance*
My general rotation of "5 frames" looks like this:
Saryn/Mesa/Mag for killing and general play
Nova for interception
Revenant for bossing or just being alive
Wukong for easy spy or speedrunning
Gara/Frost for defense, healing/protecting allies/objectives, and alternative DPS
1) Nekros - King of Loot
2) Revenant - Immortal frame
3) Octavia - Queen of Level Cap
4) Volt - Raid Frame
5) Citrine - Bonus/Support
ur the best
TH-cam translates citrine to lemon
Wisp is my #1 frame for just about anything, she's super versatile
4:40 the community may agree but not me the immortal is sevagoth because when he dies he becomes his shadow and when he’s his shadow he just needs to kill a few people and he’s back
Thank you man is truly slept on everyone just helmiths him it sucks cause he’s also alot of fun
(his prime is also relatively easy to get, much like revenant).
i dont typically shield gate, but im pretty sure hes good for this too thanks to his first
also! i really love your videos, they have helped me on so many occasions and they are genuinely enjoyable!
Mesa - Can be good everywhere
Nyx - Afk interception
Limbo - Mobile defence\excavation, can be used for defence but in specific cases
Khora\Necros (or both, different purposes) For farm
Revenant\Ash - Disruption\liches\sisters
Equinox - Can lvlup stuff, can do fast exterminates on fissures
There is a lot of warfs that can be better in some game mods, but they are not so versatile
Limbo is honestly the most versatile frame for solo play once you understand that his kit doesn’t have to be geared round the bubble anyway
The most fun frame that takes care of my high level content is Nidus. I just love his kit having so much synergy and you get stronger the longer you play. So fun for survival. Nidus and Saryn were my goto frames awhile back but idk how they stack up now
Necros
Reverant
Octavia
Volt
Citrine
I invested a lot in my Xaku and honestly aside from espionage missions they’re perfect for lots of content specially steel path and endurance runs, weapon buffing that makes aiming even less important? 100% defense strip plus void guns that scale up to enemy level? What’s not to love?
Volt can also be picked as a starter Warframe so you don't have to craft him. Also, his 3rd ability can be used to easily cheese almost all of the Junctions.
Comparing a frames ability to Junctions isn't great. Junctions are a joke and can be completed in any sort of way.
@@nea4266 Only one that I failed the first try on was against Valkyr. She literally would not get out of hysteria. Ever. Pretty sure it was glitched, because the second try she used it once for a few seconds and then never did it again.
Unless you want to play the Duviri circuit in steel path. Then you'll need to get them all and equip them, and become proficient in how to use them.
Basically just came back to the game after giving up pretty quickly and found that i already have necros and revanant and I've barely played the game so I'm pretty happy that i got these guys so early on now😂
That's nice! Two very strong Frames right there ^^ Wish you much fun with your return ❤️
Styanax and nidus are two must have’s imo, such fun frames and super easy to make them good.
i think that the best way to choose a frame would be by their gyat
Imo the 5 must have warframes are as follows:
Nekros - loot
Octavia - does everything
Zephyr - lowest cost investment for easy steel path
Wukong - trivializes spy missions bc you fly through the lasers
Rhino/Nezha/Revenant - Rhino being the easiest to get, Nezha being faster and better rhino but slightly more difficult to get, and Revenant being a huge pain for new players to obtain. One of these three for anything that you need to be able to tank damage (and that for some reason or another you cant take octavia)
Most time the warframe I used is Wukong. I use my twin to fight while i just sit and chill doing nothing 🤣
3 avoid death, 1 heal+inv+immunity, extra imuniti+armor, and a clone with aimbot, Wu is one of my favorites frames
I main Octavia Prime, Archon Shards make her amazing in high level content, and Ember was my 2nd main. Lately? I have been LOVING Hildryn with Diplos. Amazing overshield build makes Steel Path seem like a walk.
Wukong for noobs
Rihno for roar skill
Nekros for farming
Revenant prime for unkillability and nuking
Dante for revenant but as a support+harder to get
Gauss prime for easy to acquire+enhancing clear time of quick missions
This game is lots of fun and a lot of different than my usual PVP games and it's nice to have a tutorial like this to help new players like me find their way into new frames right now I really like Hildryn and Citrene as my much higher leveled friend helped me get both of them
Hydroid prime plus pilfering swarm is the goat of farm frames
His Top 5:
1. Nekros
2. Revenant
3. Octavia
4. Volt
5. Citrine
You're welcome.
Good list need to watch the citrine part haven't used her or heard anything myself
Came back after a long break and your videos are priceless. Keep it up man
Tbh u can walk through the whole game with khora as well, she have cc, her 3rd augment give her 1 chance to stay alive, she can heal as well and farm loot with 4th augment, and she can do high damage with first augment, she need investment but worth it
Agreed. Khora is definitely worth investing into ^^
I'm a hardcore protea main.
That farm though 😅
@@phforNZ I bought her with plat
Don't even blame you
She's sooooooo good
Yeah, She's an absolute powerhouse, I agree! Also love playing her, especially in high level content ^^
NEKROS
REVENANT
OCTAVIA
VOLT
CITRINE
ty
I have all the warframes yet still watching this video
You can still sell all of them except these 5 😜
@@MHBlacky_ENG They are all crafted though *sadface*
You can get octavia from the prime gaming rewards even faster then prime
I think if I could only pick 5 frames I'd chose
1. Any viable end game damage dealer. Mine would be mirage because I just love her ball and survivalbity with the clones.
2. Frost (defense, mobile defense, interception, exc. Just a great frame to trivialize stand still defend this missions)
3. Volt (capture, exterminate, eidolon bounties exc. Zoom zoom get things done quickly)
I used to love Excalibro but nerfing his exalted blade to just do elemental dmg made him weak, DE took my way of life.
@@henrikmonkee I actually slapped chromatic blade on it the second it existed lol that corrosive and blast is a pretty great combo I found it to be very strong 1 hitting everything up to lv 30 and with primed fury on higher levels it’s crazy
@@firestorm5432 after some formas i started to enjoy my excal until i realized the new eximus changes :(, gonna play again someday after they fix it
Mesmer skin + Mesmer Shield = your squad can also last a lot longer.
I didn't read a single thing, but I agree
Keep her 3rd going with Equilibrium or some purple shards and you'll never run out of energy
I think khora is better for farming materiales than nekros, I used to use nekros before but the best drops comes from survival and defences, both cases khora is a 10 of 10
+1. khora smashes them sp grineers with her accwhipclaw augment. best arachney milframe🙏
I give any new players who ask for advice or clan members a bit more generic advice
And rather than give specific examples I give them a broad category more than 5 for me.
Some frames overlap into several categories. So those are the better choice.
Some of my personal favourites are...
1 AoE frame
Saryn, Volt, Mirage, Ember, Gara
1 Tank frame
Rhino, Revenant, Wukong
1 Loot frame
Nekros, Khora, (Hydroid) mostly because it available earliest
1 Eidolon / PT frame
Volt, Mirage
1 Stealth frame
Ivara, Loki, Octavia
1 Speed frame -Heppit as this is the best Lith relic farm. any capture
Titania, Gauss, Volt, Wukong
1 Armour strip frame - High level/armour, Demolists
Nekros, Hildryn, Ember
1 Support damage, health/armour/shield buff frame
Octavia, Wisp, Citrine, Oberon,, Trinity, Hildryn
1 Objective protector - Mob def, Excavation
Frost, Gara, Oberon
Thx for that list
Underrated frame: Mag
Mag can crowd up people in defence and survival
While in the magnetize area the damage buff starts with 2x, it scales with ability strength.
But most importantly, remember to enjoy playing warframe and play how you want
Rhino rules
Totally agree 😀
Also with Rhino 😜
Havent play for like 2 years, but definetly Saryn, Wukong, Octavia, Nekros and Nidus
I agree with citrine you van take off her 4th and add roar making all her other ability do more damage and her 1 spammed added with her 3 makes her kill very fast
That’s a weird way to pronounce gauss 5 times
Facta
I use Volt Prime for literally everything. I haven't played another frame until Duviri forced me to.
Contrary to popular belief gauss is super good at tridolon and profit taker if you give him roar and use thermal transfer you can buff his damage by ridiculous ammouts
Can you expand upon that? I'm guessing thermal transfer is an augment mod, but road?
@@skudgyy i meant roar
@skudgyy3803 thermal transfer is an augment that give you a bonus 75% hear or cold damage when standing in the the respective thermal sunder element. Roar is just a flat damage bonus that you get from subsuming rhino
I use vauban just so i can use the gearwheel items more often, we often forget that it exists.
You and Ifrostbolt sound exactly the same. Once it's heard, it can never be unheard.
Also, love the content, man!
Thanks a lot for the compliment, Bro
I am still pretty confused about mods in general. where to obtain which? even obtainable as a beginner? what when i finished the star chart? all over again? time for eidolons? open relics to sell prime stuff and buy orokin catalyst/reactor for future equipment? wtf are arcanes? what are all those constantly changing events/missions over all planets and should i do them?... can do this the whole day but i think its just learning by playing^^
Not the best english i know... but i tried xD
Lol yh I feel you
It's simple, you need mesa and nova.
I only play one frame and it's Mag :D
Bro thank you so much for all the help, just started again playing Warframe and man am I lost, but because of your videos everything is coming back to me and I'm starting to enjoy it again, last time I played was in 2014. A lot has changed. Just keep up the good work!
PS. Holy shit, ich wusste nicht das du deutsche bist, dein Englisch und arbeit sind TOP, und man sieht das du dich Mühe gibts!
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment ❤️
I'm really glad I could help you get back into the game 😉
I use volt for fishing.
Personally I consider Inaros to be a must have just to trivialize those escort missions in sorties.
better options than Inaros for escort missions - try revenant
Saryn not being here is crazy
Yeah I probably would toss Octavia out and replace her with Saryn.
You're not wrong
For the average player, all Frame are good. Imo, you just need to have at least Nekros, Khora or Hydroid to farm ressources. For all other types of mission, you can play whoever you like playing.
Some frames are just way better in very specific types of mission or at really high level (steel path).
Underrated TH-camr for newbies for sure❤❤❤
Aaaaw thank you so much for this lovely compliment ❤️ Really glad you enjoy my content so much 😀

4 nekros (loot)
5 revenant
I think titania deserves a slot, she is the best frame to speed through missions, and she has one of the best exalted weapons in the game, as well as decent survivability since she's small meaning a lot of enemies just miss, she has a status clense and damage deflection. And did i mention that she's fast?
the main problem with her is that her prime is vaulted and the best way to get her normal version is from the circuit because farming for her is about as fun as eating sand
also kullervo - reason: redcrits go brr
Wisp is a must have for the view alone😂
Also she makes you a master at playing one handed😂
I have died so much beacuse of my wisp teamats💀😭
Just finished getting the last 52nd frame 3 days ago, now I don’t need to worry about getting bored about my playstyle. The FTP grind is real tho, since I also got all 38 primes
personally i think rhino is a better fit than rev due to a multitude of reasons:
1. incredibly easy to farm.
Ash with the fatal teleport augment is cracked against all non-boss enemies.
hey blacky, could you make a video about focus trees and all that stuff? i honestly have no idea of which one is the best and it’d be great if you did that
there really is no best focus school just see what they have and use which works for sspeffic builds
Sure thing ;)
I'm planning to do a guide on Focus in the near future 😉
