    I hope the Kenyan defense ministry and the military top brass are watching the war in Ukraine and Ethiopia. These days these big machines can easily be destroyed by drones. The future of war is drones, drones, and anti-drone technology. They are small but very effective in deciding who wins the battles. So the APCs and tanks should be supplemented by drones.

    You did good Enoch. Please make a video on our equipment in the DRC. All I see is open jeeps, and vehicles without any armor, which is not very good. When is the heavy gear getting to Congo. I am yet to spot any helicopters or fighter aircraft. I hope this is not what they are calling battle ready. This is suicidal. We will incur heavy causalities, if we do not bring our top gear to the battle field. Thank you for the video.

    I still don't understand why Kenya has never thought of upgrading those old British tanks the first and last time I ever saw them in a jamhuri day parade is way back in the mid 80s around 35 years ago and remember at the time they were probably 10 years old with Kenya army as they were called then until now I've always thought they were already junked along time ago anyway I salute the ordinary soldiers for a job well done despite limitations

      Money, even the US and Russia use tanks from the 1980s and 1970s they just upgrade the tech and armor. Kenya also upgrades them with the help of the UK, US, Israel and Jordan. But I think in the next 10 years Kenya will start production of its own Tanks but with the help of the UK or Israel most likely

    • @johnburugu8967
      @johnburugu8967 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're wrong their equipment don't belong to the bygone era like Kenya s the brand name might be the same but they're new equipment just to mention the Russian they used to have t72s but their new equipment is t90 series even the Americans Abraham tanks have been completely made from down top and secondly this complacent attitude of waiting for British Americans and Israel to upgrade anything for you should stop and I'll give you the reason immediately after independence Kenya with this attitude of waiting for someone to protect it never invested on it's own defense in a misplaced believe that the same Britain Israel and the others will come to it's rescue until when it was rudely a waken by idi amin dada in 1975 when he was claiming half of Kenya all the way to naivasha that's when those tanks and the F5 s were brought in to mitigate the situation so I hope you now understand the folly of not investing in modern equipment and just sitting there ( sina tabu) waiting for others do things for you

      @@johnburugu8967 After 10yrs is when Kenya will most likely start producing its own major weapons systems but now the country can only buy. But I think they want to buy f-15s, missiles, missile launchers, drones and artillery from the US, Turkey and UK. Expensive Tanks are of no use to Kenya as most of their neighbours are allies, but drones, armoured personnel carriers, anti tank, ship and air missile launchers and ships will be a great help to their defence.

    • @johnburugu8967
      @johnburugu8967 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No disrespect,but only fools trust humans a human can change to a monster 💩 on just a trigger of a button So don't depend on good neighbourly theory only On f-15 purchase I guarantee you, you will die waiting for one f-15 is only operated by not more than 5 closest American allies Korea Japan Israel and probably Britain Americans are notorious with selling their weapons not even Egypt has them and don't forget the cost of purchase and operating them they're twins engined guzzlers and very uneconomical to operate for a poor country like Kenya but i can guarantee you Americans will never ever sell them to a country like kenya , during the early days of kibaki regime there was the talk of Kenya airforce purchasing them and mi 28 helos from Russia but I guess maybe they came under pressure from Americans not to and instead they were delivered with those ugly decommissioned hueys helicopters and the little light egg 🥚 light weight punchers while your Peaceful neighbor Uganda went ahead and purchased su27s and as recently as 2 weeks a go purchased the mi 28 helicopters coz they know their destiny is in their hands and not foreign powers about the missiles I guess tanks are more realistic than missile because you will need equipment like a tank or something like it to activate them so what I mean is Kenya has no business sitting down( sina tabu) mentality waiting for Washington to decommission old equipment and transfer them to them and for war I once more guarantee you is coming from Somali
