- For ten years now the Kenya Defence Forces have been in Somalia in operation ‘Linda Nchi’ following an afront to the country’s sovereignty, by the Al Shabaab terror outfit.
The continued stay that has since seen KDF incorporated under the umbrella of the Africa union mission in Somalia (AMISOM) has had its ups and downs. With KDF registering one of its landmark victories against the Al-Shabaab in the south western Somalia town of Hosingow.
It is here that close to 1000 Al Shabaab fighters attacked a KDF camp in a battle that lasted 11 hours and when the guns finally went silent, 300 militants lay dead with not a single soul lost on the KDF side.

KDF begging for contract renewal. AMISOM must leave Somalia. The truth is KDF is not in Somalia to fight AS, they've not moved one inch since they entered Somalia. In Somalia everyone knows KDF is AS major business partner trading in charcoal this is even reported by UN.

I'm here in somalia 🇸🇴and I haven't seen so far Kenyan Defences Forces KDF fighting AS Militants as herros, also they never fought perfectly Indeed they are playing hide and seen in their So called Military bases in the Country!. We recommend to remove KDF from AMISOM

Even American navy seals and the french legions left some of their best soldiers on the battle grounds in Somalia and the Idea KDF fought 11 hours with no casualty 🤔 . Am asking were there some cows ,camels and goats with bullet wounds on the battlefield, it sounds to me KDF beating the shit out of civilians and their livestock.
