Hey Gav! I had the same issue with the tracks on the 1/16th scale tank I was building. I found going to a thicker glue helped, although at that point most of the tracks were messed up.
Ammos white glue is good for doing tracks believe it or not! I know it's white glue but it acts abit different especially when watered down slightly for the capillary action inwas absolutely shocked how well it held my magic tracks together from Dragon so tried it with RFM Tiger tracks worked the same just amazing! Do a run flat a wee blast from the hairdryer 2 seconds and there soft enough to wrap around the running gear to fit without falling apart so I just do them in runs of 10 now with the AMMO ultra glue
Hi Gav, you can try again with Fredrik's tip, then Greg's alternative and if everything is not really satisfactory, you can go over to the Friul tracks. Metal tracks are not without work, but they look really great on the model. Best wishes, Joachim
Hi, Gav, it seems a shame to end up having to layout the extra cost for new tracks. I've heard some modellers use PVA glue, but it's something I wouldn't do, not on tracks anyway. Did you wash the tracks in detergent first, sometimes this can help?
Hi Greg sorry i did answer this five days ago and now it says i didn't , i have to admit i didn't wash the tracks but i did wipe them over with i.p.a . There will be a solution and Greg Riley is sending me some Takom tracks too so its getting built one way or another . Regards Gav.

Hi Gav, i bought this kit recently and the tracks are slightly different in design on mine. its the first tank ive done with this type of track and ive f*cked them up it would seem, maybe a bit too much glue and they are a bit rigid. Bending them into shape just sees them snap on the join! bah. i think im going Fruil to resolve...this kit is BIG as well, the metal tracks will add to its weightyness and might!

Yes but your metal tracks are ACDC and Deff Leopard ! Charlie would chuck them in the smoker they would come out nice and welded together covered in mop sauce ! Regards Gav.
I did have a little trouble until i decided to build the parts around the wheels straight and before they dry bend around sprocket, using tamiya liquid glue
Shame about the trqcks Gav. Maybe its a dud cast/sprue? Had a P51 where one wheel leg just wouldn't glue. 99% of the kit was fine though. Maybe contact hobbyboss for replacement before buying metal?
I’ll send the ferrets in their tactical gear marra they will have them plastic tracks together in a few minutes but I’m not responsible if they don’t look like tracks when they are done and cinnamon would probably get glued in between them
Dont know if it will work with these - some tracks are just rubbish and bad for mojo - but maybe tape will work while you assemble them? Like in my vlog 3 on the t-55 build, see if that works before spending the Monies on fruil tracks mate. Granted, like you Said the miniart Ones were quite good. Keep up the good work mate 👍🏻 /Fredrik
I did a quick TH-cam search. There are a couple of other people building the same model. Perhaps one of those vids might give you some kind of a visual tip?
