- A fun as well as LONG build. I edited it down as much as I could to show the full process as much as possible. I hope you like it.

Great Build
Great camouflage paint job.
Thanks mate. I appreciate it
Hell of a lot of work! Like that white coat. Really nice effect when you rub it off. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Cheers!
A very tidy build. Great work with the layering of the camo scheme and winter whitewash. Beautiful work all round
Thank you very much!
Spot on .
Nice work, looks great! Looking forward to your next project!
Little trick for the decals add a bit of pva glue to the water then they stick alot better. Nice to see you back at the bench
Thanks for the tip! Nice to be back thanks mate
I don't usually watch long videos (attention span of a goldfish) but this sure kept me watching! A lovely build and a great tutorial on build/paint techniques. FWIW, I actually enjoyed it without music. Sorry. Well done Andrew and welcome back!
No problem at all. I appreciate the feedback ❤ Glad you enjoyed it. I wasn't sure about a long video of me just yapping away lol.
Bloody awesome mate , absolutely love it
Thank you! Cheers!
As always, an awesome build sir....hope i can build that thick guy as awesome as your build sir
Great looking work on this King Tiger, Andrew. Very nice to see such work.
Also, your nice and very well executed work in the small scale is really worth to be watch.
Great work in every case. Greetings, Joachim
Thank you very much!
Very nice work Andrew!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hairspray is more trouble than its worth. Sponge chipping all the way. Once mastered it looks like hairspray but with more control
Nice looking cat,I do like a big tiger 😁👍
Same here
what a sexy king tiger!
Great video! I have that decal set of zimmerit, so I think I'll have to get that kit just so I can use them! As for how you say decals, don't sweat it! Cripes, we've been saying DEE-cals in the states for as long as I've been alive. First time I heard it said DEK-els was a US guy say it that way on one of his videos. He was an Anglophile or something. Recently, I heard it pronounced de-CALS. Weird. Suffice it to say you are pronouncing it correctly... like an American! LAL
Seriously, very enjoyable video, Andrew.
Getting ready to build this exact same kit. Might I ask why there are two different colors of plastic? I know the first version was all reddish brown plastic but the newer one I have is tan plastic. As for the Zimmerit, I have the same set by Meng but I'm thinking of grabbing the Atak version.
Good question. Honestly I am not sure why the manufacturer chose to use two different colours during the production. I can't really see any difference from sticking with the same colour for the whole build.
@@andrewsartscalemodels It was just unusual to see. I have a newer version of the kit which is all tan and I have the first run of the kit which was red brown plastic plus came with a metal barrel. I notice they still supply the boring looking figures in the newer version as well.
Is there a chance for these zimmerit decals to fall of when handling the model during its build and paint process?
Potentially. Bed them in well and give the model a coat of lacquer clear and it should be fine
@@andrewsartscalemodels do you think adding a little CA glue on the edges to reinforce it is a good idea?
@@GeorgiGeorgiev-sm3lx it's been a while since I did this model. I actually think I did that on some pieces. But only edges
@@andrewsartscalemodels thanks! Will use the advices you give in the video
@GeorgiGeorgiev-sm3lx more than welcome mate. Best of luck.
trust me! Ill take rubber tracks anyday! I hate individual tracks too!!!!!
Yeah they are a pain 🤣
