    I love the word “independent “. As a former detective Michael, I greatly appreciate you speaking up about this. The problem is not just Coster however, it is also executive members of police that have become radicalised as activists for the left. Former police commissioner, Mike Bush kicked the lefts agenda off in earnest, and Coster ran hard towards the try line when he was passed the ball. Getting rid of Coster would be a good start but other executive members both sworn and nonsworn need to be exited forthwith once he is.

    I've noticed that we New Zealanders never use the word corruption when speaking of our own country. But we need to get real... Coster hiring activists to report a biased conclusion is corruption. Pure and simple corruption. Corruption is defined as... "corrupt or dishonest proceedings." or "perversion of integrity." Coster is guilty on both counts.

    FFS. I drove a taxi in Auckland for 13 years, I owned and ran a cafe in Auckland for the next 6 years, then I built houses for 8 years, and then I did renovations and building work for people. The only problems I had, driving taxis, in the cafe, and doing building work for people, were with Maori people. Them trying to not pay or punch me in the taxis (ex champion boxer so I surprised them a bit) them making a mess and not taking responsibility for it in the cafe, and them not paying for work done, until I made them, with the building work - (I make everyone pay in advance now, saves the hassles). Obviously I had many Maori passengers, customers and clients over the years who were perfectly normal people, but the fact is, all, every one, of the problems i encountered, were with Maori people. If a crime is committed it should be prosecuted, no matter who committed that crime. Coster has shown his unwillingness to act without fear or favour and instead to act more as a benevolent uncle. He has no place in a modern Police Force because his attitude only encourages crime. As we all see on a daily basis.

Also what is interesting (and again your comment should be addressed to Mark Mitchell/ Min. of Police) - because he has been asked the question - "How many have left (for Australia) .."to which he replied - nothing to see here"! Coster is a disgrace. How he handled the Wellington Freedom Camp was criminal, and there should be an inquiry into the way the peaceful protesters were attacked, beaten, gas bombs, sprayed in your eyes...innocent old and young people, they didn't care. No police ID numbers or names were all covered up. Now that is not normal practice or legal, you must show your ID number. I will never trust the police again or the government for their major role in the abuse, the Freedom Camp was shown by the very people who work for the New Zealand citizens...the police and the Ardern government are the biggest gang in NZ. I don't believe the government has changed. I challenge the new government to start an inquiry.

    Was Coster influential in ending the long running TV series Police 10-7? Portraying compulsive liars, crooks, thieves and thugs on colour TV must have been hard for him to swallow. Dog Squad, Coast Watch, and Border Patrol must be regarded by him as racist too. He'd have had Captain Cook banged up for life if he had a time machine, for destroying the former paradise of New Zealand. (The 80 roa name hadn't been invented then.) Ruined the booming shrunken head export trade.

    • @Empathiclistener
      @Empathiclistener หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Actually, during the Adern government one of the Maori Party MPs (I think it was) complained that Police 10-7 was showing too many Maori offenders and making the race look bad. Although there was no evidence the program was showing a disproportionate number of Maori offenders, thereafter it showed mainly white offenders. That was actual racism, providing a false portrayal of the frequency of white offending. Prior to that the portrayal was probably accurate.

  • @robinlecomte1242

    On the basis of what has "been disclosed by Michael", I am not disputing the data, but what interests me, is are we, here in New Zealand, starting to see "a lean toward Maori, by the NZ Police, as being a separate entity on a Legal platform". The reason I pose this question, is that in England "a 2 tier Policing issue has arisen and brought to the attention of the UK Public" (and anyone who surfs YT, will have seen the multitude of posted videos on this) - whereby the Police there are "more" sympathetic to the Muslim Community ignoring their illegal actions, yet the rest of the population gets "lots of Police attention" - this action predates recent riots. Are we, now going to see the same actions, implemented and led by Commissioner Coster? Keep in mind the Police "are supposedly undertaking Hate Speech Training", something "denied" by Mark Mitchell, yet our Police have staff who are in constant contact with those "who report hate speech violations (yes here in NZ)"- in England & Scotland- they do have that Law, that is strongly enforced, by the Police.
