Same here. Both teachers, me and my husband. Both thrown out. Lost career. Lost savings. Lost friends. Lost family members. His rant made me cry. Went to the protest. Spoke with nurses, osteopaths, physio's, doctors, surf life-savers, kids who could no longer train or compete in their sports, mid-wives. The sheer scale of social damage done was so obvious to me then, and it still lingers. We should NEVER forget or forgive. We should expect an official SORRY from our Government though.

Agreed, but on grounds of deceit not intent. At a certain level, money is only created or destroyed, the US dollar being as a system of measurement. Imagine trying to build a house wherein all materials are in different units of measurement, 70% of USD residing outside of the US in the Eurodollar system. There're many tweaks & manipulations one can implement as patches, changing bank designations from bank lending to holding status bypassing congressional vote approval on FED action. Writing derivatives to book and not market is another example. All countries through government and banks debase the money, it's why a coke cost 5c in the 1950s. The one thing it seems that cannot be diluted is DEFLATION. If the banks fail governments go broke, governments being the largest employer. It's the symbiotic nature between govt & banking in our debt based fiat currency system. There's your answer to those hypocrites who never asked why your houses broke new highs year after year.

Dame Jacinda Ardern does indeed have a lack of self-awareness, and she does need to apologise to New Zealanders. When I learned of her proposed project of empathy and kindness, I was so angry. Thank you, Michael, for expressing my deepest pains and hurts toward the woman who won't leave us alone. Perhaps cups of tea and a lie down would be appropriate along either time to reflect upon the suffering caused to others.
We have to live with the aftermath of her leadership, and the country is ruined.

I think John Key has to be considered for the title as the PM who concluded that immigration was the path forward, rather than improving productivity.
