You also mentioned praying in the direction of Yemen, the black stone in Kaaba has a corner called the Yemeni corner which Muslims have to touch. From seeing all the evidence, I believe it started as a political opposition and then used religion to solidify its ground. If you notice, people tend to be more loyal when they belong to religion. Since Islam was an afterthought, that's why it has all those mistakes. I have always wondered why the crescent moon plays a significant role that they put it on the minarets of the mosque but Muslims have no answers.
It seems anything where power and unanswered questions are involved, people turn it into a religion. Just look at climate change and the religiously held beliefs by the "saved" ones who repent and pray at the sorted rubbish heaps on the altar of sustainable development. They even have their own little satan, the carbon dioxide that will permeate the very air we breath and put the world on eternal fire. Is there something at the root of our psychology that makes us turn to such archetypes for solace and security? If it happens in our day and age, after the scientific revolution and with all the gadgets we have to measure facts and data, guess what it must have done to the people back then, who really had nobody to tell them anything else.
The Crescent and Morning Star was a late addition to Islam (13th Century), but it was popularized by the Ottomans, who adopted it. The symbol is considerably older. There seems to be a particular connection to the kingdom of Pontus, and with the mysterious and sinister goddess Hecate, who was originally Anatolian before being taken up by the Greeks.
@@clicerio2 ?? Them why does Ramadan start with the crescent moon. The Arabs cheif god was Allah the moon god. Arabia is dry so there main god (allah) has to deal with the moon. The moon control the cycling of water. In Europe they worship the sun because it's cold
@agus kurniawan jom they even have hadiths that say Muhammad use to copy. Sahih al-Bukhari 5917 Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to copy the people of the Scriptures in matters in which there was no order from Allah. The people of the Scripture used to let their hair hang down while the pagans used to part their hair. So the Prophet (ﷺ) let his hair hang down first, but later on he parted it.
There is also the name for the "call to prayer" in Arabic (Athan or Adan or Azan), which is derived from the Sabian afternoon prayer, where the cleric stands and calls the "idaan, idaan, idaan" (three times), which means in Sabian and Syriac ("it's" time, "it's" time, "it's" time.. literally from the verb count)
Who copied whom? You've got it wrong. Islam existed since the beginning and our forefather Adam (AS) was a 'muslim', so was Noah, Lot , Abraham and many other true prophets. So if the Sabians performed salat as we do then that is fine and goes to show that Islam existed since before.
@@MichaelaEV "Yaweh" is the same God, Lord, Creator as "Allah". Hebrew and Arabic are sister languages. Now, if we were to know the nature of Yaweh then it would defeat the purpose of the test and trials that we humans are or have to go through here on earth ( the apple ,Adam and Eve). In Islam, our Lord has attributes and that is it. He has given us a reason why we are here and a Law by which we are to live and thats it. We will however see our Lord on the Day of Judgement. To come to our Lord, you have to come to the original scripture and teachings of the prophets. Think about it.....the prophet's scriptures, did they have an expiry date?? So why new things have come in??
Fascinating fact. Almost everything was copied from from someone and somewhere else. Even copied from the wrong things, like copying from Jewish writings that are just rabbis conjectures like a person who kills another being like one who killed mankind and one who saves one being like a saviour of all mankind - as though you can kill someone and be the worst person ever, but then save one other and be the greatest saint. The Jews always built their newer understanding and teaching on the foundation of what was already known, but Islam builds on shifting sand by making whatever comes later more important with its doctrine of abrogation.

In Zarostorian religious history and books books you can find some of these names like Ishtar On the other side in old Persian mysteries stories you will find about ancient moon god which was strong and popular and it had some specific event or relation with the month December (obviously 3rd week of December); On the other hand you can find out about the story of Mohammad from Islamic view which claims: the existing Mekka was surrendered and took over by Mohajiroon (Mohamad and his army) in the month of Ramadan! And the interesting part is that you can find that since that time they claimed that Their god is greater than other gods even due in the meantime they would claim there is no other god except their god 🤦🏻♂️ I just got confused how? There is no god except theirs and their god is greater than other gods 🤯
You seem very confused about God. It is easier to worship one God than be an adherent of several/false deities. See, some deities are no more eg the Greco-Roman pantheons!! Who worships them today?? Similarly who worships the deities of Amurabi, Gilgamesh, Pharoahs and others today?? Also don't you think that if there was a pantheon of deities that they would fight amongst themseves?? And we would be having a war in the skies!! Something that is true will always stand, no matter what anybody says or does against it. What you see is Satan's whisperings, constantly diverting man on the wrong path.
@@mohabatkhanmalak1161 would you please see Quran and what is says in 33:56? A God himself instead of blessing his messenger is praying to him?! And in 41:9-11 you will find that this god is saying he created the earth in 2 days and then turned out and asked the earth to join with the smoke which is not created heaven !!! Without any tafsir (interpretation) created after few centuries can quran itself explain this contradict?
@@mohabatkhanmalak1161 Right it is easier to worship 1 God eternally existing in 3 persons than have the fake trinity in Islam. In Islam you are also told that the word of Allah will testify in the last judgement, so is personal and must have existed from when Allah began to think so must be eternal, just like Allah, and you also have the spirit of Allah, who is likewise a conscious entity and can be with all Muslims everywhere to strengthen them and is omnipresent as only Allah can be. So by denying the Christian trinity you end up with 3 separate gods, and then we see riots and protests about the image of Muhammad while newspapers all over the west print cartoons supposedly of God and we never hear a word against it outside the mosque, so you have elevated the image of Muhammad above that of God in importance. Even the prayers get the wording wrong and you end up speaking to Muhammad alongside Allah when you pray saying "peace be upon YOU o Prophet. .". You need to come back to a God who is truly one, who is one God in essence and whose Word, though part of the One True God has his own personality; and likewise whose Spirit remains part of the same God despite having his separate personality. This is a God who makes sense. This God has love and compassion between the persons of Himself. This God does not need others to express these attributes as Allah would. Both love and compassion need to have objects so Allah being just one person would NEED others to express these attributes of what are supposed to be eternal names of Allah.

I sipped tea in the shade in Harran after seeing the ruins of the mosque that was built over the ancient Temple of Sin, the Moon god. Supposedly, the people here were the Sabians, who were among “the people of the Book.”
According to most sources, the Ahl al-Kitāb (People of the Book) are the Christians, Jews, Sabians, and Zoroastrians to a slightly lesser extent. Christians and Jews are more specifically repudiated. The Mandean connection with the Sabians make them part of the Abrahamic continuum, but they are definitely a lesser group, even on the Qur’an.
I loved living in Turkey, especially for its history and archaeology. The region where Harlan is has a particular interest. It is northern Mesopotamia, and it was the staging area for Semites, such as the Chaldeans, who overran southeastern Mesopotamia. Urfa (Sanliurfa) is thought by some to be “Ur of the Chaldees,” who invaded what is now considered Chaldea in the 10th Century. It is so easy to get on long digressions, so pardon me, but it brings Chaldeans, Amorites, Hittites and other peoples together. There are tales of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, confrontations with Nimrod and the well and tomb of Job. Göbekli Tepe, the world’s oldest temple, and Nevali Çorli, which is a close second, are both nearby. I and some others believe the Garden of Eden was in this now dry land of cracked earth.
Thank you Mel and Dr Jay. This is very interesting about the moon Sin which goes back to Babylonian times. What we see though as well the moon Sin and the Star (I think Ishtar) on the coins from the days of the Umayyads and to this day Muslim countries like Turkey, Algeria, Azrebejan, Malaysia, etc. have both pagan symbols of the god of the moon and the star of Ishtar on their national flags.
i always thought the Nabataen / Sumarian moon god / diety originated from this sequence: BEL>BA'AL>LIL>ENLIL>BE'IL>ILAH>AL-UZZA>AL-ILAH>AL'ILAH>IL-HALLABU> ALLAH. What does Mel think?and you of course Jay.. both do great work.
Immanuel Velikovsky had a lot to say about the worship of the Sun, Moon and the Planets in the ancient world, especially Venus. He also argued that the Muslim crescent symbol could also mean Venus, which can be observed to have a crescent shape with the naked eye under pristine conditions. www.scientiapress.com/venus-the-ancient-near-east-and-islam "Venus and Islam What effect did the Venus cult have on early Islam? First, although much has been made of the sexual nature of Ishtar, in fact she was originally a fearsome goddess of war. Over time Ishtar came to be associated with fertility as the chief goddess of the ancient Semites and thereby gained the sexual attributes. In other words, Ishtar was above all a planetary goddess, a giant comet initially traversing the heavens in an awesome manner. We may surmise that, as Venus slowly lost its tail and became more and more simply a bright planet, and as it circularized its orbit and ceased interacting with the Earth, it became less feared. Eventually, led by Mohammed, himself originally an Ishtar-worshipper, the Arabs proved willing to abandon their worship of Venus. The center of the Venus cult was the black Kaaba stone at Meccakaaba, presumably a meteorite that had fallen from the tail of Venus.1 Mohammed is said to have ruled that the rituals around the Kaaba were a pious practice and could continue as part of the Haj. Another symbol of Venus also found its way into Islam: the horns of the Bull of Heaven were placed atop the mosquesal Bahr mosque, Jaffa of the new religion (as in this image of al-Bahr Mosque, Jaffa), though soon the explanation that they represented the crescent of the Moon led many new mosques farther away from Mecca to adopt a configuration of a tilted crescent. (As a parallel, as the eve of Sabbath comes, and with it the appearance of Venus, Jews sing greetings to the Sabbath Queen.) Lastly, a key component of the approaches of Venus-that the Earth turned over four times-evidently entered into Arab folklore only to reemerge as the Islamic teaching that on the Judgment Day the Sun would rise in the West. Then the time of repentance was past. The sentence in Sura 55 of the Koran “Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests!” fits the same pattern. In other words, a correct understanding of the approaches of Venus in the Bronze Age can help us better to understand both the Ancient Near East and the origins of Islam."
Interesting research. The only thing that I can think of off the top of my head right now is @12:46 about the takbir. As far as I understand the adjective 'akbar' (أكبر) is in the superlative form and so means 'greatest'. It would only mean 'greater' if it was in the form 'Allahu akbar min..' (...الله أكبر من) which would mean 'Allah is greater than...'. But 'akbar' on it's own means 'greatest'. And so, to my understanding, this would not in any way suggest that the takbir would necessarily come from a pagan environment because it would simply mean that Allah is greater than anything in existence. But otherwise, I'll see if there is anything else I can think of haha
Even if the Muslims wish to continue to use the 'narrative' they will have to acknowledge all that had been assembled and shift their dance to be in the 'North' over what has been their dance all these years. It may be dragging a ship wreck when they re-establish it.
If you want to subjugate a people , the best way would be to assume their cultural beliefs into a grander belief system that accommodates older traditions while offering something new......and this option would take some of the anxiety out of the choice between becoming muslim or losing your head .
17:44 Fasting is a common stuff since Christianity. "Mandeans According to different traditions and influences, the times of the daily prayers *vary between three, five and seven* . Like the Christians, the Mandaeans honour the Sunday, or in Mandaic the “first day of the week” (hab«aba). The religious calendar follows the sun and has six festivals: the New Year (Dihba rba or Nauruz rba), the Little New Year (Nauruz zu†a), the Little Feast (Dihba hnina or Dihba tirma), the Ashuriya, the Pansha or Parwanaiya (the five intercalar days or Epagomenae; the main feast at the end of the year), and the Baptismal Feast (Dihba daimana)." On your map at 11:23 you guys have put Ur in the area of Harran. It's ruins are in southern Iraq near the tip of the Persian gulf not near Harran. Have a look at the map in this film at 7:14. and look at the bottom right corner. There is Ur in it's correct location.
Good luck. I pointed that out in a previous conversation. The authors don't seem to want to address it. I couldn't get any reasons from them as to why they wanted to put Ur near Harran instead of where it's ruins actually are. I guess it doesn't hurt their narrative one way or the other.

I was reading a book called "History of Heresies and their Refutations by Saint Alfonso Maria de' Ligouri" Translated in English by Rev.Dr.Mullock. He describes a heretic group called Messalians. The Messalians are sometimes called Enthusiasts or Adelphians(The name of the Founder). This Heresy came from Mesopotamia and was established in Antioch by 386 A.D. From pg:100-101: "they never fasted, and used to eat at an early hour in the morning-a practice totally opposed to the Oriental manner of fasting" . This is somewhat similar to Ramadan fast.
Many thanks for this video. A couple of late-on thoughts… 1) Given the evidence of Christian monophysite/miaphysite orientation in Islam’s origins, I have been reading of fasts in the Oriental (not to be confused with Eastern) Orthodox church, and wonder if these may have a bearing on the topic of “al-fitr”/“al-feter” (these words would, I guess, be the term for any fast undertaken by people of that shared language). Oriental Orthodox Christianity lists very many annual fasts, ‘way beyond a single month that might be the equivalent of Ramadan, though part of the Lenten and the Holy Week fasts might have been comparable… Though the SIN cannot be relied upon, I did check on what dates of the Julian and Gregorian calendars the first Ramadan fast and Eid al-Fitr theoretically began (the traditional Julian calendar is that used by the Oriental Orthodox Church), and how these might relate to Easter. Unless my calculations are incorrect (entirely possible!), the first Ramadan fast according to the SIN would have begun on 26th February 623 by the Julian calendar and 29th February _624_ by the Gregorian calendar, and the first Eid al-Fitr would have begun on 27th March _624_ by the Julian calendar and 30th March ditto by the Gregorian calendar (in the traditional Julian calendar (there are variants of the Julian calendar), a new year might not begin on 1st January), not likely to be a period of literal “burning heat” on this occurrence of Ramadan in the lunar Hijri calendar. Though I am unable to resolve the matter clearly and it may be irrelevant, this first Eid of the SIN appears close to Easter and the breaking of the Lenten fast. Of course, the lunar Hijri calendar and traditional Julian calendar do _not_ remain in this kind of synchrony. 2) Christianity has often historically adopted aspects of local culture, such as in where churches were built and the timing of Christmastide, converting these to its own rites of worship.
I heard Christian Prince say that the Kaaba has a corner that is called Yemeni corner and another that's called iraqi corner. He also said the Yemeni corner is the one that contains the black stone which was brought from a temple to the moon god in Yemen. Is there any think like it for the Iraqi corner. If so, then that's another direct link to the north.
I will add one supporting fact to Mel's argument. from Al-Qur'an: Q:2:183. Quote, "...as it was decreed upon those before you..." It was confirmed that fasting was from a previous tradition, i.e. it was not introduced new to Islam.
Ishmael was born and brought up in Abraham's household. Some 13 years later, however, Sarah conceived Isaac, with whom God established his covenant. Isaac became Abraham's sole heir, and Ishmael and Hagar were banished to the desert, though God promised that Ishmael would raise up a great nation of his own.

Jay and Mel, I'd like to add something in connection with the takbir in the celebration of Eid al-Fitr (shown in your presentation at min. 12:45 to 15:28), i.e., that even to the present time, the main takbir said during the feast of Eid al-Fitr, lacks the second part of the shahada (about Muhammad is the messenger of Allah) but contains only the first (Allah is greater, there is no deity but Allah). Does not this fact itself reinforce the point you are making namely that the ramadhan fasting and the followed celebration of Eid al-Fitr originated from Haran in the North, is connected with the moon god as the greater of all gods, and has been observed since long before the common era, and therefore, has nothing to do with Muhammad?
is there some connections between Sabeans & Sabians or between those both and Sheba? Because in arabic سبأ and صبأ also سبئيين and صابئيين both words have a similar pronunciation in some way?

The research here is remarkable. Here is my concern. If I were a Muslim, I would remark that Allah sent prophets to all peoples to teach then to worship him properly. To say that the Ramadan fast is borrowed, and that is a negative thing, would deny that the king of Babylon was acting as a prophet, bringing his people to right behavior towards the ;greater god;. Mohammed, under the inspiration of Allah, saw this practice as being part of the prophetic tradition from Allah, and guided by Allah, included it in his practice.

@trevor smith I'm graduated in History. Look at "Harran" in Wikipedia. Then subscribe to academia.edu (it's free...) Then there search for Syriac Christianity. Regarding Islam, mention should have been made that a surah of the Quran begins with the words "Ya Sin" which is arguably a reference to the moon god Sin. Wondering also if the SIN view that Dhul Qarnain is a reference to Alexander the Great is really a reference to the moon god Sin? Regarding Judaism, Sinai (Sin + Ai (mountain) Mountain of Sin) and synagogue (spelled 'sinagog' in Israel) meaning "temple of Sin'. are also references to the moon god Sin. Depictions of Moses with a long flowing beard and horns exactly match depictions and portrayals of the moon god Sin. Regarding Christianity, looking forward to your one-day applying the same methodology and scrutiny to the standard Christian narrative in the manner that Jospeh Atwill in "Caesar's Messiah" and others have been doing.

The sole purpose of calendar is time keeping for seasons. If the seasons doesn't fall in same days every year what is the purpose of a calendar? All the lunar calendar of the world were luni solar calendar. They all have inter calary days or months to compensate the gap between a pure lunar year and a pure solar calendar. From China to Egypt all had luni solar calendars in the past. Adding Leap days or months or intercalary as they call days or months were different according to different traditions. But basic concept was same in all those calendar and that was to follow a pattern which allow them to predict seasons in advance. Because for agriculture navigation travelling everything seasons were important. You don't want to travel in harsh season that may lead to bad health or death. Proto Islam had the luni solar calendar which was in practice throught Iran to Israel. But abbasids get rid of that addition of few days in lunar calendar to match to solar year. Since then the Islamic calendar is revolving in all the seasons every few years.

what's the difference between a babylonian "godhead" and "god"? Is it inverted to have the "moon" god male and "sun" god as female? The pagan spring fertility festivals in europe had rites of circling around the maypole, I believe for the sun and moon gods, does the babylonian circling the kaaba come from the same? Does the muslim crescent moon and three stars banner/flag come from Sin, Shamash, Ishtar and Adda? So is the god-head of the babylonian jews/ arabs = Sin/Allah, Shamash/al-Uzza, Ishtar/al-Lat, Adda/Manat? So the babylonian moon "king of the gods" and his 3 daughter gods? That would make allah like zeus, "king angel" over the fallen angels -- did the cult of islam enter pergamum (where is located the throne of Satan)? This is pretty exciting, I remember that the Canaanite city Jericho, is named after 'Yarikh', so the "city of the moon".
Why are Christians doing so much work, finding, matching, and presenting? I, for one, look at Islam as a brother religion whose origins have become scrambled in time and we want to uncover what really happened--the truth--about their origins. Our thanks is that one day Muslims will know the truth and be able to build, or re-build from there--whatever they want to do. We would welcome them to join us in our religion, but only if it is their choice. Our success will be their happiness and joy in knowing what is real and the origins of their beliefs. Our job will not be finished until the Muslims understand the origins of their beliefs and which stories are real, and which people are their true heroes. Remember, when Abd al-Malik first asked if the Arabs ever had a prophet, only one of his men had heard of a prophet to the Arabs, centuries before, but he did not know the name, nor what that prophet did. And Al-Malik at that point had to recreate everything from anything anyone had known about the prophet or the religion, Many, many people worked on that project until things began to make sense and the Arabs were taught what was believed was their old religion. The unity thus achieved helped them defeat the Byzantines and create their own empire. But unease had settled in over time and Christian organizations jumped in to help wherever they could. Eventually, it will not matter what religion anyone has--we will all love each other as brothers.
Do your research properly, there are no animal sacrifices at Eid ul Fitr, animal sacrifices are made on Eid ul adha. There is no evidence that the pre-Islamic Arabs fasted for a month. Month long fasting was introduced by Mohammed based on the laws of the 3rd century prophet Mani.
Absolute nonsense. A month of fasting was taken from the Manicheans whom the best friend of prophet Mohammed, Salman the Farsi, had bought with him. Salman had been a Zoroastrian, a Nestor Christian and lived with the Manicheans and knew their customs well. Salman was the "Angel Gabriel" who bought most of the divine revelations. Mohammed himself had also visited Syria and saw these customs and copied them into Islam. A month of fasting before harvest time was a way of life for most subsistence farming communities in this area including the Harranians, Mandaens etc as most grain supplies had run out or were running short before the new harvest. Marwan the Ummayad Khalif built many mosques including in Mecca, Medina and Al Aqsa in Jerusalem.
Jews are monotheists too but the scriptures are full of references to other gods. Jesus even mentioned the fact that David said, "Ye are gods". Jehovah is God almighty. He is the Highest! But if I say that, do I believe there are other gods? No... but kinda. The Apostle Paul condemned the Corinthians for eating meat sacrificed to idols (gods) and said that, in fact, those idols are demons. We monotheists talk of other gods all the time.
Ye are gods, because the the angels of the divine council had to be fair and use God’s compass of Judgement when they went forth into the lands and reported . Eg, the Angel who was stopped by the price of Persia , who then was silenced by micheal . Also judges were called gods. Because they had to pass judgement based upon His Law . So they were acting on behalf of the Most High , whose prerogative is judgement. So they were called the gods.
The sabian religion is a monotheistic religion at it's origin but they divided into many sects like every religion . The sect of the sabians the moon worshippers you are talking about has nothing to do with islam . The sabians related to the islamic text are the mandaeans you purposely refuse to talk about because they are monotheists and followers of John the baptist and hate jesus christ peace be upon both. It is dishonest of you to say the muslim fast has pagan origin. In islam no one worships the moon it is just a mean to know when the fast starts and end. Didn't Jesus fast for 40 days? Did he copy that from pagans? Didn't the prophets of the old testament fast? Were they pagans? None of the 2 islamic sources called the feast after ramadan iid al-fitr not in the quran nor in a hadith. First your source misquoted ibn al-naddim he said عيد فطر السبعة وفطر الشهر Meaning the feast of the seven and the feast of the month. He called it fitr because in arabic it means breaking the fast. An arab christian who drink or eat after fasting will call it fitr. So there is no big deal about the word fitr it is just arabic. God said in the quran that fasting was prescribed to those because the muslims . The jews fast jesus fasted john the baptist and his followers fasted according to the bible and the original sabians took it from him because their religion mainly comes from him. Are all these pagans? It is a shame really to make your sources haters who lie about islam and know nothing about it. Here are info about the sabians of the quran. Source: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandaeism Mandaeism or Mandaeanism (Arabic: مَنْدَائِيَّة, Mandāʾīyah), also known as Sabaeanism (Arabic: صَابِئِيَّة, Ṣābiʾīyah), is a monotheistic and gnostic religion[1]:4 with a strongly dualistic cosmology. Its adherents, the Mandaeans, revere Adam, Abel, Seth, Enos, Noah, Shem, Aram, and especially John the Baptist. The Mandaeans have been counted among the Semites and speak a dialect of Eastern Aramaic known as Mandaic. The name 'Mandaean' is said to come from the Aramaic manda meaning "knowledge", as does Greek gnosis.[2][3] Within the Middle East, but outside of their community, the Mandaeans are more commonly known as the Arabic: صُبَّة Ṣubba (singular: Ṣubbī) or Sabians. The term Ṣubba is derived from the Aramaic root related to baptism, the neo-Mandaic is Ṣabi.[4] Occasionally, Mandaeans are called "Christians of Saint John".[5] In the Quran, the "Sabians" (Arabic: الصَّابِئُون, aṣ-Ṣābiʾūn) are mentioned three times alongside Jews and Christians... originated sometime in the first three centuries CE, in either southwestern Mesopotamia or the Syro-Palestinian area.[6] However, some scholars take the view that Mandaeanism is older and dates from pre-Christian times.... The religion has been practised primarily around the lower Karun, Euphrates and Tigris and the rivers that surround the Shatt-al-Arab waterway, part of southern Iraq and Khuzestan Province in Iran...
@Fleur Krans then the bible has nothing to do with judaism as well. You borrowed most of your stuffs from judaism and roman pagan religions. That's the reality
Much of Catholicism is based on Paganism as well (which is one of the evidences that Catholicism is not Christian). From Mother and Child worship, to Holy Days (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc.), to the clergy itself, these are all items derived from Paganism. Fortunately, the raw form of Christianity has no such elements.
I don't mind you criticizing islam but what i do mind is the false pagan trinity and i don't think you have to be a muslim to believe that why not be a unitarian christian (biblical) and still think islam is false
The research gets better and better. Mel, your 0 to 5 quantitative assessment / methodology is the mark of a true researcher!
Thanks Mel and Jay! Great work.
It's the moon god n his daughter. It's pre islamic pagan worship. The chief idiol is call allah.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5917
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to copy the people of the Scriptures in matters in which there was no order from Allah.

In Zarostorian religious history and books books you can find some of these names like Ishtar
On the other side in old Persian mysteries stories you will find about ancient moon god which was strong and popular and it had some specific event or relation with the month December (obviously 3rd week of December);
On the other hand you can find out about the story of Mohammad from Islamic view which claims: the existing Mekka was surrendered and took over by Mohajiroon (Mohamad and his army) in the month of Ramadan! And the interesting part is that you can find that since that time they claimed that Their god is greater than other gods even due in the meantime they would claim there is no other god except their god 🤦🏻♂️
I just got confused how?

I don't think the Sabians are the same as the People of the Book. The quran mentioned the Sabians as a distinct group from the Jews and the Christians
That's cool that you were actually there.

Immanuel Velikovsky had a lot to say about the worship of the Sun, Moon and the Planets in the ancient world, especially Venus. He also argued that the Muslim crescent symbol could also mean Venus, which can be observed to have a crescent shape with the naked eye under pristine conditions.
www.scientiapress.com/venus-the-ancient-near-east-and-islam
"Venus and Islam
What effect did the Venus cult have on early Islam?
(As a parallel, as the eve of Sabbath comes, and with it the appearance of Venus, Jews sing greetings to the Sabbath Queen.)
Lastly, a key component of the approaches of Venus-that the Earth turned over four times-evidently entered into Arab folklore only to reemerge as the Islamic teaching that on the Judgment Day the Sun would rise in the West.
Excellent explanation. Thanks for sharing.
But otherwise, I'll see if there is anything else I can think of haha
line 25 of Nabinidus inscription: Iatribu = Yathrib (Medinat-ul nabi)

That site Telanganamata.com is from south indian state Telangana which is source for Ramadan fasting

13:20 Ibn al Nadim sees history through the prism of the Mecca/Prophet history and the Quran: as it is speaking of "Sabians" , he cannot not speaking of them.
What do these Imams do, the ones carrying Doctor Titles in Islamic Studies? Just this year, Mel & Murad unearthed many sources that do not paint well the Origins of Islam. It looks that Shiites Persians (Muslims of the North) began Islam. Is this True? This might explain the animosity between Shiites & Sunnis, Sunnis wanting to claim that Islam was sourced in Hijaz and NOT the other way around. Did Elias Ibn Qabisa ever become a Muslim?
We are not 100% sure what he was. He may have been an Abrahamist, a Nestorian or a Gnostic. It is hard to say.
please does Mel have a website??

20:36 Nothing fits Mel, I'm sorry: Harran is a Christian city since the 2nd max 3rd c. The ancients gods are forgotten.
@trevor smith I'm not Muslim. I'm just a (graduated) scholar who correct Mel and his fantasies.
@trevor smith I'm graduated in History. Look at "Harran" in Wikipedia. Then subscribe to academia.edu (it's free...) Then there search for Syriac Christianity. Harran is a Christian Graeco Roman city between the 1st and 4th centuries AD, the Arameans (people of Harran) began to adopt Christianity in place of the polytheist Aramean religion, and the regions of the Levant and Mesopotamia became an important centre of Syriac Christianity, along with the Aramean kingdom Osroene to the east from where the Syriac language and Syriac script emerged.
@trevor smith We have the sources. Period.
@@user-yz1dl3eu8l a city with the same name can be found in many places. Doesn’t mean a thing unless you provide proof
According to Tom Holland in his book "In the shadow of the sword" he says that Harran did hang on to a remnant of the old Mesopotamian religion into late antiquity. Into the 5th or 6th century.
He cites the book linked below as his source.

9:10 Hellenopolis/ Carrhae/ Ḥarrān is a Christian city since the 4th c. of the Roman Empire. There is no more polytheists there. And the ancients gods were forgotten save for the literati.
We must remember Islam ☪️ is NOT an Abrahamic religion!!! The God of Abraham ( Yahweh, Adonai) has a Spirit. allah does NOT have a spirit . That is an important detail. But, great job Mel! The book 📖 of Kings talks about these moon 🌙 gods & how King Josiah had them destroyed.
I don't mind you criticizing islam but what i do mind is the false pagan trinity and i don't think you have to be a muslim to believe that why not be a unitarian christian (biblical) and still think islam is false
The guyver allah is pagan. muhammad is pagan.... that’s it 🤷♀️ & your god still has no spirit.

Very interesting. Ramadan actually means scorching heat.
I’m wondering if allahu Akbar means God is Great, or greater 🤔
Seems that practically everything in Izlm was purloined.
Well Mel now is the time to explain how
Did the narrative switch from Iraq Syria and southern turkey to Mecca Medina and Saudi Arabia
Ok well it was zubar that brought the rock down to goat and sheep town and called it Mecca
Then how did the whole history of Islam focus on the hidjas in Saudi Arabia ?
Why would the Arabs of Iraq and Persia suddenly change the birthplace of Islam to a desert sea?
They could have been henotheists instead of polytheists. Some teach that Abraham was a henotheist instead of a monotheist.
9:40 : Many people were called "Sabians". Mel has no sources to ground this. Making PP is not enough ...
Great work, the religious places of worship was built on pagan places of worship, including churches. Christians worship the sun ☀️ and followers of Islam ☪️ worship the moon 🌒 lol 😂 satan influenced both of these religions, for who has eyes to see and hearts to understand. Can I get a Amen 🙏🏾
Most Muslims are not even aware of this channel.
Is not illah (al-Illah) the moon god?..... And so the moon god Allah!
No, Allah is the generic title for god, and refers to Dusharah the supreme god of the Nabataeans, from which the Arabic derived that title.
@maranatha 2nd thsts why Mohammed s father is , the slave of Allah, the hubal of the kaaba which housed the idols to whom he sacrificed camels. Long before Mohammed was given the revelation of another Allah by jibreel
07:34 so they worshipped a trinity, interesting. whats with this trend of trinity worshipping
14:10 Are you unfamiliar with the Jewish Himyar kingdom in southern Arabia? Of course there were Jews in southern Arabia.
In fact, the Jewish Himyar kingdom was a cause of a major persecution against Christians there, which led to the Ethiopian king intervening.
JAY Ancient Hindus and modern day Hindus also fast for 30 days during the month of Shravan.Mohammad got it for Hindus who visited Petra for trade and Nabateans visited India or Hindustan.Remember Many common words in Hindustani and Arabic are commonShravan is the holiest months in the Hindu calendar and is considered auspicious by devotees who seek blessings from Shiva. The most important part about Shravan is the fasting on Mondays. The fasting is also called Somvar Vrat. It is believed that praying to Shiva during Shravan is a lot more important than on any other months of the year. Several devout Hindus observe these fasts and perform pujas on Mondays in Shravan..

@@mythpanchal So does this mean it shifted away from this time of the year due to the removal of leap year days, or something to that effect?
@@Speakers154 yes. Lunar year is 10 days shorter than solar years. So it moves to all seasons every 36 years.
This clearly shows it was a pure political Agenda of Abbasids. Otherwise why someone would mess with the essential thing like calendar .
9:40 "Harranians" were Christianised since the 2nd c.
29:00 Jay... The Quran God is the Biblical One... I'm sorry but... Abraham, Moses, Noah do not believed to a Moon God... in the Quran... but the Biblical One...
@Amerigrama andfree Like the Jesus' God who is completely different than the God of the Bible. Yet, Christianity says he is the same.
Allah is father to none.
@@user-yz1dl3eu8l the Issa of the Quran was by the blessing of jibreel. Life is the prerogative of Allah. So jibreel has it too. Shirk?
The muslim obsession with the moon probably does originate from the Sabians of Harran. So does probably Eid al feter!
what's the difference between a babylonian "godhead" and "god"?
If you cannt come up with a reason for Mecca becoming the home of Islam then you have not solved the puzzle yet
Watch Dan Gibson's documentary you will find your answer
So they learned from the Christians and borrowed pagan festivals ?
8:30 Pilgrimage is a wide Mediterranean stuff. The Quran take the Biblical ones, nothing else.
Naaaaa it not borrowed the creator revealed how the story should goes and finalized in the quran that easy why make it so hard to understand
in arabic, greater is akbar.
The moon god
You will find out where all the Abrahamic faiths came from if you study Assyriology. This guy is talking absolute rubbish.
First your source misquoted ibn al-naddim he said
عيد فطر السبعة وفطر الشهر
Meaning the feast of the seven and the feast of the month.
Here are info about the sabians of the quran.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandaeism
Mandaeism or Mandaeanism (Arabic: مَنْدَائِيَّة, Mandāʾīyah), also known as Sabaeanism (Arabic: صَابِئِيَّة, Ṣābiʾīyah), is a monotheistic and gnostic religion[1]:4 with a strongly dualistic cosmology. The term Ṣubba is derived from the Aramaic root related to baptism, the neo-Mandaic is Ṣabi.[4] Occasionally, Mandaeans are called "Christians of Saint John".[5]
In the Quran, the "Sabians" (Arabic: الصَّابِئُون, aṣ-Ṣābiʾūn) are mentioned three times alongside Jews and Christians...
originated sometime in the first three centuries CE, in either southwestern Mesopotamia or the Syro-Palestinian area.[6] However, some scholars take the view that Mandaeanism is older and dates from pre-Christian times....
The religion has been practised primarily around the lower Karun, Euphrates and Tigris and the rivers that surround the Shatt-al-Arab waterway, part of southern Iraq and Khuzestan Province in Iran...
