That Karen didn't do "minor damage" to that poor child! A fractured skull, a broken nose, and a gash in his head that required staples, is NOT minor! She deserved every bit of that jail time!

'Nothing Serious,' 'no permanent damage,' I suppose she's a bit relieved he isn't going to die, but yeah I certainly agree with your sentiment... Left alone those would become permanent damage.

In Karen 3 (story 3) case. Least she get them fired (not above lying to their employer that they misrepresented their company outside work when in reality Karen started a fight with them elsewhere and is now lying about the facts if it gets her some minor pathetic satisfaction in ruining someone! I shit you not a Karen did this once to a friend of my mom, that friend was already leaving the place anyway. But when Karen found out she was "still working and not satisfying her ego by being poor and homeless for daring to ruffle her peacock feathers" she tried again there only to be told to buzz off by the management and then lead away in cuffs cause she then SLAPPED the manager! Heard it cost her enabling husband big that he divorced her post haste after the shitstorm, she still got him in court, and he died miserable, but he got the last laugh, she spend the money like water that she ran out and unwilling to work, found herself "Homeless and Poor!" Dad did just what DD did; prowled the sidelines, screamed at his sons as well as other players as well as us. We told him to sit down and stop yelling at the kids but he used to play ball in college and he knew everything that we were doing wrong. (He was an overweight, uncoordinated man child but sure he played college ball.) We got through the season and sincerely hoped that the brothers would turn out ok with the mom’s influence but we heard about them later. They grew up to be just like dear old dad. :-(

I give OP major kudos for not going after that monster who hurt her nephew and instead went to aid her nephew. That lady wouldn’t have been so lucky with my family.

Saturday off story: Not only would Karen not get THAT Saturday off, she wouldn't be getting the next few months worth of Saturdays off either for pulling that stunt if I were OP's parent. Also, I'd had a meeting and describe EXACTLY what I consider an emergency situation is, along with posting my version of the definition in various areas of my department.
Walmart Karen story: Does this particular Walmart happen to have an optometry shop? If it does, you should have escorted her there and told the staff Karen needed her eyes examined because she mistook you for a Walmart employee. Wouldn't that have been fun? But just another story that tells us we really should carry around business cards for local optometry shops for these Karens that can't read or tell regular clothes apart from store uniforms and the uniforms apart from other uniforms.
Hobby Lobby story: OP, I'm glad to hear your nephew is doing well. Even had the child crying been one of my kids, I doubt I could or would have stopped myself from "doing unto her" what she had done plus interest. But you need to take some basic first aid classes. Grabbing and gathering up a person with potential head and neck injuries is often the worst possible thing you can do as it can exasperate the injury(s).
Dodgeball story: I feel for the kid if he ever takes up a sport, whether in school or a summer league. Maybe not so much for the kid as for the coaches, parents and other kids. D dad is obviously trying to relive his less than glory days thru his kid. Poor kid!

Story 1: Back in the day, telephones were like some kind of magic spell. It was like when some one called you you HAD to talk to them and they could make you do things.... Then later when you get older you realize that just because some one called you on the phone (especially sales people) you could literally just hang up the phone. Like we were raised to believe that it was extremely rude to hang up on someone. But the fact of the matter is THEY were the rude ones. Today people don't even make calls most of the time it is all texts. I still remember a sense of empowerment in my late teens I got by just hanging up on strangers that called my phone trying to get something from me. Of course this is all before cell phones were a thing.
