Can this reel be used for tiny BFS trout stuff? Can it cast 1 gram?

I have 2 of the previous gen and they are nice reels but I find them to be more suitable for lighter lures and more finesse techniques. Are you saying that this new reel with it's new hyperdrive system, you can actually fish larger jigs (3/4 - 1oz) and get 'em out of slop and heavier grass? If so, as expensive as it is, I might have to dig deeper and get one.

Are you sure this one has clicky drag?
Edit: I own this exact reel, and mine doesn’t have clicks drag. The older 700 version does, but the 70 does not.

I have the 70 and it clicks I think you can turn the clicker off an on but I cant figure out how😂

@@mikekelly7842 you’re right! I stand corrected. I think I had this confused with my Antares which doesn’t have drag clicker.
I actually like the click.

@KruiserIV I dig having clickers on my reels but I would prefer to be able to turn it on and off like some of my other daiwa jdm reels and all of my trolling gear lol
