To view information on the screen in portrait mode, you can install the HP Display Assistant
software included on the software and documentation optical disc. The position of the OSD menu can
also be rotated to portrait mode. To rotate the OSD menu, access the OSD menu by pressing the Menu
button on the front bezel, select OSD Control from the menu, and then select OSD Rotation :)

Hate that they put super thin bezel but have a black band where the image doesn't show around the screen. One might say it makes the thin bezel pointless.
Hi, thanks for a great review and close look at this HP monitor. Been looking everywhere, can you confirm the 'Adobe RGB' rating of this screen? to be clear not the 'srgb' rating, I know this is 99.6% but can't seem to find anywhere the Adobe RGB rating. Additionally do you help any recommendation for screens of a similar spec/size but that give a clearer directive towards to creatives for colour constancy? I know BenQ do some but HP seem to have the nicest cleanest aesthetic.... Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm thinking to get the 24-inch 1080p version of E243. I wanted to know if it'd give me more space to work with for my documents? Because my laptop's 15.6-inch display is a 1080p display as well. So confused if I'd get more space with a 24-inch monitor or not.

Is "hp e243 monitor" good for me, my use is intermediate level graphic design/ui ux design work. Mostly used softwares are illustrator & adobe xd. What are you looking for in a monitor? Colour accuracy? High refresh rates? above-UHD resolutions? Flexible display adjust-ability?
What constitutes to a good monitor highly depends on what kind of monitor you are looking for
CarthagoMike anything really. I game a lot (gaming computer) but also do a lot of work. Picture clarity and likely refresh rate are important but I’m not very technical and understood on monitor mechanics. Thanks for the reply!
@@danielc.9599 I see, in that case you might want to go with something that sits in the middle of those things.
If your budget allows for it, try searching for a 1440p ('2k') display with 120hz or 144hz refresh rate.
Since picture clarity is important, avoid TN panels, get an IPS or VA panel instead.
These are the three most common panels btw (TN, IPS and VA). There's also OLED, but that's a different story.

It's a big screen so multiple pages, tabs and coding panels are definitely convenient to access and use side by side

You can use any wire you like however this one doesn't have built-in speakers.

In amazon, it's saying VESA mount is not available. But, in HP Official website, it's saying that it supports 100mm VESA mount......

if u care that much for the color, you should avoid the 6-bit panels with FRC used in the cheap IPS displays like this

Yeah it's a good matte screen. Haven't noticed glares on it and has decent viewing angles too
0 glare, screen is pretty good and rotation articulation is very smooth

It's just a display. You need to attach it with a cpu or laptop etc.

It has a Display port & HDMI, You can use a hdmi to USB-C adapter to connect it with mac etc. I use a HDMI to USB-C adapter to connect it with my XPS when needed.

Everyone is different and if you’re doing something long enough you might not realize it or get used to it. Get computer glasses if you have had issues before

What is your main usage if I may ask?
DAW, text works, standard photo editing and watching videos.
Both will do fine. Really upto your preference. E273 has display port if that's what you need.
I hope it's still okay to purchase a 27inch 1080p monitor in 2020.... if I am like 3 ft from monitor. Going beyond 1080p for 27inch means spending more on monitor and hardware.

what’s the difference between this and the e273m?
M has built-in speakers. Just a slightly smaller display area. You probably won't notice it though. Has a HD camera builtin. 3.5mm audio in/out jacks.

@@ashleykpark Yes like most displays it can be connected to Mabook air, you may need an appropriate connector, like USB-C to HDMI connector etc. to hook a HDMI display with your macbook.

This is e273, I think e273m has built-in speakers and audio throughput as well.
It does not come with inbuilt Audio. But apart from that, as the video says, it's a very neat monitor.

@@vijaykumar-wn1ot 24inch e243 has better dynamic contrast ratio 10000000:1 compare to 27inch e273 with 5000000:1 . And e243 is about 3lbs lighter then 27 inch model. Those are the key differences

@@CWillis7 There is no audio throughput from the monitor so the USB connectivity with monitor wont be of help. You are better of getting audio connected directly from your PC/MAC. or connect wireless speakers with your PC using a Bluetooth receiver.

@ohaiguyz brother display quality is good best part about this monitor is anti glare feature which cause less strain on eyes and make viewing angle great cant uploaf pics my phone camerw would not capture real time image so you wont get any conclusion but if you want clear display than go for 4k monitor in this screen size
