I probably wouldn’t recommend it for gaming refresh rate is somewhat slow.

For everyone asking about getting audio out of this without a PC, you can get an HDMI audio extractor which runs inline and separates the video and audio so that it outputs thru 3.5mm headphone jack and optical out. Took me awhile to find a solution but it works great

I think it would work for you,. But just remember it’s only 1080P so it’s not 4K.

hey, would you recommend this for 2023? i basically want it to conect my macbook, ipad to draw on procreate, and my emulator console. the ipad drawing part does make me money so i just want to make sure it´s not a terrible purchase. but someone is selling one for 90 bucks

I bought the 24f one and the sales associate talked me into buying a HDMI cable. Found out I it comes with a HDMI. Well took the cable back and got a mouse and keyboard. Which was a deal that came with purchasing the monitor.

So I had monitor, mouse and keyboard (both wireless) by returning the HDMI cable and using the credited money which I had spent anyway.
Hello: At 5:50 into the video you said you can adjust the monitor screen to whatever angle you need. My question is this: If you push the screen so that it is tilted backwards (like you did briefly), will it stay tilted backwards in that position, or once you let go, will it hinge back to where it was? In other words, can you get it to stay tilted backwards all by itself even after you let go? Thank You Very Much! I am thinking about buying this monitor.
Yes any angle you push it to it will stay, it’s sort of a stiff hinge so you don’t have to worry about it moving once you put it to where you want.

I have this monitor but the courier service mishandled it so the screen display is distorted. Where can I get the replacement of the screen?
Great review and I was sold on getting it however some mild issues. I have an apple macbook pro 2019, When connected to this monitor I notice mild pixelation.. Like the letters are a little bit pixelated, not very noticeable but when fonts get bigger it become more obvious. It is a good monitor but it doesn't look as crisp compared to the screen of my laptop... Am I having this issue because my laptop has higher resolution? compared to my monitor that is 1080p ?? thanks
Yes I agree with you I love this monitor. But it is only 1080P so you will see pixels and slight blurriness. Specially next to your 2 1/2K MacBook Pro. I just recently upgraded to a 4K monitor and love it, I’ll have a unboxing and review coming out soon.

Just a few notes - are you talking to somebody off screen to the right or is that your monitor? I have trouble talking to the camera as well and really have to focus on staring at the lens... What camera are you using? Are you shooting natively at 1080p or 4k? If you haven't upgraded yet you should definitely consider a 4k device: with downsampling to 1080p you average 4 pixels/1, meaning 4x chance at capturing accurate information for each pixel - it just looks better 👌
This also allows you to save on space as 4k files are HUGE, but there's even more benefits: between the color space where 4k 8bit becomes 1080p 10bit, editing is easier to grade, manipulate & work between corrections, filters & pushing levels, as well as framing or even adding pans to the footage, even things like scrubbing the footage during edits & export times - it's easier for your computer so it's easier for you to get exactly what you want/are looking for. I actually just got a GTX 1080 and upgraded to a Ryzen 3900x specifically for this kind of task - editing 4k 10bit footage from long gop is hard on a system.
Last thing: what kind of mic are you? Your audio quality is fantastic 👌👍 and just to be clear I'm not saying the video footage is bad or anything like that, just what I noticed and what other options bring - I imagine a couple of fill lights would go a long way too.
Wow thank you so much for your input. Actually this video is almost 2 years old, But when I did make the video that was a monitor I was looking at. And yes I have definitely gotten a lot better looking at the lens versus the monitor. And at that point I was using a Sony a6300 and was shooting in 1080P, but if you check out some of my new videos I shoot in 4K and use a Sony a6500 now. And I use a shotgun mic the Rode videomic NTG. I genuinely don't need 144hz or whatever, I just want a monitor with big size and good color accuracy with 1440p and above.

Yes it doesn’t have adjustable height but it does have the capability of tilting forward and back.

I’m not sure about the speakers but if they work for your computer they’ll work for the monitor. Since the monitor plugs into your computer and your speakers plug into your computer. If that makes sense.

Hey i have like a plastic screen protector stick to it should i remove it, mine doesn't shine like yours??
Mine had a shipping screen protector on it but I would make sure it’s actually a screen protector, see if there’s any bubbles or anything like that before you peel it off.
How did it go? I have the same question.... not sure if it’s a very very well applied protector or if it’s just the screen.... regardless it doesn’t shine like the video

Meep122 No the monitor does not have built-in speakers. You’ll have to have an external speaker which you would plug into your PC or wirelessly connect them.

Takuto Ogawa I used this monitor for about a year and upgraded to a 4K monitor which I really like, I think this is a good monitor but I really needed 4K for video editing so it really depends on what you’re using it for. Here’s a link to my video about the 4K monitor.
