Bro signed a lease! I can't believe he actually thought he was going to get any money back. He should have called a lawyer, let that lawyer laugh at him for 30 minutes, and then made the reasonable decision to not file his case.
He was in such a rush to get to his appointments that he just signed without any thought. When he did think about it, he regretted it and tried to make it her fault.Dude, don't schedule your appointments so close together is one of them will require an important decision.
Doug: "What have you learned?" Plaintiff:"Nothing. Not to deal with real estates." Doug: "Thats not exactly what you should have learned." I swear Doug has a third degree black belt in throwing shade.😂😂😂
Im tired of people coming out of court not learning lessons that should be common sense. Like the lessons are for the mistakes and decisions you made, not the outcomes and actions of others. 🤦🏾♀️
He even chased another broker and clients away?!? He signed the lease, the broker did her job, if he was unhappy after...why does she still not get paid? She did the work, the apartment was procured. This seems like a really frivolous case. And, the comment by the bystander claiming the realtor didn't close the deal...the LEASE WAS SIGNED.
Well, he did close the deal as soon as he signed the lease. So either way she would have kept the money. Seems like he was hard up for some money! Wonder who he owes?
it’s not surprising but i’m always shocked at how people publicly embarrass themselves on tv and in court then gets reamed by the judge and STILL thinks they’re in the right? that’s not to say every ruling is correct but, if everyone around you thinks you’re being insane, you’re probably being insane! the lack of self awareness is just crazy lmao
This is true sometimes, but also the judge can be sooooo out of touch with reality. Her rich spoiled snobby millionaire side comes out often and bothers me.
Some people... that plaintiff is an air head with his business dealings. Four dogs! How does one get to his age , and it assume some sort of financial success in order to just throw his money around on a broker ! And then to throw all of that in the bin money and energy flying around from appointments Dr's! Real estate agents!! My word... some people have too much money, and I would never pay a agent to find me a home, well not unless I was a millionaire...And especially to rent...🤔

That's silly. Many real estate agents rent out apartments. If they have people who will sell your house, of course they have people that will run out your apartment. And why not have that be the same person? It's pretty much the same concept.
@@JeremiahLOsborne there's a difference between "realtors" and "real estate agents" Realtors have more training and a higher degree of licensing Real estate agents usually do apartments, but I live in a major city; in the suburbs they might be more involved with houses
The judge is like you signed a lease the owner can’t make you do that stuff. True but do you know what kind of hell that owner could put you through if you don’t? So I understand why he left if that was the truth and he shouldn’t gotten him money back but she should of continued look for an apartment for him as a good business owner imho.
Her job was to find him an apartment, which she did. Any issues he has with the landlord are between him and the landlord. Why should she double the work for no additional pay when none of that is her problem?
It doesn't matter if the payment was in CASH as long as you have a signed contract. I understand why the defendant doesn't take personal checks because they bounce. Don't get stuck on the gash part.
She’s said she’s rented the apartment to others before him, then she should have known if there were other stipulations outside of lease. How much you want to bet she is related ( friend, family or wife/ex) to landlord , because I would never pay someone a $1700 fee to find me an apartment. It just doesn’t make sense that landlord would forgive $1700 deposit and a signed lease, they would at least keep the deposit if letting guy off of the lease.
The rental agent has absolutely nothing to do with the lease. That is an agreement between the tenant and the landlord. The agent has a separate agreement with the tenant, and a completely separate agreement with the landlord. The rental agent has nothing to do with the lease. They don't need to know what that says, at all. It's up to the tenant to be a responsible adult and read the papers that they are signing.
She’s shady and should have found him another apartment after the deal fell through. Although $1700 fee is insane he signed the contract and shouldn’t get his money back. But she’s reallly shady.
She's not shady at all. He asked her to find an apartment, she did it. The guy even signed a lease with the landlord. What part of her job is shady? This is very typical practice for people to take a one-month fee to rent out an apartment.
I loved how the plaintiff continued to talk giving his testimony the first time Milian attempted to interrupt him..more folks need to do this. Tired of her disrespect man. Tired of it

"What have you learned?" Nothing.
Yup, pretty much sums his spoiled self up.

What an ultramaroon that plaintiff is. Had nothing to prove his case that the landlord made those demands, either.
