Hey Jamie! Back in the 80’s there was a Entertainment Exec that managed kids in Hollywood (corey Feldman being one). He owned an nightclub for Hollywood kids and IIRC ice cream was the theme. Considering Pearlman was “creepy” as you say, that Ice Cream club with the male strippers could have been a dog whistle to the other “creeps” of Hollywood and the movie could be a discreet display of his roster to offer up for them.
Yes! Dive deeper into this boyband creator! We must all know just how creepy he was. It needs to be exposed! And youre the only one I trust to tell his weird and creepy story. You'll do it justice.
I knew Lou, way back. When he was juuuuust getting Backstreet Boys started, but nobody knew who they were yet, I was dating a cousin of Lou’s. He worked for him as his limo driver. He was a creepy dude, but I had no idea just HOW creepy, at that point. Pretty much nobody did, then.
Watch BSBs 2015 doc. They visit Lou's old abandoned mansion. Some wouldn't even go in there. He messed them up. He pretended to be a father figure while he robbed them. It's pretty heartbreaking.
So Lou Pearlman wrote a movie where the villain has his same initials and is casted by someone that kind of resembles him, then casts himself as the policeman AKA the Good Guy? Yeah, definitely a creep

I never knew this one existed until I scrolled her profile to rewatch some older content and found it there, amongst all the ones I'd already seen??? I watched all of her older videos (up until this year-ish) on a different account but I always had notifications set to "all" for her (as I do for all of my fav TH-camrs). Also - I *never once* saw any advertising or interviews posted for Lance's documentary or anything else about "The Boy Band Con" - had to go looking through dozens of unrelated search results on Google just now when trying to find more, as well.
Unrelated to this video, but I often remember you roasting Rigoletto for saying I'll walk you PART way home and I laugh. You are the funniest on TH-cam 💕
Oh man this dragged memories up from the depths of the darkest parts of my brain. I was obsessed with Nsync (and Lance in particular) as a tween and I remember this one. I can also still name all the presidents in order because of it.

Yes I knew he made some type of a workout movie or something... I couldn't remember what it was Darren's dance grooves LMFAO of course? Now it's all coming back. They used to show that commercial like a million times a day
I distinctly remember a reality tv show where Lou Pearlman heavily featured as this boyband maestro who has the recipe for success. The end result of the show was the band US5. I always assumed it was an American production but looking into it it was produced by the German TV station RTL II in the early 2000s when casting shows like Popstars were extremely popular over here. The show was called "Big in America". Btw what is said about his business strategies and how he ripped off the artists with unfair contracts sounds a lot like what's happening in K-Pop with the entertainment companies.
I remember on "Making the Band", one of the guys that was picked, his big brother just had a feeling. Told him, "don't sign that contract" and took him out. I didn't understand then why, but then I watched the documentary and everything made sense. That guy just knew to not let his brother stay involved.
The Prince noise every time that guy gets hit with a baseball made me laugh. Every time. More laughter each time. My lunch got cold because I couldn't be trusted to not choke on a mouthful.
1. Please do a full video over Lou Pearlman and the allegations. 2. So many people must have owed some favors or had a payment they needed to make for them to do this movie.
Plus wasn’t Gilbert Gottfried the one that voiced the bird Iago (no idea how to spell that) in the movie Aladdin? I was wondering if that’s why the scene Jaime pointed out as creepy (the one with him and those girls) was added, cause at the time his most recent/famous role was playing a pet bird maybe? lol
Lou Pearlman was Art Garfunkel's cousin, that's how he got into the music business, and why Art is in this movie. Rachel is played by soap actress Hunter Tylo, who played Taylor on Bold and the Beautiful. Her husband Michael Tylo is also in the movie as a CEO.
Actually, Lou was originally a businessman with a blimp-hiring service. He only became a music manager after New Kids hired his private jet, and after seeing them in concert he decided he was in the wrong business.
Wedding singer lady was in an Episode of The Golden Girls where Sofia’s friend has dementia and they have to find good care for the friend who hasnt anyone to care for her. It was really touching and sad.
I love you are sharing this. That man is disgusting. The fact he used those kids and literally all the people closest to him. He I believe is who messed up Aaron carter so bad. He was literally the youngest kid at the house. He was so defensive about Lou that I feel it's his way of dealing with what happened to himself
I'm old af. lol I knew Gilbert Gottfried from when he hosted the show USA's Up All Night, where they showed a marathon of R rated, and NC 17 rated movies, from 10pm to 4am, on USA Network back in the 80s - 90s, that were completely butchered with censorship due to having been aired on basic cable instead of premium like HBO. Gilbert Gottfried hosted Up All Night on Fridays, and Playboy Bunny Rhonda Sheer hosted on Saturdays, they did comedy skits and commentary of the movie between commercial breaks, and the movies they played were usually 80s raunch comedies (imagine American Pie with 80s fashion, and lingo, with bleeped profanity, and blurred/pixilated boobs as well), which I wasn't a fan of as a little kid, but they'd also play horror movies (especially around Halloween, and they had a Friday The 13th movie marathon on every Friday The 13th), which I loved. And of course I knew of Gottfried from the Problem Child movies, Def Jam's How To Be A Player (a hood comedy movie from the 90s), and Iago the parrot in Aladdin.
Just so you know, I discovered your channel last night and was really enjoying- my husband walks in and pretends to not be interested but keeps asking questions and having me rewind.. and now I'm not allowed to watch more episodes without him... Love your sense of humor!

Fun Fact: The Wedding Singer grandma actually WAS in an episode of “Golden Girls”. She played Sophia’s friend, Lily. I’m a bit of a Golden Girls expert.
I thought she looked familiar!
Was she also one of the nuns in Sister Act?
@@MsSilverTulip That, I do not know. She was in “Wedding Crashers.”
I love coming across my fellow Golden Girls Connoisseurs 🙆♀️ stay golden. 🤟
@@ashliecizenski5786 Thank you for being a friend 🥰
Can we please have more cameos from Editing Jamie? I feel like she’d have some fantastic commentary to share 😂
They (N*Sync, Britney, O-TOWN...)were forced by contract to appear in the movie, it was not by choice :(
Omg Darren the flight attendant/choreographer had a VHS called “Darren’s Dance Grooves” thst taught you the bye bye bye dance and me and my sisters watched it religiously 😂
Lmfao I knew I knew that guy
You just brought me back so many memories
I had to the VHS 🤡
I’m so glad someone else had memories of this unearthed when they heard his name too lol. I never had them but I remember commercials for it
I think he's on finding Neverland... dark stuff, very sad
Yes I knew he made some type of a workout movie or something... I couldn't remember what it was Darren's dance grooves LMFAO of course? Now it's all coming back. They used to show that commercial like a million times a day
"He cant hear me. He died." 🤔😞😂😂😂we're all going to hell for laughing at that.
Fun fact: everytime you say “*NSYNC”, the closed captions change it to “insane”. Fitting, I’d say. 😂🤘🏼
Okay I lost it at "big, scary, terrifying...... baseball-throwing machine."
I remember on "Making the Band", one of the guys that was picked, his big brother just had a feeling. Told him, "don't sign that contract" and took him out. I didn't understand then why, but then I watched the documentary and everything made sense. That guy just knew to not let his brother stay involved.
Was that the Hawaiian guy?
@@shawnac9289 Ikaika?!
You used The Golden Girls theme for The Wedding Singer lady, and she even appeared on The Golden Girls (and The Golden Palace).
Rest In Paradise Devin Lima, Rich Cronin, Kenny Rodgers and Dustin Diamond.
the best thing about those movies is Jamie commenting and editing the f out of them. Queen.
“A Tammy cameo is a tammeo” girl how are you so funny!? 🤣🤣🤣
Yes PLEASE do a whole piece on Lou! There is SO much there and SO much unsaid.
A Murder, Mystery, and Makeup Monday and a Movie and Makeup Monday?? SCORE!
Yesssss! And I'm so here for it! I just got done with Bailey and I'm here for Jamie now. Monday is amazing!
Hah! You watched Bailey too?? I watched her video and then this one. Great times!
Shot in the dark, but I feel like you have the best taste in everything. 😂🤣😂🤣

You should also check out MMMM (MLM Meme and Makeup Mondays) by Savanah Marie 😂
I rewatched the Beautician and the Beast with Fran Drescher and all I could think of is how Tammy would fit in lol Please make this a reality!
SUCH a perfect movie for this channel.
Lou Pearlman’s business model is how the whole Kpop industry has been running since the 90’s.
THIS
YES
Lou pearlmans work ethic reminds me of the way North Korea is ran lol
Exactly why I can’t trust anyone that listens to them (KPOP) Speaks volume about their character and morals *NO pun intended
Chile!
I stay home and love being able to listen all day long to your videos while I do everything from making supper to laundry to walking dogs, wtc
“I got this on Wish”..... floored me!!! 😂🤣😂
The Prince noise every time that guy gets hit with a baseball made me laugh. Every time. More laughter each time. My lunch got cold because I couldn't be trusted to not choke on a mouthful.
Same! Best part. 🙃
I have to reheat my food an unbelievable amount of times when I watch good TH-camrs.
You should totally do "Never Been Kissed" with Drew Barrymore. I like the movie but it has a lot of cringe moments.
I love that movie... 😂😭
@@jennifergonzalez1023 me too! Its so good
That’s such a good movie!
That was my favorite movie when I was like 12-13 😆😆😆
Omg yes! Great suggestion 🤣
If I could do my makeup the way you do yours, I would be an absolute MENACE to society, you look GORGEOUS!!! 😍
1. Please do a full video over Lou Pearlman and the allegations.
2. So many people must have owed some favors or had a payment they needed to make for them to do this movie.
The woman jamming out to *NSYNC in Justin's scene is his mom Lynn.
🤣🤣
Why are all their parents named lynn?! Lol
@@lissa8197 why is that true? 🤣
No way!! Who knew!
@@lissa8197 it’s a southern thing. Lol
Me trying to see if I made a cameo in this movie 🤔 😂
LOL

12:45 when "the guy who yells," is like "what are you listening to? TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE LISTENING TO" made me laugh out loud so hard
OH AND DO “MY DATE WITH THE PRESIDENTS DAUGHTER” plz. 🖤🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 thanks.
Did all the cameos say lyrics from their own songs? “You’re my lady” is also lyrics from Kenny Rogers song Lady.
I think they did..... 😂☠
I wondered too bc that seemed kind of weird for him to say in the way he did, makes more sense that it's from one of his sings
Screech made a high school reference as well so it wasn't just the singers lol
Plus wasn’t Gilbert Gottfried the one that voiced the bird Iago (no idea how to spell that) in the movie Aladdin?
I was wondering if that’s why the scene Jaime pointed out as creepy (the one with him and those girls) was added, cause at the time his most recent/famous role was playing a pet bird maybe? lol
@@laurenc4138 he was also in the problem child movies with John Ritter. oh this movie is ridiculous it makes me want to watch it. lmao
I wonder why Art wasn’t in the Lou Pearlman documentary that Lance Bass made? It would be cool to hear about Lou from him.
Actually, Lou was originally a businessman with a blimp-hiring service. He only became a music manager after New Kids hired his private jet, and after seeing them in concert he decided he was in the wrong business.
Oh my god, when you hear Prince's "Kiss" song timed with that baseball hitting that dude in the chest, I was dying.

Wedding singer lady was in an Episode of The Golden Girls where Sofia’s friend has dementia and they have to find good care for the friend who hasnt anyone to care for her. It was really touching and sad.
The GG were so progressive, cool, and well-written. Hard to find good stuff like that that's also got TOP teir humor(from WOMEN!). I want seasons.
Jamie is the queen of weird and obscure films!
I love you are sharing this. That man is disgusting. The fact he used those kids and literally all the people closest to him. He I believe is who messed up Aaron carter so bad. He was literally the youngest kid at the house. He was so defensive about Lou that I feel it's his way of dealing with what happened to himself
Yup! Same! Poor Aaron :(
Currently, YOU Jamie Queen French are the only human being that puts a smile on my face. THANK YOU. Those movie reviews are perfect.
no one ever remembers Gilbert Gottfired's name but you never forget his voice 🤣
Yes!! Just Iago from Aladdin every time for me 😂😂
Did you see the sketch with him narrating the audiobook version of Fifty Shades? It's fantastic!
@@lulu_9000 Yes! I loved it 😂😂
What?!?! Who?!?!
I'm old af. lol I knew Gilbert Gottfried from when he hosted the show USA's Up All Night, where they showed a marathon of R rated, and NC 17 rated movies, from 10pm to 4am, on USA Network back in the 80s - 90s, that were completely butchered with censorship due to having been aired on basic cable instead of premium like HBO.
I remember watching this when I was young and immediately thought it was a fever dream...that’s the only way to describe it. Like I thought I had the flu and made it up in my head
🤣😂😭
Must be how Lou came up with it. Only thing that makes sense
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I laughed OUT LOUD so many times during this, but something about you saying "the kid from Home Improvement" sent me. I love your casual remarks I'm howling over here!
