On the first problem, I found it easier just to first find the factors of 44 and plug them into an equation I had set up, 2w+3=L, which is how I got 4 and 11 almost instantaneously.

For the length is 3 times the w question, you can list the multiples of 44 and one is 4 times 11, and 4 × 2 + 3 = 11, meaning you're length and width are 11 and 4, wayyyyyyyy more simple
For question 2, I got a width of 3.33 and a height of 9.66. The perimeter was close enough to the one in the problem so I thought it would work but my area was totally off. How do I know which set of measurements to use and does the SAT only accept whole numbers for w and h?
The sample question in 7:53 are sample question that sometimes show up in college admission exams in my country, and you have to solve it in under a minute without a calculator😭 seeing how much work this took to solve I knew I had to skip learning this one
Just find what numbers that products equal to 44. Clearly thats easy, 11 × 4. It said that the length is three more than twice the width. So w = 4 so 4×2+3 = 11 so 11 is the length No need for extra long steps.

The first practice problem I found out that you could use the quadratic formula from algebra Δ=b^2 - 4ac = 3^2 - 4 x 2 x (-44) =361 w1= - b + √Δ 2a = - 3 + √361 2 x 2 = 4
I tried solving it with quadratic equation formula in 11:52 and the question is, Why did my answers were wrong? the sum were 22 and 16. Asking for a friend.
