Finally found the song! I heard it on the radio, and man I'm so happy I found it! When I closed my eyes,I saw a ballerina dancing to this song. I'm so glad I found this song. music*
Marvellous rendition! Reminds me of the interpretation of Stanislav Igolinski, at the end of the seventies, who performed this wonderful concerto in Holland (I am not aware of any digital release). Geniusas performance competes easily with GIlels in my opinion.
Can't thank you enough TheDoremika for putting this online. One of the great concerto/orchestra performances of all time, should rate with the old famous Horowitz Rach 3 and very few others. Lukas Geniusas is perhaps the greatest Russian pianist since Gilels and Richter, but that's not fair. He is simply a master in his own right. I was privileged to hear him play a wonderful solo recital in London three years ago, a great Brahms 1st piano sonata and Prokofiev 7th. Can't blame him for not travelling these days to the US, but he is missed. Should also compliment the Estonian orchestra on this clip. The recording is maybe a bit too "forward", but the playing is so good, not ever harsh sounding, so it's a total triumph.
une MERVEILLE Ce PIANISTE LE CONCERTO ...FANTASTIQUE
MERCI BEAUCOUP ☺😊
Magnifique interprétation par Lukas Geniušas de ce si beau Concerto.
A young Gilels! and orchestra and recording are brilliant.
