I have one as a Company car. V40 D2, She's a beauty, comfortable, well equipped and amazing fuel economy. I drive around 500 miles a week, Motorway and in London traffic and on average I put in £40.00 worth of Diesel a week.
i had one of these as a hire car in Sweden, it was absolutely brilliant, the comfort is amazing, the ride was brilliant, but then, the Swedish roads are very good, i just wish i had it for longer, so i could've figured out all the brilliant gadgets and gizmo's.
acchaladka It should have both options: touchscreen and buttons.... But more important than that... The screen is way too small, particularly to watch the reverse camera and GPS.
Good Review. However, there must be something wrong with the boot space. 1580 liters is bigger than the boot space of the new BMW X1 F48, and I find it's hard to believe from the size of this car.
Hi if you still have the v40 and it has power folding mirrors what is the PROCEEDURE as I have just been to see one but they cannot get the wing mirrors to fold in.any info would be great.thanks
@@T.Pentimento if you press both the left and right wing mirror adjustment buttons at the same time, they should fold in. If you want to do it every time you lock the doors you have to do it in the settings menu somewhere
I have it, and small squeaks started at 6000 km (4000 miles). Materials quality is very good, but I'm very disappointed by the assembly. Also suspensions are noisy on small pots and holes and they have not enough impact resistance: sometimes they just travel to the end and looks like the car will fall apart. Fuel economy on the D2 is very good with 20 km/l (57 mpg) 60% city and 40% country road/highway

The buttons are a nice feature if you live in a country with winter: touchscreens don't work well if you're not willing to take your gloves off.

Alberto Mozzanega hmmm - mine has done 25000 k’s with none of those issues - in fact - no issues at all!
Great used buy! 😁
nice video but horrible background music choice. very loud and annoying
lol im getting this month end
It's been only 1 year since the V40 release and the front design already looks old.
Small boot, poor legroom and lots of wind noise. Poor value imo.
Compared to what? The V40 is a brilliant car. Much better package then the Audi A3 IMO.
+WinkelHoof No, driven many better in the class. It's good but not very good like some others. The Golf is outstanding imo.
+sodthong The golf is a good car but its a shoe box on wheels = boring
Im wondering what is so expert in this review.. dislike!
my next car but the cross country version D4 in silver in Nov 2013
