@@crashtheweeb In all honesty, just one creator to another, I totally get that and I wouldn't want you to feel pigeonholed into something especially if you don't enjoy it - but your personality just meshes really well with random and chaotic takes on cozy nostalgia games, so wherever that vibe takes you, I'll be there for it!
Personally, the most fun way I've seen done for this would be to make a bingo board of a multitude of objectives of varying difficulty. This adds more variety to the challenge and hopefully keeps it from being all about finding one room or item being the only thing needed to win. Also, maybe turning off the randomized coins for balance reasons. Just my two cents on the challenge in case you decided to give it another go.
To explain why you suddenly got your paper abilities The game has "flags" that tell the game where you are when you trip them (as the gsme us extremely linear under normal circumstances). If you trip a flag, and you don't have all the things you should have at that point, the game will literally change things so it'll be at the point the gane thinks you should be, with all the stuff you shoild have.
I really wish the loading zone randomizer had an alternative or optional setting to have permanent loading zones, so you'd go through rougeport left gate, end up in the glitzpits, and that loading zone would always take you back and forth between the two. So the goal could then be too beat the game

I just watched this whole video last night, and today I started to watch the Star Road one, and I JUST realized you haven't even broke 1k yet, that's crazy. Your quality and commentary are great, your pacing is great, everything is great. Shocked that you don't have a shit ton of subscribers. You'll obviously get there though, your stuff is amazing. Keep it up 👍
the thing at the bottom left shows your current sequence, the loading zone you took into the room, and the internal name of the map you're currently on. even though it's annoying, it is definitely important to know details like what sequence you're currently on as some events can set you WAY further into the game and set you in a state where you might not be able to interact with part of a chapter anymore, meaning you have to find a scripted event that CAN set your sequence to an earlier state. it has a reason for being there, at the very least. i do definitely think it should be moved into the pause menu somewhere and have some sort of toggle for it in the corner of the screen at the very least (if the modder who made LZR is still active in TTYD modding) the item randomizer mod by jdaster also is what gives all enemies items/badges, as they're all forced (with some exceptions i think for the sake of reducing crashes and some bugs) to spawn with one on hand. and the loading zone randomizer is what occasionally gives you a follower (the egg, flavio, gus, etc.) also those randomized coins were NUTS oh my GOD you get so much from it, might be worth disabling for future runs if you do them again LOL
