This would have been a stunning performance at 12 years old but.......Angelina was only 10 years old when this was recorded as a demo. It was written by Baby Fuzz (in 2016) who has written songs for some big names. He put the song out for various artists but decided to record it himself and released his version in Dec.2018. The reason it says "Leaked" on the video is because someone anonymously uploaded Angelina's demo version in Nov. 2018, one month earlier. So in essence he covered his own song. Baby Fuzz has said he has no problems with Angelina's version being on YT. So glad you have introduced Angelina to your daughter. Angelina is so humble, elegant, classy and imo, makes for a great role model and an inspiration for young people to follow their dreams. Proof that she IS approachable, two TH-cam reactors of hers saw her at an airport and walked up and talked to her on camera. She was really nice to them. Another instance of her talking directly to fans,...If you haven't seen it yet, She was a featured artist at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival on July 7th, 2022. She walked out (stepped out of house slippers) and started (live band) with a cover Labrinth's "Mount Everest" that TORN THE HOUSE DOWN!!! She does this freestyle high pitched hooting that seemed to come out of nowhere. Like imitating an instrument sound. She goes on to talk freely to the audience who are yelling how much they miss her. It was probably the most engaged I've seen her with an audience. It was a stunning set, as you can imagine,... it's Angelina Jordan at a Jazz festival,... PERFECT!!! right? who in the world would you possibly want more than her there?
YES, Angelina is aproachabel, in Norway at her concerts, her mom had to "filter" the people, interviews etc.. But Mom Sarah called her daughter to her when some of her longtime fans and reactors came to talk to Sarah and AJ. On stage she talked to the audience and thanked them for their passion and help, she said: "because of you I will try to be better and humble, because without you there would be no Angelina Jordan, I am so thankful." IMHO this show her wisdom, beside being a very good business woman. When Norwegian TV came for a interview, she told them of her upcoming album (next year).😀

Actually only 10 here, one of my absolute favorites. Lots of controversy about this song and why it was never released by Angelina. Many people assume it was because of the lyrics supposedly referencing suicide, but there is no evidence to back that theory. In fact the writer of the song (Brandon Lowry aka Baby Fuzz) has stated that the lyrics were not about suicide. The reality is that we do not know why, all we can do is be thankful that this amazing song was leaked, and that we are able to enjoy it!
I read a TH-cam comment from a guy that claimed he met Angelina (and her team) at an airport, and he had taken the opportunity to ask her about this song and why she had not published it. According to him, she just smiled and said "it was a demo".. then she excused herself, turned around and hurried to her gate. (Can't verify this, it was just a YT comment)..

I've said it a thousand times, This young girl from Norway IS THE voice of our generation. Her melodic choices, her approach to each song is so stunningly unique and unwavering that it does floor you EVERY TIME!!! She virtually OWNS this song now. This was meant to be a demo from the Artist Baby Fuzz. He reached out to Angelina to record it. It was never released. He did his own version but it never got the attention this did. He did not contact her himself. But there is a lot misinformation about this song. I found two sources with information from Baby Fuzz himself. From that I come to this summary of facts: - Baby Fuzz wrote this song with the help of others during a master class camp on song writing - Those others worked with Angelina on her original Shield - Baby Fuzz decided he wanted to sell the song so that someone else would use it to release a song - For that purpose he made a demo - That demo was distributed but it didn’t lead to a sale - Baby Fuzz decided to release it himself anyway - Baby Fuzz stated he never had contact with Angelina’s team nor did he hear her version before making his released version. Here comes the speculation part: - the people Angelina worked on Shield with, brought the demo Baby Fuzz made with them to Angelina - Angelina gave it a spin, this leaked recording, and she decided not pursue it any further - Angelina’s version was leaked and with added video was published on TH-cam For the timelines, Angelina’s cover was leaked a little over a month before Baby Fuzz released his original. That is of course curious that the cover was released before the original, but the above makes clear how that happened.

Only after that it was put up again in the current form. What I didn't read there is, when these earlier leaks were done, so if they were weeks or month earlier.
Just to clarify, Brandon Laurey , AKA Sterling Fox, as hid pen name/writer, Did not adopt his stage name, Baby FuzZ, Until after this demo was made. So technically it was Sterling Fox who put out the song for demo recording creation and to see if anyone would buy the publishing rights. It is not completely confirmed if Mr. Fox Mr. Fox and the other writers did create a rudimentary demo of their own prior to this, As 1 or 2 suggested, Or if this Angelina Jordan Donald the Jordan devil is quite original in format.

The truth is Angelina cut this demo version when she was only 10 years old before the song was ever released and someone leaked this demo. One of the writers of the song who’s name is “Baby Fuzz” has verified this publicly. This song is an Angel favorite for sure. I was as shocked as you are the first time I heard it. By the way, she was 10 when she recorded it; it didn't get released right away because Mama Sara read the lyrics as being about suicide and quite properly vetoed its release at the time. This was never recorded for the purpose of being released. It was recorded as a demo to use to promote the song to other artist. No one vetoed anything. If Sara or Angelina had any problems with this song at the time, they would not have recorded it. Two of the co-writers of this song, Akel Carlson and Frida Amundsen, who asked Angelina to record this demo, said that they don't recall there being any issues with the lyrics at the time this was recorded. But that was 2016. In 2018, when this recording was leaked, it was a different story. 10 year old Angelina may not have had any issues with the lyrics but 12 year old Angelina who recently lost a dear friend who took his life just two months earlier certainly did. In the summer of 2019 Boris Palenovski ask Angelina's mother about the song and Sara said that "Angelina has problems with some of the lyrics".
That last run was breath taking and jaw dropping. Angelina’s breath control was unbelievably sophisticated. It was exponentially more ridiculously amazing when considering that this is the voice and the lung capacity of ten year old child!

Saucy!!! I believe the best explanation for Angelina is that she was created supernatural from Heaven , she is just not natural. :) The only way it makes sense. What her voice imparts to the listeners is like no other talent I have ever heard. There is healing, joy, comfort, and Love in all that she does.
You once asked if there were any interviews with (young) Angelina, about her starting so young, pressure etc. Not interviews really, but I suggest two clips. First, a 2-min clip with 8-year old Angelina rehearsing “Summertime” with Norwegian musicians. Just an 8-year old, combined with glimpses of someone who is about to take control of her sound and musical arrangements. The clip is in Norwegian but it does not matter (just adults discussing the arrangement before the music starts playing). The only thing you need to understand is that at the end of the clip, after 2.12 min, one of the musicians ask if they should do “the long or short version”, whereupon Angelina responds “lang” (long) twice. She has multiple versions of what is arguably one of her most popular and frequent covers, but the version I speak of was directed by her Grandma Mery Zamani. I also love her down to earth personality too. Shes deaf in her right ear which she says helps with her pitch. Her mom didnt want this released bc of the suicide message at the end. Baby Fuzz gave her the lyrics for direction on how to sing it.
Angie's fans think that this is one of her best vocals and if it had been released would have charted well. In a nutshell, BabyfuzZ, a well-known and successful song writer wrote this with a few buddies at a songwriting camp. He shopped it around to his clients and got no takers then sent the music and lyrics out to a number of singers to make a demo. His buddies had worked with Angelina so sent it to her too. Ten-year-old Angelina did this rendition but BabyfuzZ denies ever hearing it and maybe the other singers did not do it. Angelina's version somehow got released on TH-cam a couple of years later but was immediately taken down. BabyfuzZ recorded his version about a month after Angelina's got leaked. It did not do well. A fan kept a copy of hers, though, and produced this video with newer images. It is not clear why Angelina did not release it but the suicide references at the end or copyright issues are suspect. Anyway, Angelina was the first to sing and record this beautiful song. Is there anything she can't do?
The reason it wasn't released is because it is a demo. Demos are not intended for release. I don't think that they considered to have a ten year old release this song.
Had this been allowed to be released by her mom, we'd be talking about a #1 record. The reason why this demo was never brought out formally is up for debate but rumor has it that her mom didn't like the drowning - suicide insinuation lyrics and that's why is was stopped from being released. She was only 10 at the time and her mom Sara has been known in the past to have her change lyrics in songs that she felt weren't suitable for a young girl but the full reason(s) have never been stated.
That’s the exact reason her mom didn’t want this song to be released. It had nothing to do with suicide, she had already sung Gloomy Sunday on NGT, which is all about suicide. Her mom knew that if this song became a major hit, her daughter’s childhood would be over, and that’s the one thing that they were trying to prevent. I thought everyone understood that!

That is totally different from an inference to a suicide - drowning and I should not have to tell you that. in fact, her mom wouldn't even sing 'Back to Black' or 'Rehab', as well as 'I'm So Bad', unless she changed the lyrics. And those three songs didn't approach anything as dire as a drowning - suicide. No one understands what you're saying is because it makes no sense.

The reason it says "Leaked" on the video is because someone anonymously uploaded Angelina's demo version in Nov. 2018, one month earlier. So in essence he covered his own song. Baby Fuzz has said he has no problems with Angelina's version being on YT. So glad you have introduced Angelina to your daughter. Angelina is so humble, elegant, classy and imo, makes for a great role model and an inspiration for young people to follow their dreams. That picture at the end of the video is from her video "Fly Me To The Moon" at almost 10 years old and the whole video is fan made. Proof that she IS approachable, two TH-cam reactors of hers saw her at an airport and walked up and talked to her on camera. She was really nice to them. Another instance of her talking directly to fans,...If you haven't seen it yet, She was a featured artist at the Kongsberg Jazz Festival on July 7th, 2022. She walked out (stepped out of house slippers) and started (live band) with a cover Labrinth's "Mount Everest" that TORN THE HOUSE DOWN!!! She does this freestyle high pitched hooting that seemed to come out of nowhere. Like imitating an instrument sound. She goes on to talk freely to the audience who are yelling how much they miss her. It was probably the most engaged I've seen her with an audience. It was a stunning set, as you can imagine,... it's Angelina Jordan at a Jazz festival,... PERFECT!!! right? who in the world would you possibly want more than her there?

YES, Angelina is aproachabel, in Norway at her concerts, her mom had to "filter" the people, interviews etc.. But Mom Sarah called her daughter to her when some of her longtime fans and reactors came to talk to Sarah and AJ. On stage she talked to the audience and thanked them for their passion and help, she said: "because of you I will try to be better and humble, because without you there would be no Angelina Jordan, I am so thankful."
IMHO this show her wisdom, beside being a very good business woman. When Norwegian TV came for a interview, she told them of her upcoming album (next year).😀

Actually only 10 here, one of my absolute favorites. Lots of controversy about this song and why it was never released by Angelina. Many people assume it was because of the lyrics supposedly referencing suicide, but there is no evidence to back that theory. In fact the writer of the song (Brandon Lowry aka Baby Fuzz) has stated that the lyrics were not about suicide. The reality is that we do not know why, all we can do is be thankful that this amazing song was leaked, and that we are able to enjoy it!
I read a TH-cam comment from a guy that claimed he met Angelina (and her team) at an airport, and he had taken the opportunity to ask her about this song and why she had not published it. According to him, she just smiled and said "it was a demo".. then she excused herself, turned around and hurried to her gate. (Can't verify this, it was just a YT comment)..

I've said it a thousand times, This young girl from Norway IS THE voice of our generation. Her melodic choices, her approach to each song is so stunningly unique and unwavering that it does floor you EVERY TIME!!! She virtually OWNS this song now. This was meant to be a demo from the Artist Baby Fuzz. He reached out to Angelina to record it. It was never released. He did his own version but it never got the attention this did. He did not contact her himself. But there is a lot misinformation about this song. I found two sources with information from Baby Fuzz himself. From that I come to this summary of facts:
- Baby Fuzz wrote this song with the help of others during a master class camp on song writing
- Those others worked with Angelina on her original Shield
- Baby Fuzz decided he wanted to sell the song so that someone else would use it to release a song
- For that purpose he made a demo
- That demo was distributed but it didn’t lead to a sale
- Baby Fuzz decided to release it himself anyway
- Baby Fuzz stated he never had contact with Angelina’s team nor did he hear her version before making his released version.
Here comes the speculation part:
- the people Angelina worked on Shield with, brought the demo Baby Fuzz made with them to Angelina
- Angelina gave it a spin, this leaked recording, and she decided not pursue it any further
- Angelina’s version was leaked and with added video was published on TH-cam
For the timelines, Angelina’s cover was leaked a little over a month before Baby Fuzz released his original. That is of course curious that the cover was released before the original, but the above makes clear how that happened.

So technically it was Sterling Fox who put out the song for demo recording creation and to see if anyone would buy the publishing rights. It is not completely confirmed if Mr. Fox Mr. Fox and the other writers did create a rudimentary demo of their own prior to this, As 1 or 2 suggested, Or if this Angelina Jordan Donald the Jordan devil is quite original in format.

The truth is Angelina cut this demo version when she was only 10 years old before the song was ever released and someone leaked this demo. One of the writers of the song who’s name is “Baby Fuzz” has verified this publicly. It was actually two years after she had recorded this demo at 10 years old that it was actually leaked, I believe in 2018. It appears that Angelina was possibly the first to record this demo.

By the way, she was 10 when she recorded it; it didn't get released right away because Mama Sara read the lyrics as being about suicide and quite properly vetoed its release at the time. This was never recorded for the purpose of being released. It was recorded as a demo to use to promote the song to other artist. No one vetoed anything. If Sara or Angelina had any problems with this song at the time, they would not have recorded it. Two of the co-writers of this song, Akel Carlson and Frida Amundsen, who asked Angelina to record this demo, said that they don't recall there being any issues with the lyrics at the time this was recorded.
But that was 2016. In 2018, when this recording was leaked, it was a different story. 10 year old Angelina may not have had any issues with the lyrics but 12 year old Angelina who recently lost a dear friend who took his life just two months earlier certainly did. In the summer of 2019 Boris Palenovski ask Angelina's mother about the song and Sara said that "Angelina has problems with some of the lyrics".

That last run was breath taking and jaw dropping. Angelina’s breath control was unbelievably sophisticated. It was exponentially more ridiculously amazing when considering that this is the voice and the lung capacity of ten year old child!

You once asked if there were any interviews with (young) Angelina, about her starting so young, pressure etc. Not interviews really, but I suggest two clips. First, a 2-min clip with 8-year old Angelina rehearsing “Summertime” with Norwegian musicians. Just an 8-year old, combined with glimpses of someone who is about to take control of her sound and musical arrangements. The clip is in Norwegian but it does not matter (just adults discussing the arrangement before the music starts playing). The only thing you need to understand is that at the end of the clip, after 2.12 min, one of the musicians ask if they should do “the long or short version”, whereupon Angelina responds “lang” (long) twice. She has multiple versions of what is arguably one of her most popular and frequent covers, but the version I speak of was directed by her Grandma Mery Zamani. It’s believed that the video was shot in the desert southwest of California or Nevada to give it an other-worldly appearance. Many screenshots of this video have been used in other videos by Angelina.

Angie's fans think that this is one of her best vocals and if it had been released would have charted well. In a nutshell, BabyfuzZ, a well-known and successful song writer wrote this with a few buddies at a songwriting camp. He shopped it around to his clients and got no takers then sent the music and lyrics out to a number of singers to make a demo. His buddies had worked with Angelina so sent it to her too. Ten-year-old Angelina did this rendition but BabyfuzZ denies ever hearing it and maybe the other singers did not do it. Angelina's version somehow got released on TH-cam a couple of years later but was immediately taken down. BabyfuzZ recorded his version about a month after Angelina's got leaked. It did not do well. A fan kept a copy of hers, though, and produced this video with newer images. It is not clear why Angelina did not release it but the suicide references at the end or copyright issues are suspect. The reason it wasn't released is because it is a demo. Demos are not intended for release. I don't think that they considered to have a ten year old release this song.

The reason why this demo was never brought out formally is up for debate but rumor
has it that her mom didn't like the drowning - suicide insinuation lyrics and that's why
is was stopped from being released. She was only 10 at the time and her mom Sara
has been known in the past to have her change lyrics in songs that she felt weren't suitable
for a young girl but the full reason(s) have never been stated.
That’s the exact reason her mom didn’t want this song to be released. It had nothing to do with suicide, she had already sung Gloomy Sunday on NGT, which is all about suicide. Her mom knew that if this song became a major hit, her daughter’s childhood would be over, and that’s the one thing that they were trying to prevent. I thought everyone understood that!

using for her first audition and as Angelina stated to the judge, she knew
it was a sad song........and nothing more. That is totally different from an
inference to a suicide - drowning and I should not have to tell you that. in
fact, her mom wouldn't even sing 'Back to Black' or 'Rehab', as well as 'I'm So
Bad', unless she changed the lyrics. And those three songs didn't approach
anything as dire as a drowning - suicide. No one understands what you're saying
is because it makes no sense.
@@ridgemanron The song Gloomy Sunday is about suicide and baby fuzz himself stated that there is no reference to suicide in I’m still holding out for you. Sara had Angelina change the lyrics to Back to Black because they were very age inappropriate. The reason why the song wasn’t released is up for speculation but the notion that it was because of the reference to suicide is just nonsense.

@@ridgemanron listen man, I’m just telling you what the man who wrote the lyrics to the song said. Don’t get mad at me, I’m just sitting here watching the World Series. He said that there was no reference to suicide in the lyrics in an interview. I’m sure you’ll be able to find it if you do some research on the subject. God knows there’s certainly enough material out there! I just happen to believe this song wasn’t released to protect Angelina’s childhood.
