Every time I hear this I wish we had choices of multiple thumbs-up .. one just isn't enough. She's signed with Republic, Dave. As is Beyonce and Sam Smith and and and .. They made a special deal with Angelina and her family. They asked that she is not put out in the music business until she's done with her school, which is sometime this year, I think. Meanwhile, they do covers with her in studio and give her latitude for her to use tiktok and Instagram as she wishes. She has certainly made use of both! If you haven't seen any of her tiktoks, they are worthy, Dave, really .. even if they're short. She's amazing. There is a recent one of House of the Rising Sun which she taped at 5am when she was fooling around with her guitar. It will surprise you .. I promise. She's also done a very recent My Funny Valentine (she did a wonderful one at 10 years old from a couch in her house, mic in hand ..) and this one is mind-blowing because you truly get to hear how extremely stunning her voice is turning out. I believe there is one video that has both .. the early and the recent .. and that is worth seeing for sure. Dave, isn't that one of the most spectacular songs sung by anyone, let alone a 10-11 year old girl. This one is a big fan favorite of many of us Angels and now you know why. So much better then the baby fuzz release. The lyrics to the song fit Angelinas style so much more!! She is AMAZING!! Everything she does is so much better than the originals. She makes every song her own and doesn't try to parrot the original and improves it!! I have never been so impressed or addicted to an artist till I found Angelina. The description "Her voice soars" is SUCH an understatement. How proverbial is it that she ends this video, arms wide, embracing the moon. Like she can soar over the moon.
I was stunned and paralyzed for quite some time after hearing this. I heard and felt many things as she sang but most of all I saw the future of her career. If she can do this at ten years old, what is she going to do as an adult. Well Angelina's just a teenager now and she's showing the world that she can even grow from this astounding performance. I’m not sure why the video you watched had only 200,000 views, but this song is right at the top of the list for those of us who are hardcore fans of Angelina. I think I’ve probably watched it about 100,000 times myself. It’s stunningly good. Not only do Angelina’s vocals so beautifully deliver this song, but it’s a ten year old leading us through this sad, melancholic theme. I don’t know if it’s good or bad not seeing the video performance in the studio. I love watching Angelina sing, but the emotional impact of this song is so strong that watching it come from a young child just does not compute. It’s one of her best.

There are many stories about this song, the only thing that we can be sure of - it was a demo audio track, she never sang it again! I'm sure that it has a strange history that we may never discover. All that I know is that it blew me away when I first heard it, it still does after hearing it hundreds of times...
It isn't actually a cover. She sang it on a demo for the composer (BabyFuzz) who was shopping it around and recorded his version a couple of years later. It is highly reminiscent of hers.
I don’t think she actually did this demo for Baby Fuzz because he actually did his own demo which he later released after he got no interest for the song. The people Angelina was working with on her song “Shield” had her do this demo, I’m not sure of their motion at the time, because Baby Fuzz was at the same writing camp at the time, maybe they worked with him too. I get the feeling that they never even approached Angelina to acquire the rights for this song, but I think they knew it could be a hit, so they leaked it on TH-cam, but this is why there is such controversy over the song and it’s leaked release. I think that if Republic Records was interested enough they could acquire the rights and Angelina could change it to her satisfaction and it could be released, then everyone evolved would benefit, since Baby Fuzz’s release of the song was a flop!

Angelina's family missed a great opportunity to turn the recording industry on its head. Rather than sign with a label, they could have easily gone rogue and kept her independent. Finding investors to cover the cost of production would have been extremely simple, and all of the rewards, other than repaying investors, would have gone to Angelina. Why would it have been important? Because it would've opened the door very wide to other independent artists and wrested away the monopolistic control of the big labels. The music industry has been gravely detrimental to the creativity and originality of the artists and the music they're supposed to represent.
This song is part of the legend about Angelina. If she had put it out it would have been an original, but she newer did. Someone leaked it, we dont know who or why. I hope someday Angelina will tell the story about what happen.
The way I understand it is that the family was not happy about that last line in the song about suicidal words. This has only appeared on you tube in the last year . That is the reason why it is marked as leaked.

Fans that have following her from 2014 and have contact with the family had a full explanation. I can even tell you the background of BabyFuzz.
(I've heard the Views number was skewed because several vidoes were taken down and finally it was left up. I don't know if the 'take downs' were family related - that's what we've been led to believe because of the 'mature subject matter'. If that was true, I think the family should release this now and ask the LEAKED video be removed - thus reducing count-numbers, of course. But I think in years ago, that number will explode.) I hope in her years ahead, this will be a live-performance gem she trots out to blow the roof off again, and again and again. I'm not, I see this little girl come out and at 7 she humbles the Music industry by reminding people what real Music sounds like, Then she Shamed them by covering stuff they are doing now and she does it Better. As the fennel thing. She takes the crown of Queen of Music and does it 15 years old by writing her own Song Million Miles. For me Million miles also should be taken by the rest of the Music industry, those that put on that Horror fest they called the 2020 Grammy awards as a statement for how fare Below the bar of excellence they have fallen. Howie mentions them to Angelina after her "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" performance. That's a real easy way to get the results you want, and why I stopped watching any AGT shows.
Honest to God, I believe that the single greatest thing that has happened in Angelina's career this far, is her NOT winning AGT The Champions. After she got the golden buzzer for Bohemian Rhapsody, she should have switched lanes and done something different. There are plenty of contestants who were wonderfully talented. The mistake they all made was making every song after that sound the same. Courtney Hadein killed it on her first showing. After that,she should have shown how well she can sing 'softer' songs. She has a wonderful voice, but railroaded herself, and it cost her. Just my opinion. I do believe,however,winning AGT would have opened up the American market more. As unbelievable as it sounds, there are many people on TH-cam who do res turn videos and are hearing her for the first time. I read a quote from Angelina that after recording it she had second thoughts about it. The hint of suicide was what she didn't like and said she didn't want to sing it again.
Many feel this is the most unique performance she has ever done, and that includes taking into account her powerful version of 'I Put A Spell On You'. Had her mom allowed this to be released, it would have been a #1 song, for sure. Her mom didn't like the lyrics that described a drowning suicide and put the 'kabosh' on it.
Ten year old Angelina already displays that she has a much larger and more comprehensive vocal tool box and color palette than most adult veteran singers do. Her maturity level is decades beyond a person her age. Her hyper sensitive intuition, feel and emotional connection with the lyrics is unmatched. Her vocal mastery is at an elite master class level and she’s still only fifteen years old.

I believe Angelina recorded 1 or 2 other versions of this demo in London & this was the last recording, 1 week before her 11th Birthday. We don't know for sure, who or why, but someone on Angelina's team didn't like the overtones of suicide at the end, although Baby Face says it is not about suicide. He finally recorded the "original" a couple of years later with a similar arrangement. He has stated that he never heard Angelina's version until after he had recorded it himself. To get the full story, I guess we will have to wait for her 1st Biography. Nice reaction, Dave, this is a top 10 if not #1 for most "Angels."

There were a ton of comments on Jordan's (Schnell) last Angelina reaction concerning this song. I am reposting a couple comments which supposedly from people directly involved INCLUDING A COMMENT FROM BABY FUZZ. Devon replied on Schnell Jordan’s video on April 5, 2021.The following was posted by William Johnson on the subject: The thing about the lyrics being a problem with her family is just a rumor, and not why she didn't release it. And while she made several versions of this song, this one was recorded in 2017, just before she turned 11. Kent Nielsen, a friend of the writers and who knows Angelina's family, gives this information about this song, and also about "Shield": Your understanding of “Shield” seems to be everyone’s understanding. But like the John Legend rumor, this is a general misconception. I actually spoke with Ronny Janssen, one of the producers of “Shield” and he told me that the super talented, award-winning producer/songwriter Aksel Carlson wrote the song. Angelina had one line prior to the song being written “Forgive me for all that I am” and Aksel wrote the song from that. Ronny, Aksel and Frida also made the music (lyrics by Baby Fuzz) regarding “I’m still holding out for you”. I am aware of the stories and rumors surrounding this song too. There is definitely SOMETHING about her singing THIS song. It's beyond description. It's truly a shame that it is not a staple of her well known songs. I think they would not allow her to alter lyrics that implied a suicide and it was deemed unacceptable by her people as something to have her name associated with. Not sure what she suggested as an alteration for that. But she is very good at that sort of thing (see her version of Back In Black). So this one was leaked to the public. I think it may arguably be one of her finest vocal performances. She really is OUTSTANDING here. Everyone should hear it.

I’m not sure why the video you watched had only 200,000 views, but this song is right at the top of the list for those of us who are hardcore fans of Angelina. I think I’ve probably watched it about 100,000 times myself. It’s stunningly good. Not only do Angelina’s vocals so beautifully deliver this song, but it’s a ten year old leading us through this sad, melancholic theme. I don’t know if it’s good or bad not seeing the video performance in the studio. I love watching Angelina sing, but the emotional impact of this song is so strong that watching it come from a young child just does not compute. It’s one of her best.
A real masterpiece. She created her own virgin version of this song here, which had no history yet at this time, like her other covers have. Impressive! Of course we respect here decision to never sing this song again, but it hurts never see her singing it.

Great reaction Dave. This should have been a big hit but the world was not ready for an 11 year old (she sang this one week before her 11th birthday) to be on top of the charts. I believe Angelina's course in life has been laid out and this performance will be an important part of the story when books are written and movies made about the greatest vocalist ever, Angelina Jordan Astar.

There are many stories about this song, the only thing that we can be sure of - it was a demo audio track, she never sang it again! I'm sure that it has a strange history that we may never discover. All that I know is that it blew me away when I first heard it, it still does after hearing it hundreds of times...
It isn't actually a cover. She sang it on a demo for the composer (BabyFuzz) who was shopping it around and recorded his version a couple of years later. It is highly reminiscent of hers.
Any “cover” of this song is a cover OF Angelina’s version. She set the bar for this song, and I can’t imagine it being eclipsed by anyone. ❤️

I don’t think she actually did this demo for Baby Fuzz because he actually did his own demo which he later released after he got no interest for the song. The people Angelina was working with on her song “Shield” had her do this demo, I’m not sure of their motion at the time, because Baby Fuzz was at the same writing camp at the time, maybe they worked with him too. I get the feeling that they never even approached Angelina to acquire the rights for this song, but I think they knew it could be a hit, so they leaked it on TH-cam, but this is why there is such controversy over the song and it’s leaked release.
I think that if Republic Records was interested enough they could acquire the rights and Angelina could change it to her satisfaction and it could be released, then everyone evolved would benefit, since Baby Fuzz’s release of the song was a flop!

Angelina's family missed a great opportunity to turn the recording industry on its head.
Rather than sign with a label, they could have easily gone rogue and kept her independent.
Finding investors to cover the cost of production would have been extremely simple, and all of the rewards, other than repaying investors, would have gone to Angelina.
Why would it have been important? Because it would've opened the door very wide to other independent artists and wrested away the monopolistic control of the big labels.
The music industry has been gravely detrimental to the creativity and originality of the artists and the music they're supposed to represent.

This song is part of the legend about Angelina. If she had put it out it would have been an original, but she newer did. Someone leaked it, we dont know who or why. I hope someday Angelina will tell the story about what happen.
The way I understand it is that the family was not happy about that last line in the song about suicidal words. This has only appeared on you tube in the last year . That is the reason why it is marked as leaked.

Fans that have following her from 2014 and have contact with the family had a full explanation. I can even tell you the background of BabyFuzz.

(I've heard the Views number was skewed because several vidoes were taken down and finally it was left up. I don't know if the 'take downs' were family related - that's what we've been led to believe because of the 'mature subject matter'. If that was true, I think the family should release this now and ask the LEAKED video be removed - thus reducing count-numbers, of course. But I think in years ago, that number will explode.)
I hope in her years ahead, this will be a live-performance gem she trots out to blow the roof off again, and again and again. The bad thing about this - just like you needing a break, needing a breath - ain't gonna be possible for those of us in the audience.

Natural Talent sung with pure heart and a Love of music. All that wrapped up in her confidence to share her joy with others. She is a pure joy. She is a genuine talent but is so humble and real. I'm not, I see this little girl come out and at 7 she humbles the Music industry by reminding people what real Music sounds like, Then she Shamed them by covering stuff they are doing now and she does it Better. As the fennel thing. She takes the crown of Queen of Music and does it 15 years old by writing her own Song Million Miles. For me Million miles also should be taken by the rest of the Music industry, those that put on that Horror fest they called the 2020 Grammy awards as a statement for how fare Below the bar of excellence they have fallen. Her Pure love of Music and Real talent with out need to Placate or make political or social hate a Tool in her music should Shame the industry. This here is what we should expect and Demand. I hope the industry does not make her bend to them. For now, I say Long Live The Barefoot Queen.

The low views may have something to do with the fact that she did not release this one , becuase of the darkness of the lyrics. The reason for the leaked video ,even though this one of her most amazing epic performances at just 10 years old.

"50 Super Fans" that remained anonymous, that supposedly voted. Howie mentions them to Angelina after her "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" performance. That's a real easy way to get the results you want, and why I stopped watching any AGT shows.
Honest to God, I believe that the single greatest thing that has happened in Angelina's career this far, is her NOT winning AGT The Champions. Now she can stay true to herself, while at the same time having had the whole world experiencing her talent. That's a big win-win imo. Regards from Norway :-)

After she got the golden buzzer for Bohemian Rhapsody, she should have switched lanes and done something different.
There are plenty of contestants who were wonderfully talented. The mistake they all made was making every song after that sound the same.
Courtney Hadein killed it on her first showing. After that,she should have shown how well she can sing 'softer' songs. She has a wonderful voice, but railroaded herself, and it cost her.
Just my opinion. I do believe,however,winning AGT would have opened up the American market more.
As unbelievable as it sounds, there are many people on TH-cam who do res turn videos and are hearing her for the first time.

I read a quote from Angelina that after recording it she had second thoughts about it. The hint of suicide was what she didn't like and said she didn't want to sing it again.

includes taking into account her powerful version of 'I Put A Spell On You'.
Had her mom allowed this to be released, it would have been a #1 song,
for sure. Her mom didn't like the lyrics that described a drowning suicide
and put the 'kabosh' on it.

Ten year old Angelina already displays that she has a much larger and more comprehensive vocal tool box and color palette than most adult veteran singers do. Her maturity level is decades beyond a person her age. Her hyper sensitive intuition, feel and emotional connection with the lyrics is unmatched. Her vocal mastery is at an elite master class level and she’s still only fifteen years old.
Ten years old. TEN! What in the world is going on! She is amazing in so many ways! It's hard to comprehend but so easy to just sit back and enjoy. She is the greatest I have ever heard in my life. I'm a metal head, but I love original music and I love talented singers & musicians. This young lady has all of that in spades. Happy Birthday, barefoot Princess! The world is yours!

I believe Angelina recorded 1 or 2 other versions of this demo in London & this was the last recording, 1 week before her 11th Birthday. We don't know for sure, who or why, but someone on Angelina's team didn't like the overtones of suicide at the end, although Baby Face says it is not about suicide. He finally recorded the "original" a couple of years later with a similar arrangement. He has stated that he never heard Angelina's version until after he had recorded it himself. To get the full story, I guess we will have to wait for her 1st Biography. Nice reaction, Dave, this is a top 10 if not #1 for most "Angels."

Angelina had one line prior to the song being written “Forgive me for all that I am” and Aksel wrote the song from that. Ronny, Aksel and Frida also made the music (lyrics by Baby Fuzz) regarding “I’m still holding out for you”. I am aware of the stories and rumors surrounding this song too. However, I was told by Ronny (again) that her family actually wanted her to sing/release this song, but Ronny and Aksel spoke against it. Also, it was more of a stylistic issue, the song didn’t really fit well with Angelina. They did three recordings of this song, two in December of 2016 and the one that was leaked was recorded on January 3rd 2017. Regarding the lyrics, they already changed some for Angelina’s demo version... they could just as easily have changed the ending part too, if it was an issue. The reason it was taken down was because Angelina’s family had not been given permission to make the demo public, so when it was leaked, they had it removed due to risks of copyright infringements. But, Brandon (Baby Fuzz) really liked Angelina’s version, so he allowed it to stay on TH-cam. All this information comes directly from everyone involved. I also spoke with Brandon Lowry (Baby Fuzz) about this song and he doesn’t seem to understand why there is any controversy surrounding the song. Angelina did the demo in 2017 and didn’t release it due to the song not being the right stylistic choice (which also could explain why she did not sing it again) Ronny and Aksel told Brandon that they did the demo with Angelina, but he wanted to record and release the song himself. There are many theories as to why it was "LEAKED", but it seems the original artist, Baby Fuzz, had only released a demo and it was never officially released. And it might suggest that they were already heading down a trail that could lead to a conflict of rights. It might explain why they started Angelina's next project, Shield, straight away.

There is definitely SOMETHING about her singing THIS song. It's beyond description. It's truly a shame that it is not a staple of her well known songs. I think they would not allow her to alter lyrics that implied a suicide and it was deemed unacceptable by her people as something to have her name associated with. Not sure what she suggested as an alteration for that. But she is very good at that sort of thing (see her version of Back In Black). So this one was leaked to the public. I think it may arguably be one of her finest vocal performances. She really is OUTSTANDING here. Everyone should hear it.
I do hope this one day gets released properly as a single as it would show the world what they have been missing. It is truly incredible and my favourite track by her although there are about 50 close behind!
