I just want to know what the little right below the slide under the waved where you pull the slide back. Is there some pin supposed to be inside that little hole. I noticed there is an arrow above the hole. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Besides the bigfoot camera great video. I just bought the 40c could not be happier. I went over on budget for this gun so i don't have money for the range yet lol
I have the same pistol and this is the only video ive seen with the same pistol ive looked up videos for red dot sight upgrades but havent seen any yet
Best pistol have had mine for almost 7 years. It has never had an issue even with trash practice ammo. 7 years not ONE misfire, fail to eject, nothing except reliable dependable all day long every day. This gun is a work horse, i put 2 to 300 round threw it with no oil. All ot did was rub off the black on the friction points. This gun is imdistructable. You made an excellent choice plus it's a Smith and Wesson. Try the sticky holster you will love it as much as I do. I love the M&P and hope someday they put out a 10mm in the exact same platform. Nice video great choice. You can also take the full size mag and slip it in. The mag wasn't that hard to push in come on....... I think it's due to the feature that it automatically chambers a round when you slap the mag in. XDM does the same thing.
algierssolja think its suppose to be that way, either way I found it to be a feature and am glad it exist. You slip the mag in and pop it up. Done, you have a live gun.
Matthew Delaney dude I thought I had a stroke!! That’s why I looked in the comments was to make sure I wasn’t the only one seeing this, I fell better now (I still smell toast though).
I have the M&P 9 full size and love it though it's a bit large for a concealed carry . Am going to get the 40c as my carry weapon for sure... The APEX trigger was a huge improvement on my 9.. BTW, I forget to put the tool back in all the time after cleaning...
The M&P 9 is a nice firearm. I got my Girlfriend a Ruger SR9C for her concealed, she likes all the security features on it. I'm glad I'm not the only one that forgets to put that thing back in. I forget about it frequently. I want to do a trigger job on my 40c but haven't gotten around to it.
Yes David. While the 40c is as just wide as the 9f, the shorter barrel length and grip definitely makes it easier to conceal. Imo, it's the perfect ccw.
I have the 40 full size, and I have the shield in 9mm. I can't decide whether it makes sense to get the intermediate 40c size. Hmmm. I also have a Glock 19 to fit in the mid-size, but I have a thing for S&W, I own like 6 guns from them.
Bret Z.. If you want more capacity, the compact holds 10+1 compared to the 7+1 shield in the 40 Cal. The shield is a bit too thin for me.. So it winds up being personal preference.
I own this gun and I love everything about it except the trigger. But considering the fact that the trigger is the only safety for it, it's not that big of deal
Just purchase this firearm today and love it !! I don't know if the guy in the video knows this , but he left out that this gun has a mag safety feature . Won't fire the round in the chamber unless the clip is in ... test ''tis feature out at the range to make sure everything is functioning properly
mario vidal you drive the two large pins out then the while the entire trigger group is out you can pop out the mag safety it sits on the same pin as the yellow thing(sear disconnect. I left that small pin out and the yellow sear disconnect along with the mag safety out and mine works great probably better trigger than before.
as far as the magazine being difficult to insert goes, when the slide is locked back, the mag should slide in very crisp with no hangups. - however you are then left with one in chamber. Depends on how you choose to carry. Great vid though
Did you misspoke when you said the gun was accurate at 30 yards. That's ninety feet. My local indoor range is not that long. That distance is a remarkable shot. Enjoyed your review.
Kevin Carson I was referring to Jake being a liar 🤥 learn some satire asshole. Good one yeah..Average shooter can’t make a tight 6 shot group with a .45 & 3 inch barrel at 15 yards. Especially a inexperienced blue moon shooter.
@@pointblank6702 I was drinking when I commented this but yes, I feel better knowing someone has the knowledge of the correct pronunciation of ambidextrous.
@@dthompsont3796 it's a regional thing, I asked a few of my friends and they all pronounce it the same way I do. You're correct though, that's how you're supposed to say it
I like the MnP series but I think I hate this pistol. I should have gotten it in 9. On the other hand I had the L back strap on the first time 2nd time I used M and it destroyed my hand.
Just picked one of these up

Those effects mimic a light psilocybin trip lol.
How do you know this Haha

I have m&p 40c swap out with apex trigger and you will love it
Thought I was having a stroke for a second
😂😂😂😂 I thought it was over for me
What holster is that? Im looking for it now
did you find a holster that fits?
I'd just like to say I'm sorry about weird blurry wavy looking effect. I tried to use TH-cam image stabilization and that was the result.
I thought the camera was drunk
+Jason Renfro lol. We'll go with that. Sounds better
Besides the bigfoot camera great video. I just bought the 40c could not be happier. I went over on budget for this gun so i don't have money for the range yet lol
+Jason Renfro you'll enjoy it. It's a great firearm. I also just got my girlfriend a Ruger SR9C which is also a great firearm
I thought i was tripping! ;)
what holster is that?
Honestly can't remember, it was a retention holster I got at a gun shop
I have the same pistol and this is the only video ive seen with the same pistol ive looked up videos for red dot sight upgrades but havent seen any yet
I recently picked up the 9c and i'm lovin' it.It's a welcome addition to the CC family and just may end up being my favorite out of the ones i own.

priestof1 that is not a feature it is a flaw many polymer pistols have.
algierssolja think its suppose to be that way, either way I found it to be a feature and am glad it exist. You slip the mag in and pop it up. Done, you have a live gun.
Does the gun have a safety or nah?
Anyone throw a TLR-7 on the 40c?
I've been looking at the 2.0 but might get the 9c I've always went with .40 s&w glocks but time for something new 🤔
You shouldn't cut the coil on the mags
Roger Crouse that may be true. I've put over 1000 rounds through it since then and haven't had any issues though
Have you bought any attachments/accessories? I'm still trying to find a decent flashlight for my 40c
I got a stream light tlr 4 cost me around 150 dollars has a flash light and red lazer fits on bottom rails
Is there a way to get rid of the sights or whatever on top on the gun?
Am I on acid, why the fu*& is the screen melting?!?
Matthew Delaney dude I thought I had a stroke!! That’s why I looked in the comments was to make sure I wasn’t the only one seeing this, I fell better now (I still smell toast though).
You're on acid, I'm sorry.
Its because of TH-cam's "auto correction" and "image stabilization" it didn't go the way I had hoped

I love this gun. I have no complaints except I will change the trigger
HOUSTON STRONG I agree on the trigger it's spongy

Eric Esteves what clip?

Now the term spongy i don't get..but I understood what he ment.but other then it is a good review on the gun.
This is on my short list of .40s for my next gun. Primarily a .45/9mm/.38/.357/.44mag shooter, this is the only caliber I don't currently have.
Did you misspoke when you said the gun was accurate at 30 yards. That's ninety feet. My local indoor range is not that long. That distance is a remarkable shot. Enjoyed your review.
My apologies, you're correct. I meant to say 30feet haha. 30 yards would be a remarkable shot.
jake faulkner good joke jahaha
Manuel hes so full of shit lol.. Im a happy camper hitting a silhouette at 15 yards in .45 with a compact xd mod2 **EDIT** added lol for Mr Carson

No, it does not
a man bought a 13 dollar review camera on amazon, this is what happened to his gun

Is it made of gelatine??
Does the gun have a safety?
I wish Glock mags were that easy to take apart.
Shield 40 Cal 8 rounds Thinner and unique
how many times are you gonna clear that gun lmao we get it, its clear
Once or twice
sights are fiber optic not fiber glass but cool video

"safety first". Yet no mention of the safety.

You just need to pickup an aftermarket 9mm barrel and your 40cal mags will work still. Best of both worlds.
The 40sc?? Lol
It's a compact, not a "sub compact" as you said. That's why it's called a compact. Lol!
The new version 2.0 in 9mm same size is called subcompact
