- In this Mumbo Minecraft video, I make a Minecraft flying machine making use of components from the create mod in Minecraft. The create mod is a Minecraft forge mod that introduces mechanical Minecraft components. This wind powered airship in Minecraft uses create mod windmills, create mod cogs, and much more to create a flying Minecraft airship that actually works. This Minecraft steampunk inspired machine flies beautifully!

Me when Mumbo does redstone with the create mod: *Has an existential crisis and questions my sanity about 900 times in ridiculous confusion*
i amusignly can read whats going on. but never make it my self :P simply put in this vid, you use a piston that can extend to stupid distances, to first push the "front" forward, than the back has a stupid long piston of that same size to pull the "back" to were i should be. now auto mate that with redstone and cogs and stuff and boda bing boda boom you have a flyer, and we talking about 200 less pistions

Are they separate definitions, or are they two words which are spelt the same way? Apparently the positive "chuffed" used to mean "swollen with fat", whereas the negative "chuffed" came from a word meaning "a coarse or stupid fellow". But it's possible that both of these older definitions themselves came from a common root. It's interesting to ponder.
The pure pain and joy in his voice is why I watch these videos. Mumbo is just so genuine.

There's probably room to make an actually functional flying machine base with this mod. Four directional, an actual cabin and movable storage, and stoppable.
The best part about rotation speed controllers is that, unlike shifting gears, it has no kinetic stress impact.

Now that you have made a bomber cruise, you should start making TNT droppers and fireball shooters established onto the bomber Crew and bomb a village.
Hey Mumbo, Create has some drills that can mine blocks when pushed. This flying machine could become a tunneling machine that collects all the blocks it mines. In fact you could even filter out cobble and other blocks to keep only the ores. you want (similar machines were very common back in modded MC 1.2.5, using redpower instead of create. And yes, I really mean 1.2.5, I've been playing with mods for a long time now).
This is probably my favorite mod to play with. Thinking up different machines and figuring out how to build them is so much fun.
I would totally buy a poster that says, “I mean, there’s no denying that the idea was stupid, it’s definitely stupid, but is it _impossibly_ stupid?”

Thanks to various things involving glue, you can use Create to rotate the machine in order to steer it. Maybe you could make a steering contraption to control the machine, wrap all that up in an engine room, and then put the controls in a cockpit.

So I was screwing around with enderpearls and I thought of something:
Can you make a machine that, when you throw an enderpearl into it, it will make it travel for x amount of time? The amount of time it would take would be pretty much RNG based, from around 10 seconds to a couple hours or so. It could be like a mini-game where you throw an enderpearl in and leave to do some random stuff only to be suddenly teleported at a random point in time. Just something useless like that.

You might also want to take a look at the gauges and switches mod. It has some interesting redstone stuff, most notably gauges that can read redstone signal strength.

If you're building a bigger structure that you want to be glued together, you can just take the glue in your offhand. It will automatically glue when placing a block!
