Shalz saying he'd love to see trains fly, reminds me, I was called out to make an asphalt repair, and what had happened, was someone backed a train into a dead-end siding too fast. It hit and crushed the buffer at the end of the rail, turning it into a ramp and the last car flew through the air for about a car length, maybe a little more, and then crushed the asphalt to hell lol.
@shalz 0:26 there’s a mod called Sleepable Create that allows you to sleep in beds while a train is assembled Also be on the lookout for create simulated (base code for aeronautics) because as soon as it releases steam n rails is going to integrate it into the trains so you can interact with blocks like crafting tables and furnaces on assembled trains
A little fact about this mod is that since its still valkyrien skies under the hood this mod is compatable with other vs addons (such as clockwork) so you can definitely slap some wings on a train and make it fly lol
train buffers IRL normally have a failsafe, where they rip up the track underneath them and essentially spear the chassis of the train, so a train derailing cause it hit a buffer at high speeds is decently accurate, it would just more or less look lik the train is left on an upwards slope
I think normal mechanical bearings work on other contraptions as well, I think what the propagator bearing actually does is let you transfer rotational power onto the contraption itself from the bearing (which is why there's a black dot on the top)
As an American, for my fellow American, that propagator bearing is equivalent to a ton and 205 pounds, or about as much as some male saltwater crocodiles and thank you shalz, I enjoy your feet too- I mean uh I enjoy watching your impressive feats of engineering in minecraft anyways Great video as always, super cool to see trains getting physics

Man, I absolutely love moments like these! *looks at the slab on the train* *presses left mouse button* *slab breaks* *wheeeeese* This moment, this feature is so small (especially for non-minecrafters) but insane and so meaningful to us.
I can totally see an apocalypse survival modpack based around this idea, where you have to make and get on a train to escape the end of the world, with constant challenges as you go requiring you to add more and more stuff to your train base, like an automatic rail factory/placer when you run out of pregenerated rails, drills to tunnel through mountains, a balast generator for valleys, ravines, and oceans, etc. Perhaps there's even some end goal, such as a structure that generates a certain distance away, or you have to turn your train into a space ship and leave the planet.
i looked at their site and from what i can see the propagator bearing is supposed to be a passthrough so you can pass power from elsewhere onto a shaft thats connected to it, the thing you did would probably work with normal bearings too
Would love someone to make modpack with create. Where you spawn on a create train, very basic. The world is toxic or whatever so you have an oxygen tank and only have a limited amount of time off the train, over time you can upgrade your train and maybe build train stations

Create should add a "snowpiercer" terrain gen option where it generates one endless randomly generated train track in the world so you can do train survival
A create survival series where you have a mass of tunnels and stations, stations stop for 10 minutes and that's the only time you can get off, mine, get resources ect, then the train leaves for five minutes and you find a different biome? It's void train but minecraft

The last train mod I used, had several trains based on real-world designs, but nothing that you could build yourself... Also built one train track up to a sky village I found with the minimap mod, as I never knew they were a thing before that. I built a train station and tried removing one of the engines from the track, which spawned a lava bucket and burned a large portion of the village...
I have a cool idea where maybe you could be able to train jump and then the train jump makes you land on a different track and that track could go somewhere else with a few more jumps that would be pretty cool if you can actually land train please make that in the next video
ok so I may have a solution for the player not going upside down while on the rotating seat, now I don't know if they work together, but I guess it's worth trying: there is a fabric mod called SmoothCoasters Mod, that mod is made to work with normal minecarts (especially the TrainCarts plugin for servers) and it makes it so the player always face the same way, like when you turn the minecart in first person you keep facing the front of the mineacrt, so you turn with it. When paired with the TrainCarts plugin (that's made for making roller coasters on servers) you can even go upside-down, so MAYBE (they might incompatible tho) it might just work with these two mods as well. This mod though is on FABRIC, not Forge, so you would need Valkyrien Skies for Fabric and Create Fabric.
Hi shalz, to answer your question about train ramp jumping it doesnt exist because it isnt physically possible, trains are too heavy,they could not jump the ramp unless it was a super slight degree of a slope.
