For anyone new to the game, Somersloops were an absolute game changer and can turn an otherwise low output factory into a beast with just a few sloops. Items like making power shards, alien protein and biomass production can easily be doubled early game helping those struggling moments. Great video!
If you do solid biomass you can not just double but quadruple it, making 10 solid for each wood. 240 leaves or 24 wood now feed a biomass burner for a full hour.
Production amplification is such a game changer! Using them on slugs is such a greasy play. I find that there are so many slugs on the map though that I think its ok to turn a few into power shards in the early game. Once you start picking up purple slugs, then it is worth slooping them. I made a short on the "monstructor" jamming in 3 power shards into a constructor then slooping it to create this beast.
using linear programming you would find that its not worth it to alien augmenter matrix as of 1.0 as they are too expensive resource-wise. it is also easier to use it for producton amplification for late game items such as ballastic rockets. however note that production amplification of nuclear fuel rods is also not worth. so use sloops for power until you reach t7, then start transitioning towards production amp to get the most out of your sloops.
Well said! I also think at that point in the game, it's easier just to max out all the nuclear power on the map if you need that much power. Which very few players actually do.
@@SatisfactoryNews One can also convert other nodes to uranium as well, if the need arises, although those would probably be very overkill game sessions. (...source: me with such a session; 60 uranium, plutonium and ficsonium fuel rods per minute, taking all natural uranium, plus one pure bauxite node converted for 60 nuke obelisks per minute.)

Thanks Andrew!

@hugoperhammer Yes! Its SUCH a great way to really load up biomass early game!

It completely changed my 1.0 playthrough cause I used Production Amplification for all the Space Elevator milestones.
Another great use! Makes it way faster!
Loving it!

nah thats the cool S everyone drew in school
Exactly, that's why it looks oddly familiar
@SatisfactoryNews The cool S is so universal that aliens use them
Love this thinks.
I found one on an egg lol
first!
