Yes! Love your reaction, your reaction was “bad to the bone!”. I admit I was old enough to have been at this very concert and it was electric. George Thorogood and the Destroyers were always a good time. It was also in the Terminator movie when Arnold walks naked into the biker bar to get himself some clothes.
I was at this concert. Capitol theatre in Passaic NJ. One of the better ones I've seen there. But they had so so many great concerts there. It's a shame they shut it down. Big enough to have a loud audience and small enough that every seat in the house was a good one. Another great song by George is "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer" Same concert th-cam.com/video/--AvCsh48bk/w-d-xo.html
Lmao I sooo remember that sence I instantly thought of it when I herd this song I always do but my husband R.I.H. used to walk around singing this song to me EVERYDAY! LOL BAD TO THE BONE BABABABABAADDD
Nobody had more swagger than George in the 80s. Every note of this song resonates. Thank you for reviewing this, I loved watching you reactions. It's like enjoying it again for the first time.
Absolutely love this song & video! George T is so entertaining and BAD to the bone😄 Love the John Lee Hooker riff that gets him going & Bo Diddley (a hero to George) is in the video!! 🎉🎸❤️🔥🎸💎🎸🥁😻☮️💜 Cheers from 🇨🇦
This song is definitely a JAM! Others to check out: One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer and Move It On Over. Loving watching you discover the oldies but goodies.
Best usage in a movie was in one of the Terminator movies. The Terminator steps out onto the porch of a bar after being agitated by a biker gang. He steps out onto the porch and this song begins. We went to see this at the theater when it came out and the moment the first chords of the guitar, the audience started clapping and cheering. We all knew the song and it fit -- boy did it fit. It was fantastic. It is a memory I will never forget. Made the movie that much better. The Terminator proceeded to destroy all the bikes parked outside. Every time I see bikers on the road I have a flashback of that movie and I start laughing. This is one of the best songs. The words and the music fit like a glove and George had the right personality and attitude in which to sing it.
George is an awesome guitarist. No one can play the blues like George. If you want to see another great blues guitarist, check out Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas flood, live. He'll blow your mind.
I saw George this summer when he opened for Sammy Hagar. He still sounds great! I told my wife that he only has 7 or 8 songs but he plays the hell out those
I was there. July 30, 1993, in Quebec City. He stayed until something like midnight, doing encore after encore. The BEST show I ever paid for, next to AC/DC. The Capitole is pretty small, so it's very cozy and nobody is really far from the act. And it's got full service DURING the concert... I'm pretty sure they sold a LOT of Bourbon, Scotch, and beer.
This song is also in a BUNCH of TV commercials too. George & The Destroyers were a seriously kick ass live band in the 70s and 80s. Move It On Over, I Drink Alone, and One Bourbon One Scotch One Beer are all Thorogood essentials.
It was used as the opening song in Stephen King’s “Christine”. It refers to an old car from 1957 which is possessed and kills people rather randomly. Great, great movie!
Oh my sweet heaven George!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 this is gonna be amazing! Check out his live of One bourbon, one scotch, one beer 👌👌👌👌 George is such an amazing story teller ❤️ once again your face says it all.... infectious smile!
I know how much you love guitar, so the next one you need to listen to is "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer. It is also a live performance at the Capital Theatre and has a featured guest, Elvin Bishop. In case you don't know who Elvin Bishop is, I'll leave one here.: "Fooled Around and Fell in Love",
Saw him live in Fredricton , New Brunswick, Canada in 1985 when I was 15. 10 of us crammed in my Dad's Big Ass Dodge Ram Van. We still talk about it.. He has a great concert. Nothing like the 80's Concerts. Seen Stones, Metallica, AreoSmith and so many more..
Omg takin us back!!😊🙏💕🤘🏼 I haven’t heard this in years, still knew all the words, George is such a bad ass! I forgot how much I loved him thanks so much for doing this reaction and reminding me of some great times of my past✌️🌻
Great old school music, you really get into your reactions 👍👍💥💥💥 if you like great guitars here is the best. 1 drum. 1 bass. 1 guitar. Z.z top ( la grange) at double down. Live. 🎸🎸🥁💕💕💕
Bro if you like this! I have 18 George Thorogood albums and everyone is killer. He covers the greatest old school blues players that ever lived. Guys I am sure you never heard up but greats. Would love to make you 4-5 cd’s of his best. He will blow you away

The Capital Theatre in Passaic, NJ is a large movie theatre (about 3000 people). I have seen Billy Joel, Frank Zappa and The Ramones there back in the 70's and the tickets were less than $ 5 (LOL).
I used to have a poster on my bedroom wall when I was a kid, it was a Dalmatian puppy and it said "bad to the bone" on it. every time I hear this song I think about that old poster I used to own lol
lol yeah, we hear bits of this song in probably a hundred different movies. lol sometime just the first five notes or so. lol it has a great effect. i enjoyed watching you enjoy it. lol

A number of years ago GT was touring with the Steve Miller Band. Steven Miller was top bill. GT put on a top notch high energy show. People out of their seats dancing and singing. It was Steve Miller's turn. Three songs later, we left as did a number of others.

"Move it on over" is one of my favorites.
This song is featured in the "Terminator 2" also in "Christine" in case you wanted this information!
It might have been the original "Terminator" movie, it's been a long time since I've watched these movies!
