That was clearly a jumbo visma...who in the world would (1) wait for a rider, (2) ride hard on a puncture; but an easy standing Kudos to TJV and management
A question must the 5th and subsequent riders still cross the finish line? They all get the time of the 4th to finish so wondered if they can get a ride in the team car
@@nw3987 a TTT is closer to a team pursuit than you'd think, it's not a solo TT. Cavs very good at the TP and the effort isn't dissimilar in a TTT, just further with longer rests and not quite as hard
It might not be, the TTT effort is closer to a TP than an individual TT. Some riders suit one more than the other, Dowsett might be a guy who rides at threshhold better than he does going above and below repeatedly like you need to in a TTT
In Team TT’s the first 4 across the line all get the same time. The optimal strategy is to use up and burn excess riders before the finish line. Usually they’ll do this before a climb with a weaker climber, like Kwiatkowski did in this race for Ineos.
Jumbo visma apparently the strongest cycling team on earth right now

Best team for me is the team that wins tour

why Martin waving his arm like the dude isnt going 100% with a flat tyre💀
Was Wout I think? Guess they thought he was slacking!
Because he stopped pedaling when he flatted and could have easily got to the finish at least a few seconds faster.
Mark Cavendish one of the best time trialists in the world? Excuse me, what?
Ahahahha

u prolly never saw track cycling in your life.

aren't they using tubeless tires with liquid sealant?
@Mr T you mean with tube inside?
@Mr T ohh ok., i got it man
Jumbooo the best
Not today.
But Alex Dowsett dropped on a TTT - that's unusual 😭
I didn't watch it live so I don't know but it might have been a tactical decision
On Strava, he said he was disappointed with his individual performance.
