I'm taking a few $1 items from when we thrifted at the Goodwill Marketplace Outlet bins (my last thrifting video) and essentially making $1 thrifted clothes trendy! The ‘No’ top was my favourite, but the grandpa top looked so much cuter cropped also.
I have the same phobia of things being around my neck or close to my throat. It makes me feel panicked and like I can’t breathe. I can’t handle scarves, turtlenecks or even short necklaces. I think I was strangled in a past life - LOL.

I have to say, not only are your videos completely entertaining, but I recently went through a crazy weight and size change, my proportions are totally different, im a weird size in everything and everywhere and sometimes have to make my own clothes from scratch... I’ve never seen a channel like this that deals with mid size or different sizes, and i found it at the right time because this is all pretty new for me. I feel supported and I love my new body thanks to you. 😊

For cutting even hems I like to eyeball on my body where that cut would be, measure how many inches off that would be with a ruler, fold the shirt in half vertically, and then measuring out from the bottom (say we’re doing 7 inches) 7 inches across the shirt and making a dotted line with a sharpie. Makes it sooo much easier to get it exactly even and not lopsided!
Because of watching Carrie’s videos I’ve actually found my own style and I feel sooooo happy!!!💕

If you do try sewing please film it! I'm not the most skilled sewer but i did patch my son's jeans over the weekend and i put some elastic in the hem of some old pjs to make them into "joggers" so i don't trip on the pants legs

I 💛 the look of taking a flannel plaid shirt and dip dying it in bleach at the bottom. You really can't go wrong so experiment with different materials of shirt in different colors to get different looks. It would also be really cute to dip the tips of the collar in bleach as well. But also they sell cute little studs that you can punch through or iron on that would look super adorable and awesome on the collar.

I thrifted a long sleeve gray Harley Davidson shirt and it had stains on the bottom, but I had been scared to cut it but decided to take the plunge and just DO IT! lol

Dawn dish soap for grease stain. I have an idea for a DIY thrift flip that I've done. Take a tshirt & cut long fringe in the bottom & sleeves. It's super cute!
Awesome! For the NO. Shirt you should iron on a number 1 underneath. Ever since you showed it last week, I kept thinking that it was supposed to be number since it has the period after No. lol!
Next time you have a stain I'd love to see u do some bleach splatting. I think that could look awesome on a cropped tshirt or some denim 😘

I have to wear long shirts because I have a shorter torso and short length shirts make me look ridiculous. Same with really high rises pants - I have to wear mid-length. I just recently came to this conclusion, ha ha ha.
