The guitar is mixed to much up front, the sound is way to harsh that ways and you can hear the gate cut on certain points "wich it needs to" but lower joes guitar in the mix and it will be way more pleasant as a whole.
You really don't know very much to anything about mixing do you? Lol! But hey, it's cute to see you try and talk about it as if you know what you're saying. Joe's guitar is supposed to be right up front. He's playing to backing tracks. What's more important to the listener? Joe's guitar playing at a Workshop/Performance, or the backing tracks? Also, the sound of his guitar being too "harsh" comes from the environment of the room he's in as well as how the mixing engineer decided to EQ it (which was likely Joe himself when this was getting prepared before his performance section). There's really nothing wrong with this performance or the levels dude. But again, it's cute to see you try and talk about it as if you know what's happening.

It doesn't sound nice and way to pushed, hes got videos where he sounds way better and he can sure play a note or 2.
Could have been done with a cam or something but why?,and how can i know if he's going trought a pa,and then perhaps pc or not?. You don't. As i clarify with my basic knowledge and you thinking where on a level as mixers, that just saddens me. I say what i think, where is point that i prove that i'm right?. Exaclty, stop beeing an ass hat.
As a professional mix engineer, I think it sounds fine, and it probably sounded even better live. You can have your own opinion, though. That was a nearly flawless performance, though, which is the real treat here.

Lol that crowd. They look like they're in a women's lit survey class
Of course I'm gonna like this, this was amazing.
Is the audience alive? Move your head or something.
... Maybe in a trance 😉😅!
I thought the same thing!
Guess you've never been to one of his concerts. There are a few tunes that require audience participation, but mostly you just sit there trying to comprehend (and not drool on yourself). Any gratuitous noise making is just an insult to the artist.
@@brakenoodle105 No shit! How can anybody sit in a chair, motionless, with their arms crossed,
while he's ripping it up like that?? Do they have a pulse?
Simply amazing,very very very Nice.
-_- cute that your trying to be a smartass. Continue this way and you'lle make allot of friends. I'm no mixer and do it with the little i've learned but yeah offcourse" you already knew that"-_-. Anyhow it doesn't sound to nice in this video no matter what, could have been done better. Btw i was there checking the levels, the where incorrect ;).
That was a nearly flawless performance, though, which is the real treat here.
amazing sound
Got to be a tough gig playing to load of dis-interested corporate types.
But yet they still applaud him
+Mark Griffiths They were in a THEATER.
FF'em, it's all about that personal feeling :-)
+Gustavo Oliveira No, they were in a THEATRE.....
+Mox_au Sorry for my English. Thx for correcting me.... hey! wait a moment, "Theatre" wouldn't be British english and "Theater" American english????
