I’ve watched this video over a hundred times …maybe more…I can honestly say this was one of joes best performances of Flying in a blue dream..every note precise..his bends and vibratos,pull offs and hammers…my ears are saying this is his best live performance of this song. You know I’m right

This is the best and ultimate version of Flying in a Blue Dream that I have ever heard and I seen him live at HellFest...God this man is fucking amazing..a story told thru sound..from start to finish your on the ride of your life. 🤘😎🤘
you can hear how he's fighting the amp as it maybe doesn't as much gain as he'd like etc.. just brilliant to see top artists working hard to bring their sound through no matter what gear they have...
I don't know you guys, but the tone of this Sweetwater live solo concert, was for me one of the best I heard, I don't know if was his guitar, the amp, the effects simulator, his laptop , he had extra coffee, this was pure magic
A masterpiece, time passes and I never tire of listening to it, not only one of Joe's best instrumental songs, but one of the best works written for electric guitar!

He never makes mistakes
bruh i can even spot more than 10 mistakes in this song, wrong notes and unwanted open strings notes. Joe is great but he doesn't have a decent technique like paul gilbert or maybe jeff loomis where they can play live without making any mistake at all. Joe is a great teacher, and music composer
I love rocking out but I admit it's nice to see the audience calmly and quietly enjoying such awesome music. It really shows respect for the person on stage. They're really into it man and I am too. :)

Satch is one of the rare ones, his instrumentals speak to you more than lyrics can.
This is one of my favorite performances by Joe and one of my favorite songs..his sound and rig set up was perfect..I also love his performance at HellFest where he was wearing all silver..I recommend you all to check that one out

Going to his show in less than a month, I am so pumped up beyond recognition. One of the guitarists who prompted me to pick up a guitar in the first place...there's no better feeling than turning on some Satch, hearing the first few notes and then just getting the biggest grin on your face.

You are spot on, Jimi was perhaps the most influential musician since the days of Bach, Mozart & Beethoven. All of us mortal guitarists owe him a debt of gratitude, we are generally just parroting the sounds that man invented. To think he didn't even read music. One of the saddest things is that he was planning on a collaboration with Miles Davis just before he died, a shame we never had the joy of having that music in this world. Maybe they are trading notes in Paradise....

Hes incredible... just saw him when he came through Spokane, WA on the Wormhole tour.... He never gets the credit he deserves... hes a phenom player.. a once in a generation type... he combines the blues/rock/shred into a form that few can touch...This song got me hooked on him when I was 18.... he just kicks ass... bottom line!!!

@@swathimuralee yes that hormonic did not want to work but I can happen easily, also I have seen Joe live when he came to Wales he was awesome aalso a few other bands was the like Joe Walsh, Eric Johnson etc it was a great line up… Also if you like guitarists have a listen to John 5 his plying is out of this world.

Joe scores original music most of the time. B4 he came on with chickenfoot . . . Sammy had asked him to start a band with him, he said "he didn't play other peoples music or do covers." This is from Sammy's book. sammy said the second time he asked a couple of years later, he had lightened up . . . he will now do covers.
