So fun fact, the Callaway Corvette people ARE the golf guys. It's all one big family. They have several schools named after them in Troup County, GA. Along with a huge amount of land in the aforementioned county. Callaway also has Callaway Blue water, and Callaway Gardens in Harris County, GA. And ties to Franklin D Roosevelt.

I first came across Donut and James on Snapchat while taking a poop and honestly,my first impression was that James was trying too hard to be entertaining and funny but I must admit, having been a consistent viewers for the last 2-4 months Jame's comedic approach to these videos and the AMAZING editing has really grown on me and I have come to love this channel and James as a host. I grew up 2 towns over from Callaway. In early ‘86, my girlfriend’s dad worked for them. Every weekend he brought home a different sick turboed vet they were working on. Amazing machines!

Akira Nakai used to race back in Japan, he had a modded AE86 with a custom bodykit and for some reason he liked the expression "Rauh Welt Begriff", which in german makes little sense, and since he is obsessed with Germany, he found a 930, made another custom bodykit for it, heavily inspired by the GT2 variant of the car, and then started getting attention for it, so he decided to sell them, charge a shitload of money, and tell his clients that they weren't getting their bodykit if they didn't flew him to wherever they are to have him install them. There you go.
You forgot that he portrayed himself in Need for Speed (2015) but yeah. And you can even get some of his bodykits in the NFS games from thereon.

So like, and hear me out here, the Lexus SC. It's so underrated especially on the west coast, same platform as the supra but you coulde get either the 2JZ or the 1UZ V8. Plus they're insanely reliable.
I'm still kind of suprised they haven't done an up to speed on SC's/Soarers. Or the Eunos Cosmo for that matter. Both so underrated
everyone says im crazy when i say the sc is a better 2j chasis then the supra... sc is front mid engine technically and much cheaper than a supra

everyone had their wall car, the poster on your wall when you were a kid. Being born in 83, and my friends of a similar age, some loved the Countach, some loved the Testarossa. I will forever remember the Sledgehammer. When the Internet was young, one of my favorite sites was "supercars.net" not sure it even exists anymore. but browsing and seeing the 252mph on the sledgehammer just always made me happy. Growing up, and learning more about it, How it was developed by Callaway and driven by friggin Lingenfelter, there was nothing more epic then this car. the Callaway brand holds a very special place in my soul!.

The C12, yeah. I'd love it for it to return in a future title, and alongside some other models like the Sledgehammer Corvette, some of the race cars that used their engines, and/or the C16. Or maybe even that shooting-brake C7 they did.

SWEET JESUS I remember as a kid seeing a Callaway c16 on the road. I was SUPER young so I didn't understand how rare it was but I knew it was a vette from the body shape. Yea, I was a 3-year-old who could name every car on the road

My 4 yr old loves pop up headlights song James
IDK if this was made before his son appeared on Jay Leno's Garage, but they also made a conversion for the C7 Corvette to make it a WAGON (called in the Aerowagen [or something similar]), and it looks *DOPE* . It only adds a small amount of trunk capacity overall, but they did a fantastic job keeping the styling true to the regular car's design, so it looks factory AF, and immediately got added to my dream garage.

In 1992 I was working at the Cerritos Auto Mall location of Enterprise Rent A Car (record holder of the most contracts written in a month) which was located in a trailer at the end of the cul du sac behind S&J Chevrolet (Penske).
The owner of S&J let some of tool around his back lot in his Callaway Corvette after he'd done figure 8's around a pair of light poles for about 5 minutes.
