I love my BDEDC Topo TPT Slide, used it for short term use, mail and opening boxes. Used it every day I got it, took it through TSA no problem. However, I recently got Exceed Designs TiRant Razer V3. It's easier to break down boxes comfortably. I still carry my TPT slide, as a back up Razer storage.
I waited to get one of these for a long time due to the price. After finally getting one, I don't regret it at all. Watch the how-to's from BigIDesign's channel. They demonstrate a couple different ways to replace the blade. Practice with the dull one it comes with until you get the hang of it. Once you figure it out, your confidence increases to the point that a sharp edge isn't an obstacle.
It’s hard to criticize such a simple, elegant implementation. After using this I have trouble thinking any other way to make something like this. I don’t like to say perfect but I’m tempted to. It’s truly great.
Dude, i HATE MY TPT strictly because of the blade swap. Ive thrown it away getting so pissed at swapping blades. Of course i dug it back out, but god ita awful
Gerber prybid is what I went with save your money and get a very durable tool for 17 bucks. And I love titanium stuff.

does the blade touches the body when sliding? and go dull every time?
I had a slider and I did find this to be the case! It was constantly dull even before actually cutting anything!!

Ok, but for now, it's very tough to get out the blade
I know nothing about this blade: do I see notches in the "mouth" of the blade cutout for using as a wrench on nuts/bolts?
Ahhhh, and 3 minutes after I wrote THIS comment you reference it. 🤓
Btw I’ve seen some TH-cam videos saying this doesn’t work very well.
Changing the blades are a pain in the arse
Agreed. I don’t do it often enough to get the hang of it.

Way to expensive for what it is.
Glorified stanley knife, or box cutter if you're across the pond..
Hi friend! I still don't see heat shrink on that belt clip. 😜
And 3 minutes after I post this comment, you reference this. 👍
Ha! Glad to see I predicted all your questions. It’s a great little knife. Expensive but quality.
@@CurlysCurated Clear evidence that you know your audience, and what they need to know. 👍
Or pure sloppy luck 🤫
@@CurlysCurated Well, one makes you look amazing, and the other less so. I'd opt for the former.
