I like the ranger band on your fixed blade. I'll have to use that to stay a pen and a lighter. For your phone case, you can use it to stash some thin items like bandaids or some cash.
I really like what you’ve done with your keys etc!!! No jingle 😍 In the past is stuck a tec accessories P7 suspension clip (using doubled sided sticky tape) to my victorinox electrician. Works very well but I did catch in of something and the clip came off. Waist band carry would likely reduce the potential of that happening 🧐👍🏻😉 The uses for ranger bands are only limited my one’s imagination. I use one around a mini bic and slide in along my belt. Stays there nice and snug.
Maratac is a sub company of CountyComm, so yes, the widgy bars are the same. Great setup and great ideas! I have been slimming my EDC down as well. I want to start carrying a fixed blade too, I am waiting on Big Idea Design to release their fixed blade called the Lookout.
I am very intrigued by your fixed blade knife setup and I like your thinking outside the box mentality. It’s apparent that you have given that a lot of thought. I may have to try a similar set up for when I’m out and about. Thanks for the idea!
It's I thought it was a crazy idea at first but it's turned out to be 100% practical. I' wearing it now while typing this, hunched forward at my desk, in nylon shorts and no pokes! I can't even feel it.
you can get a lanyard for your phone. If you find one of your style, it is incredibly useful. I use mine as a key chain too. You can let go of your phone like a fire arm when you need to quickly handle something with two hands, no need to fuss with jean pockets. I also consolidate my wallet with my phone case.
It’s interesting to watch other people’s evolution of their EDC and what they carry and how it changes over time and use. It’s something we all go through. Everybody goes through the wants and needs when they put together their EDC, but it’s only through use and trial and error, so they find out what they really need and people’s needs are varied. Definitely go for a smaller phone, because I, like you, prefer to watch things on a TV. I’ve found the IPhone 12 mini to be about perfect, for my needs. Again, I, like you, have different carry depending on where I’m at or what I’m doing. At home, it’s a Gerber EAB, Victorinox nail clippers and a midnight manager because I wear lightweight nylon shorts and don’t like a lot of weight in my pockets.
You're right. I think we all have to go through it. First its "Man I love having everything when I need it." That slowly becomes "Damn, I'm tired of carrying all this shit everywhere." 😂 The nylon shorts situation definitely warrants unique carry options. 50% of my choices revolve around not wanting to put on "proper" pants every day.
It is minimal and very functional. Glad to hear that you really like it and works very well for you.

The fixed blade knife bundle looks great, well done!
I honestly can't believe how well it's worked out.

@@CurlysCurated Outstanding!! I gotta give that setup a try for sure, but not sure how it’ll work with my muffin top 😂. Placement will be key

@@CurlysCurated “Damn, I’m tired of carrying all this shit” YES 😂.
I hear ya on not wearing “proper” pants the majority of time, lol!
I do not like that clunky bundle on the Izula, but one of my many Izulas never ever leaves my waist... I always have one on me. Best EDC blade!!
Have you really used the prybar? Was is not worth the cost or time?
Put some heat shrink over your corkscrew and that will stop pocket wear on your tinder. Peace from Scotland
